As a first-time homebuyer, this inspection process was very easy for me. They send an email that you have to sign and an invoice you have to pay. I opted for Venmo and was provided a receipt after. We recently engaged this company for a home inspection as part of our home-buying process. While the inspection itself was important to us, the experience of scheduling it left something to be desired.

After initially signing up, I was unaware that the registration link to confirm the inspection would expire after 24 hours. When I realized this, I contacted the company on a Monday and was informed that I would receive a new link that evening. However, the link didn’t arrive until Wednesday, and I was unable to confirm the inspection that day due to other commitments.

On Thursday morning, I received a follow-up message asking me to confirm the appointment. I was in the middle of work and couldn’t respond immediately. Later that afternoon, I received a call in which I was essentially told that I was wasting their time by not confirming sooner, as they had been holding my spot.

At no point did I ask for the spot to be held, and I fully understood that my failure to confirm quickly could result in losing the appointment slot. I did not appreciate the tone of the phone call; it felt unnecessary and could have been handled with more professionalism and understanding.

While I recognize that scheduling can be challenging, the communication and tone during this interaction were not up to the standards I would expect in a customer service-driven industry.

Jeff was amazing! He scheduled us within a couple of days of contacting him, sent out the agreement with pay options through email the same day, and responded to my question within minutes of texting with clear and helpful information. He was very thorough, and didn't rush the inspection. We even received his report the same night as the inspection. His expertise and commitment to his craft are valued. We feel that he went above and beyond, and for that we are extremely grateful. We will definitely ask for his assistance again in the future.
