I can't say enough about Jamie and his fantastic work ethic. We had a problem with a leaking chimney (that a chimney company had already remasoned and told us it was now waterproofed - it wasn't!) and Jamie came in and immediately identified the issues with the previous repair, literally pointing each one out to us, and explained what needed to be done to fix it. He then proceeded to fix the issues. We then hired him to repair bricks on the entrance to a garage in a rental we own, and he went above and beyond to repair that. Last month, he and his partner built a huge scaffold to reach our extremely high chimney and replaced over 30 bricks that were crumbling or cracking.

He is a quality mason and an even more quality human. I'd recommend him to anyone who needs mason work done. He stands behind his work and will do what needs to be done to make you happy and to complete the job.

Jamie visited our residence and examined a few small cracks in the brick above our garage door. Jamie explained that these were cosmetic in nature and informed on how I could repair myself as it would be the more effective and and cheaper route.
Jamie also took the time to explain how brick work is completed and other things a homeowner to look for when troubleshooting their home's exterior condition.
Jamie also examined our brick walkway and again provided easy cost effective solutions to complete minor crack filling to improve the life and look.

Jamie and his crew did a fantastic job repairing our Chimney. We had bricks replaced and a lot of other work done due to some water damage. Jamie and his crew were great to work. The work was completed as scoped/budgeted and is beautifully done. He even sent progress photos of chimney work after day 1. Would highly recommend if you’re in search for a quality mason. He completed various brick repairs, installed a new chimney cap, rebuilt a decorative plant stand, and stuccoed an area of severely deteriorated brick.

I have an old stone wall that was torn down when I had some plumbing work. I contacted several masons about getting an estimate for my project. On the day I called LMR, I was in the process of leaving a message when Jamie beeped in. We discussed my project and he said he would try to come by that evening or the next day to view it. True to his word, he came by the very next morning. I learned that the job was much more involved than I originally thought, and Jamie was very upfront with me. Although we are not working together yet, I would not hesitate to use this company. My experience with the other masons I called for quotes was a frustrating experience. Slow to respond, and one didn't even show up (twice). Having someone who is professional enough to keep their word, answer their calls and be upfront with my expectations is valuable in my book.

Jamie and his crew did beautiful work replacing 5 rusty lintels and repairing the step cracks in the surrounding bricks. The replacement brick blends perfectly and the job was finished quickly with the site kept tidy and cleaned up after. Once the fresh mortar weathers a bit you won’t even notice the repairs. A lot of people will take your money these days, but not everyone earns it. We felt Jamie did. A nice, patient person who’s an expert at his craft. Can’t wait for him to come back to replace our fire box. Highly recommend!

Professional and timely. I had two windows bricked in and replaced my brick windowsills with stone. James returned my call immediately and I had an estimate the next day. The brick selected was a great match and he used some of the old brick to blend with the existing wall. The work started on time and was completed within three days. The brick and windowsills are perfect—you’d think it was part of the original masonry. Additionally, he pointed up and replaced other bricks not part of the original estimate and didn’t charge me for the work. James Jacobs is the only mason I will ever use and I highly recommend him.

James Jacobs restored a couple of large brick walls and some cracks attached to my house which required carving out broken, cracked or defaced brick and waterproofing. He and his men were efficient, professional and courteous. i highly recommend them.

I had called James Jacobs after receiving his name from the neighborhood app. He came with lots of great recommendations. I needed a small area on the front of my house repaired where an in the wall and conditioner had been. It had been partially finished but the job wasn't good enough and it needed to be ripped out and redone. James did a great job for me. He quoted me a very reasonable price. He was on time, very neat and tidy on the work he did outside. He didn't leave a mess after he was done and came back a few days later to clean off the mortar to make it match the existing brickwork. He did such a great job on the brick that you can't even tell there was anything there before. I can't say enough good things about this company. I will be needing some chimney and fireplace work in the future and I will be calling James Jacobs for sure.

Jamie was great to work with. He was very conscientious and he and Ryan did good work. He said what he was going to do and then did what he said when he said he would. Pricing was fair. He repaired my chimney which had multiple cracked and missing bricks in the shoulder area from a fallen tree. He matched the repair to surrounding bricks and it looks great. I recommend.

Jamie and his crew repaired our 85 year old chimney.
Extremely professional, reliable and knowledgeable. A true standout craftsman. Did a great job and took the time to explain everything. Came highly recommended and did not disappoint! You will not meet a nicer guy and crew. They kept the work site clean and left it pristine. He deserves 6 stars but will have to settle for five.

We had an opening, in our brick exterior under a window, where an old through the wall A/C unit had been. Jamie filled in the opening and rebuilt the window sill. He matched our 70 year old brick that is not made anymore.
In addition, some stucco was repaired on our house. Jamie was quick to respond to our initial phone call, was able to schedule the work within three weeks and was easy to work with.

Water had been dripping in my house around my chimney with each rain. Louisville Masonry Restorations came out recently to check it. The chimney had been painted in the past, and water had been retained in the brick. The mortar was really ruined, along with the majority of the bricks. The best option was to remove the chimney since it wasn't being used to vent anything anymore.
Jamie and Leroy arrived on time, and completed the work within a few hours. They left my roof and gutters clean, and they picked up all the scraps that didn't make it in their trailer as they pitched the debris from the roof. Their price was very reasonable. I would highly recommend them for any brick work.
