Highly recommend. Got their info from a friend who had a good experience previously. Had initial quote from another company who recommended a repair job that was in the thousands of dollars. Bluegrass roofing and restoration felt like there was a more simple solution and fixed the issue for $375. Couldn't have been happier. Not only did he save me a lot of money, he did what few companies do these days: promptly answered the phone, provided education with pictures of what was wrong, offered a simple solution, great communication throughout the process, and actually did what he said he was going to do and when he said he was going to do it. Very rare these days to find someone who does all of those things. Would highly recommend!

Bluegrass Roofing gets all the stars for sure. I had a need for a quick turnaround on a roof leak and interior/exterior repair and painting. Not all roofers will repair and paint but these guys do it and do it right. Seriously, Todd is the best and his folks are some of the nicest and professional folks I've ever been around. They even clean up beautifully. I feel like we have a roofer/home improvement source for life.

As a Realtor it is important to have a go-to for repairs and new roofs. Todd McDonald is very responsive and his crew do quality work. I visited a site today and except for the new roof you you couldn't tell anyone had been on the property. The only roofer I would call!

Bluegrass roofing came out and inspected my roof after storm damage. Todd let me know that I needed to get my insurance involved. He made sure one of his guys placed some covering over the bad spots to minimize the damage until the insurance adjuster could get there. He squeezed me into his schedule and got my roof on right before Derby. His guys were wonderful. They worked their tails off to get it done and diligently cleaned up afterwards. Todd and his crew have been very responsive and were able to quickly and efficiently repair a couple of issues in our old wooden soffits within days of contacting Todd. They were also able to paint and repair 3rd floor wooden dormer window trims that we've had a terrible time finding anyone to work on for the last several years. We are pleased so far and plan to use them for more work in the future.

I needed some soffit and fascia work done and they were out the very next day! It was even a weekend and exceeding all of my expectations. Responded very promptly, The work was high quality and not over priced. SO resonably priced it was under my insurance deductable. Cleaned up well. They fixed a puncture of the roof deck and shingle repair after a large storm came through. Great work, very responsive. I would definately hire them again

Todd branched out into remodeling which was a mistake. He was hired to remodel two bathrooms and create a third one. He hired various subcontractors. Bottom line: Work was often poor, requiring multiple repairs and do-overs, using different materials and colors than selected. Things as simple as hanging lights required multiple do-overs and still not even. We ended up purchasing many items ourselves as Todd "couldn't find them in stock" though chosen based on availability, so I purchased many items myself. Todd was mostly absent. Work supposed to take 2 months but we fired them after 5 months with only 2 of the 3 rooms done, before he could touch the 3rd.

Todd and his team were great to work with. They came out and completed repairs quickly after we received some wind damage to our roof.

After a hard rain, our roof sprung a concerning leak. I called and received a call back within an hour. We discussed the problem and likely repairs, including cost. Todd and his team arrived the same afternoon with a text prior to arrival so I was prepared. Todd needed to come inside to see the leaking area. He follows COVID-19 precautions, which I appreciate tremendously. The team quickly discovered the issue, showed me a photo, and told me the plan. So glad I went with bluegrass for my new roof. Locally owned business that has been around for a while. I've installed my own roof a few times in my past, but I'm feeble these days. That said, Bluegrass was the only one of three companies I had come out to give a quote that was fully knowledgeable. The roofers correctly installed the shingles, ensured the nails where flush & within the slim nail strip, nailed them down in storm-nailing pattern, binding strips were flush, all nails were cleaned up on the lawn, they looked at every square inch of my driveway for any stray nails, and they even took care of a special request I had. My next roof will definitely come from Bluegrass Roofing!

Called Wednesday to schedule the repair of a snapped board molded over leaking water into my attic and by Saturday morning the job was complete. Did my usual online research and saw this company had solid reviews however what sold me was when talking with a few people about roof repair and this one was brought up. Ended up working with the owner who was very easy to talk to while maintaining a professional demeanor . SHOWED UP EXACTLY WHEN HE SAID HE WOULD to quote the job. The workers who showed up kept me in the loop thru the whole repair and had no issues answering my questions. Will no doubt be using this company in the future

Bluegrass Roofing and Restoration did drywall work. Nails in my living room walls and cathedral ceiling were coming out and tape in the joints needed to be replaced. The owner came and gave me a quote for a limited amount of work, but when the crew started, they found many more places that needed attention. They did so much more work than was covered by the original estimate that I called the owner and asked him how much more I owed him. He asked for only a little more than the original quote. The work is top notch. The workmen came, put up scaffolding and did what needed to be done. They also cleaned up very well after they completed the job.

I called on a Sunday and had a complete, professional repair to my roof and underlying ceiling drywall by Tuesday. The quality and value received exceeded expectations, I will definitely be using Bluegrass Roofing and Restoration for any future roofing needs.

Repaired large holes cut in a bathroom's textured ceiling (cut by a plumber fixing a leak). The holes were patched and match PERFECTLY! Needed rotted out window sill and frame fixed and had a great overall experience with Todd and James.
