I have had some shockingly bad experiences with general contractors over the years; so it is with great pleasure that I commend B&R General Contracting for restoring my faith in the profession and industry. From day 1,with the initial roof inspection, I was assigned a project manager. Jacob Clem showed up, on time! (Yes, this is a big deal! Especially when 2 other roofing companies failed to show up) He did the inspection, took photos and spent the time patiently explaining all the issues that he found. He answered all my questions and assured me that he would be there every step of the way. I should also mention that this was a big project for me, involving the roof, fence and concrete path replacements, and the installation of a new retaining wall. Jacob is an upbeat and professional young man, with a quirky sense of humor which I really appreciated. True to his word, he was on call the entire time. I have no hesitation in recommending Jacob Clem from B&R General Contracting.

Billy Marcinko & Jim Tucker came highly recommended to us by our handyman who had his entire roof replaced by B&R General Contracting. Billy & Jim are professional, knowledgeable, & detail oriented. They are like a needle in a haystack when it comes to roofers. Billy & Jim came out quickly after we called them for the initial inspection. We had two bad experiences in the past dealing with insurance companies on hail damage claims where the first insurance company initially lowballed us for $1000 & another insurance company a decade later denied the claim because they supposedly didn't see any hail damage. The moral of the story is you need someone like Billy & Jim that know how to battle with the insurance company to get maximum settlement otherwise the insurance company will try to lowball you or outright deny the claim. Billy and Jim were able to make a strong case to this new insurance company to approve replacing the entire roof without any runaround. Wow!!! Billy & Jim were also here on the day the adjuster came out & submitted 170 photo report to adjuster documenting all hail damage. They kept us updated thru out the entire process. Billy supervised the installation of new roof, & the new roof looks great. We had some storms come thru after the new roof was installed, & there have been no leaks inside. We really do appreciate Billy & Jim using quality materials without cutting corners like some other companies do. Don't hesitate to give this "dynamic duo" a call if you need a new roof!!

I couldn't recommend B&R enough. We needed a new roof following a pretty bad storm and Evan Litton was instrumental in helping us navigate the insurance process. It was our first time submitting a claim on this level so he was very helpful in educating us on the process and cadence of communication. The roof itself went on quickly and looks fantastic. They even coordinated to replace the roof while I was at the hospital having our first kiddo so we didn't even have to think about it! We had hail damage (roof) and Evan helped us navigate through our claim. He also was able to get more compensation from the insurance company. What impressed us the most was Evan’s diligence and professionalism. We could not have been more pleased.

B&R General Contracting was amazing to work with. We ran into some challenges due to having an historic home. We had to adhere to historic preservation requirements which would have discouraged many contractors. Adam Blackwood and Dustin Ferris were very responsive and accommodating. They made the entire remodeling process as painless as possible. The work crew were top notch. Repairs included garage and window restoration, siding and door replacement, interior plaster repairs, interior and exterior painting, electrical work, installing new light fixtures, and deck repairs. Photos include the finished exterior work.

Replaced our roof earlier this year. We just bought the home and had an extremely subpar insurance policy. Some of the more heavily advertised roofers in DFW were totally unhelpful (not to name names).

Dustin was the only one who came out, went back and forth with my insurance company, and got my whole roof replaced without us paying a dime. When dealing with a project like this, you really want a contractor whose going to fight your insurance company -- not you. I totally recommend them for roofing and other projects -- I've even referred to customers of my own.

My insurance company only acknowledged a minimal damage on my roof. Brad at BR Roofing worked for 8 months to convince them until they finally accepted that the entire roof had to be replaced. BR Roofing never gave up and never took a no for an answer from the insurance. Thanks to them now I have a new roof. The best company to work with!

Very impressed with the B&R team! They explained how the process works and did everything they said they would. Got the roof done in a day, which was amazing. I didn’t understand exactly how the insurance worked and was really relieved that B&R were able to handle the technical part of that so easily. Evan is literally awesome! After the Allstate guy said we didn’t have any damage Evan resubmitted all of the pictures of the damage. He was able to get our roof and fence and deck covered. He was always available and prompt with questions. We really felt like he fought on our behalf in a way we wouldn’t have been able to do on our own. Make sure to ask for him when you contact the company.

Finally the last big piece of our home that needed updating is done, the roof & gutters! B&R team did an awesome job replacing the roof and the gutters promptly and of high quality. Everything looks phenomenally done! Will be recommending them to anyone who asks for a great contractor for roof and gutter replacement or hail/wind damages. Jim and Billy were excellent to work with, very prompt with communicating, answered all questions we had, and were very accommodating. Probably wouldn’t have even started the process for a few more years if it weren’t for these two gentlemen.

Only thing I will advise anyone with when going through insurance is:
1) You have insurance for a reason! If there’s truly hail damage on your property and the roof needs replacing, take advantage of it!
2) Make sure you don’t have too many claims in a recent time period (3+ claims in 3-5 years). If I you already have too many claims, be careful about opening a new one and putting yourself at risk of being dropped by your insurance company!
3) If 1&2 are true for you, use B&R and get Billy & Jim out to your property to give you some advice!! Thanks guys!

This is the second roof I've done with Brad at B&R. super easy to work with. He met me at my house both times and called the insurance company with me to answer any questions. He also met the adjuster at my house for the inspection to make sure that he captured everything. When it was time to do the roof, his crew was out immediately and was able to knock it out and did a great job cleaning up after. highly recommend

I worked with Dustin to get a new roof for my house due to monstrous sized hail that left us in serious need. Despite all the data presented, my insurance company tried to deny me service and only provided a partial approval for damage to our fence but not the roof. Dustin and his team knew I had sufficient proof to get full approval so he didn’t quit. Dustin fought on my behalf with the help of a private adjuster and while it did take a while, they eventually got me the full funds I needed for my full roof replacement from my insurance! Plus it was installed in a matter of HOURS and cleanup afterwards was far superior to the previous roofer I had worked with. Thank you so much Dustin! I’d be in serious debt without your hard work and persistence!

Best service we have had by any contractor job. Dustin is awesome and our roof looks perfect. The roof changed the aesthetics of our entire house. First company to properly replace our roof in the last 4 roof replacements.

When our neighbor had her roof replaced, she had great things to say about B&R contracting. We knew we would need to have our roof replaced as well. We worked with Dustin and he helped us through every step of the process. He was kind, prompt and professional and gave us plenty of time to consider our decisions regarding the project. He was so great to work with, we decided to have him help us finish out both our bathrooms that were in need of repair. The bid he was able to give us for the bathroom repair was so reasonable, we decided to have him bid replacing all floors in our home as well. We are loving our home makeover!

Dustin was just as thorough in allowing us to find what we wanted. One of our neighbors are already scheduled to receive an inspection from Dustin. That says a lot!

there were so many roofers in my neighborhood from the hail storm last june. i was referred by my neighbor to Brad, They replaced my roof, gutters, stained me fence and painted three rooms inside my home.
He showed me his company had very good insurance and also workman’s compensation for his crews.
After watching the other companies in the neighborhood sketchy work and workers i went with B&R.
Brad was able to communicate everything that going to happen during the claim nd the work was immaculate. I highly recommend this company!

I don’t recommend using B&R General Contracting. Their communication is not the best. They ignore or avoid answering specific questions of actual costs. What they promise verbally does not match their contract. They replaced our roof after the recent hail storm in May. B&R did an okay job but now we wish we had hired a different contractor because when it came time to pay up, Evan pushed for more. From the beginning Evan pushed for us to quickly sign the contract. Beware as I don’t want other homeowners to experience what happened to us. If your insurance provides a list of approved contractors go with them or a highly reputable company with available references.
