We hired Bouchey Builders to replace our 30-year-old wooden front entrance porch and rear deck with new composite materials. But my wife's dream was to add a 3-season porch on a section of the rear deck outside our living room and sliding door. Bouchey made her dream come true with an amazing upgrade to our back yard living. We now have these beautiful additions to our home, which the crew of Mike, Randy and Kerry worked tirelessly to create for us. Their attention to detail and delivering absolute satisfaction was paramount and is evident in the finished product. We also added some additional work because we were so pleased. Mr. Bouchey was very serious about our being 100% satisfied. We recommend using his company and would be comfortable contacting him again in the future for additional projects.
This is in addition to our original review, 8 months since the original completion of work.
It turns out that we had problems with the sliding windows that were installed on our porch. They did not open or close smoothly as other similar Pella windows in our home do. We contacted the owner Randy, and he came to check the problem. He decided the problem was with the window, not the install. I contacted Pella, the window company, and they sent men to my home to check. The conclusion was they felt that 2 could be defective and agreed to send newly produced windows to my home. When they arrived, I contacted Randy to install them. In a previous discussion Randy had asked to be paid to install these windows. Pella offered an amount far less than Randy asked for; therefore, the new install was refused by Bouchey Builders, and I have 2 large windows in my garage ever since. The fact is, that by the time this problem was discovered, it was too late. I had no way previous way of knowing about the problem because my porch was full of tools (it was winter) and as a grateful customer made the balance due payment when Randy asked. Since this began, my research has suggested that the problem can be caused by the original opening being framed too tightly. No way to know unless the existing windows are removed first. I have been forgotten by the builder and not been contacted since. I am left with the dilemma of paying Bouchey personally to do the work (AGAIN) or hiring a different contractor and once the truth is learned, sue for my costs? I guess the lesson here is don't be fooled by a seemingly nice person who seems to just need the money and make a final payment, until you are SURE the job is done to your complete satisfaction! I waited a long time to change this review, but I think it is time to be completely honest. Maybe now I will hear back, but not for the reason I should have. Also, if you are asked to write a great review, be sure you are truly happy, and it is justified, not just the nice thing to do, which is how I was raised. I considered just deleting but decided on this for now. Live and learn even if you are an old dog (65 but first time ever doing a major reno) being taught painful new tricks. Power of the pen!

Randy and company sided my house and wrapped all of the trim, replacing pieces along the way. No issues with the work, timing or details of the job - done on time and for what he said it would cost.
I would recommend his company for other projects, as I looked at other jobs he did before I contracted - decks, interior renovations. No observed issues and no owner dissatisfaction comments with the projects I saw.

We hired Bouchey Builders to repair a deck damaged by a fallen tree. During the course of the work additional water damage was discovered to the exterior plywood under the vinyl siding around the area where the deck attached to the house. We chose Randy because of his great communication and worked within our budget.

Randy and his workers were always nice and respectful. They did a great job on our deck. I’m amazed by the attention to deal throughout the project. They made sure everything was not only architecturally sound but also aesthetically pleasing too. Even all the screw holes within the Trex boards were plugged up so it all blends in. We love how well it looks and how much bigger they were able to expand.

Randy was also even nice enough to help tack down a gutter that was giving me trouble on windy days.

I would recommend Bouchey Builders and glad to know there’s a local I can call on for any home improvement in the future.

If you're looking for an honest, fairly priced, detail oriented contractor who can truly do it all, Randy is your guy! My husband and I had some big ideas for our unfinished basement when we bought our house six years ago. Over the years we've had time to really think about what we wanted to do with the space and after meeting with a few contractors, we went with Bouchey Builders. I was confident in Randy and his team, but my goodness, THEY DELIVERED! They built our dream space and had some amazing ideas to elevate our vision. We have a radon mitigation system that stuck out into the room and Randy had the idea to build a custom cedar-lined bench to with storage to hide it. It's such a bonus to have that extra storage and seating area! He never bat an eye when I would ask for a last minute addition, like the board and batten, and he found a way to integrate it into the bench so it looks seamless. The tile work in the bathroom is perfection and the wet bar is more amazing than we even envisioned it to be! We never want to leave the basement. He and his crew were like clockwork, kept the space clean, and stayed until the job was done to our satisfaction. As a stay at home mom I saw them every day and they were a pleasure to have around. We are so happy we went with Bouchey Builders. Randy and his crew did such an incredible job completely finishing our basement. He took our dirty, drab unused basement to a beautiful, bright space equipped with a full kitchen, open living room, bedroom and bathroom. Our basement is now everyone’s favorite place to hang out. The difference before and after down there is truly stunning, when people come over they are shocked at how stunning it is now. Randy and his crew came up with some awesome ideas to bring our basement to the next level. I had a leak in my roof, recently after a few good heavy duty storms. I called approximately 6 different companies. I got no return calls, some places said their mailbox was full. Someone messaged me on my Nextdoor app, so I called. He answered my call, came to see my roof that very same day, and came and completed the job, with a couple extra little repairs he noticed within 3 days of my call! Responsive, responsible, very timely, quality work! They will now my first and only call for any of their services they cover!

Randy painted the siding on my home to correct faded, discolored panels. Initially I thought i needed to replace the siding but he suggested painting the siding and it looks great! He did an excellent job and I would highly recommend him.

I had Bouchey Builders put a new roof on my house and garage, including new tar paper, ice shield, and fix a 2 inch gap in both sides of my roof that was builder error. Randy and his crew were consummate professionals, they were on time if not a little early every day. They cleaned the worksite everyday before leaving. Randy and his crew were very thoughtful of my dog and 3yr old daughter, warning us to not walk outside with out shoes, or letting us know where they were working for the day so my daughter should play on a different part of the yard. When she came out to talk to them and ask questions they were all kind and gentle with her explaining what they were doing, and what the tools were. The workmanship was fast and pure perfection which I expected after speaking with Randy and seeing how he maintains his own house and lawn. When starting the process Randy took photos of my house and gave me shingle suggestions along with when purchasing shingles spoke with his contact to confirm his suggestion. Randy has a smaller crew then some outfits so it may have taken a little longer, than a larger company, but Randy was upfront with all costs and time it would take. They are currently finishing up as I type this and as one guy is finishing the last bit of shingle the rest of the crew is doing a deep clean of the work side, and cleaning my deck and siding of the occasional smudge from a falling shingle and cleaning my lawn of all bits and pieces. When it comes time for me to redo my bathrooms, kitchen, or add the Bay Window I'm planning, I will 100% contact Randy fist and would recommend his business to family and friends.

Randy did a great job installing a 4’ x 4’ Velux solar powered skylight in my daughter’s bedroom. The inset and lines are perfect. It stormed the very next day and not a drop, as expected. He also installed and wired a new ceiling fan and painted the ceiling and the room with perfection. His workmanship is detail oriented and professional. We hired Bouchey Builders to remove and install new Azek trim on two of our garage doors. It is a much nicer look that will never rot or need painting. They also removed three deck posts, to open up the view from our slider to the backyard, and installed a header substantial enough in size to hold the weight of the deck above. We obtained a much improved view! We also recently had them install our new roof. All of Randy Bouchey’s work is top notch, he is punctual, answer all your questions, addresses any concerns and the best part -he works with his crew so you know everything will be done right. Randy has done quite a few jobs at my house over the years including completely refinishing my basement, which came out amazing. I was especially pleased with my bathroom. It was completely gutted and he installed a shower. When I saw the end result, I was more than happy with what he had done. He has not disappointed on any of his jobs. Randy does not do "rush jobs". He does very detailed work and takes pride in what he does. There is no job too small or too big. I have recommended Randy to a few friends and they have been quite pleased as well. If you want great work done at a reasonable price, Randy is your guy.

Bouchey Builders have worked on both of my homes in the past 20 years, everything from Roofing, Electrical, Framing sheetrock, Harwood floors and tiling. I like the fact that I can leave my home unattended when this contractor is on premises and not wonder if anything is missing when I get home. I have found this contractor to be honest, trust worthy and flexible to my needs. He often offers me better idea's on things I need fixed or replaced than my own idea's.
