Great experience buying my Chevy Traverse from Bob Allen! The staff (especially Debbie)was friendly, helpful, and made the process quick and easy. No pressure—just honest service. I brought my car in for maybe a repair
I was informed that the engine is going out. The service person was very nice and truthful to me. She even directed me to a dealer to talk to about a new vehicle. So I went and spoke to Andrew he worked hard to see what he could do to help us financially and get us into a car that we need for work and other things.

David Eliadis at Bob Allen was amazing in helping my husband find the exact Jeep Gladiator he’d been searching for. Since we’re from out of state, he handled everything over the phone—A+ communication! From pricing the Gladiator to assessing our trade-in and taking care of the paperwork, he had it all ready before we even arrived. Once we got to the dealership, everything was quick and seamless. I seen a 2025 GMC Yukon Denali XL online and I knew this was the vehicle for me! The price was great so I knew I needed to move quickly. I called and spoke with Jamie, who was such a wonderful resource. We placed a payment to hold the GMC and drove up the next day. Throughout the entire process Jamie was in contact and always available. She made sure to get every rebate she could for me. From the moment we stepped into Bob Allen's dealership we felt welcomed and not pressured by anyone. It was such an easy process to purchase my vehicle, I will be back for future purchases. It's a family owned business and everyone is wonderful, Bob has did well for himself! The GM was very personable and made me feel confident in doing business with them. He was kind spoken and a honest man. I give this dealership 10/10 stars!

Went in there knowing pretty much what I wanted, our sales woman "Deb" was there to answer any questions, but was in no way pushy. She made things very simple and straight forward. I will definitely be returning to Bob Allen for future purchases.

My son purchased a brand new Chevy Malibu in June. The check engine light came on in October and he called to get an appointment. He informed them of an out of state trip he had planned, but they were unwilling to service the car before the middle of November, almost a month later. He ended up having to rent a vehicle for his trip because the car wasn't consistently starting. They were completely unconcerned about the problem and didn't help him in any way even though it is still under warranty.

If you're looking for a car dealership that will treat you as you deserve you’re in the right place! I walked in expecting the usual car sales pressure but was pleasantly surprised to see how much they fight to get you that bottom dollar price everyone wants. The team here is incredible from top to bottom, especially my salesman Dave. That man will stop at no end to get you taken care of. Not to mention the sales manager Joe and his incredible stories he has. A wonderful environment, so much so you forget you’re even in a dealership in the first place, go see these guys and girls asap!

Very professional! We found the car we wanted through the Chevy website made the deal over the phone . They had everything ready and the car detailed when we got there. Stress free purchase and great to work with. I think I just found my go to first dealership.

I would NOT recommend this place to anyone!!
Had a wiring problem, took it there for repairs under warranty. Surprise, surprise!! An animal had chewed thru a wire, and guess what?? It wasn’t covered by the warranty.!!
I wonder how often that happens??
So, they spliced the damaged wire, and charged us $630.00!! Didn’t even replace the wire!! Just spliced into it and charged us $630.00!!

We had my son’s car towed to Bob Allen. A few days later I get a call from the sheriffs office stating my son’s computer had been stolen and turned in, but they didn’t know where it came from. Come to find out his car was left unlocked and unprotected at Bob Allen and Broken into and the person took most of what was in the car.
How can a dealership expect to do business like this
When my son and the sheriff went to the dealership they didn’t even seem to carewould NEVER recommend them.

Salesman, David Erwin did an awesome job and had the truck ready for us when we arrived. Great experience there. Finance manager was a little high pressure on the extended warranty and after us declining 2-3 time we finally gave in. Otherwise everyone was very nice and overall it was a great experience.

With 3000 miles from the last service my front tires had steel belts coming through, you have an alignment checker at the entrance and the service tech had it on a rack but apparently didn't do all the multi point checking you say you do. Very unhappy to have had to replace all tires at 16,000 miles. I heard the advisor ask the tech to place the old rear tires in the bed of the truck but he put two others in the rear seat of the cab!!! Very disappointed

Dealership was fine but my salesman lacked alot of personal and business ethics. Upon me leaving to get to come pick up my new truck, we were texting and calling each other about accessories and other details then when I asked for VIN # to insure my truck and be sure everything was ready when I got there I got no replies at all on my over 2 hour drive to dealership. When we arrived at dealership, we were met by another sales lady and advised Dave had left for the day to go golfing. None of paperwork was ready to be signed, she had no Idea I hadn't written check for truck yet, (which I got sent emails needing filled out and re-emailed back to dealership which was a pain in the a.... when it could've been done that night), then to top it off we get in truck after it sit there for over 2 days and was completely empty on fuel. Guess he never thought to check, but then again he'd already gotten his commission and didn't frankly give a S...!!!!!!

The service was done on 2/28/24 not on 3/05/24 the service was done in timely manner the only problem I have is the service department charged for 6 quarts of oil and every site I have been on even GM website says the 2.5 engine which is in my truck only takes 5 quarts of oil with the oil filter so I feel like I was over charged for an extra quart of oil.

Appointment made for two issues. 1) hvac blower not working; 2) ticking noise from engine. First was told both were covered under the Protection warranty I purchased with my used vehicle in November 2021. Over an hour later I was told neither were covered and come back in 500 mile increments to determine oil burning re the ticking noise. Possible engine replacement needed and if not covered under warranty could cost $5000 according to Jessica. While there I also paid over $300 for a tire monitor pressure sensor and less than a week later the TMPS light is blinking again. In the past year I have bought 4 new sensors. Very disappointed.

Fastest and easiest transaction ever!!! Debbie and Emma were very professional and pleasant to deal with. Will be driving three hours, just to have them service our vehicle!!!

Follow-up………… I drive 3 1/2 hours to get my truck serviced with this dealership….. and I can honestly say, that it is worth it without a doubt. Prompt, professional, courteous, and above all, they do what they say they will do. No hassle! Great environment/facility.

I moved to town in May 2022. I needed a new local dealership to service my Chevrolet vehicles. I have since purchased 4 vehicles from Bob Allen. I feel very comfortable each time I go in and have gotten to know the staff in management, sales, finance, service and parts, all great people! I know many other people who have purchased multiple vehicles from Bob Allen as well. Keep up the good work! We need more dealerships like Bob Allen. I visit some and do not even get greeted when I walk in the door. I call other dealerships and the person is rude or evasive. So glad I get to deal with Bob Allen personnel.

Do not take your car here! Took 4 trips for them to figure out compressor was the problem on my air conditioner. At first visit, they said it was completely out of freon & would put some dye in to see if leaking. Husband explained we had a warranty. He was told by Jessica, "We can retroact it for the warranty if it turns out to be a leak." He was told to drive it and come back so they could find where a leak was. Paid $447 at first visit thinking we had their good word they would retroact it, if it turned out to be compressor. Took a total of 4 visits! By the 4th, they finally figured out it was the compressor (duh), and found the leak, but wouldn't keep their word. By second visit, I even had enough sense to say, "At some point they have to stop thinking freon and think compressor." I had to call them 3 days after they said they would call (and didn't) to ask what the warranty company said. I could tell she hadn't even checked. I asked if they were going to retroact it like she said, and then she tells me, "They typically don't." What! This is not what was said at first. Why should we pay another $200 for the deductible when we already paid $447? So, they wanted us to pay a total of $667 for something they couldn't figure out AND when she said they could retroact it. No way.... Not ever coming back to Danville & out $447 for an air conditioner that still doesn't work. This is not the way to do business. But again, like most humans, they won't take responsibility for what they said or how they went about this one. We have bought 4 cars from Bob Allen in Frankfort and was recommended Bob Allen in Danville to work on our air conditioner for a Chevrolet Malibu. I even left a message for the manager over the service department in Danville and never got a call back. (Update: Bob Allen in Frankfort made this right, and handled it through the warranty company just fine, but I believe they have new ownership now, so if you have a warranty, I don't think you can go to Frankfort now. They are no longer Bob Allen. Just don't go to Danville whatever you do!)
