More than anything I would have been thrilled to give this company a 5 star.....however....my experience was less than impressive nor professional nor completed or addressed my concerns or my desired installation layout of my home lights. It's really a shame. #1. When the installers came they had no previous instructions or mapping of how my lights were previously put up. I have lights on my home and my barn. They came with zero instructions and had no clue what they were doing. #2. The installers were quite bothered that a barn was included in the installation of a barn along with the home. Apparently, they were on a time schedule crunch and that was not something they even had knowledge of. #3. I had several burned-out broken lights from the previous year and they were bothered that they had to replace the broken lights. Once again, they were on a scheduled time crunch, sort of like I was an afterthought to get my home lights installed. #4. They had to ask me several times the mapping layout of how the lights were to be put up. #5. For some unknown reason they removed all the lights for the barn electrical strings and unscrewed them from the barn light strings and placed my barn lights in plastic bags and were proceeding to load them in their gear supply. I informed them that I had paid for those lights and the electrical strings and they were mine and I needed them back in my possession. #6. I had asked that since they were not installing lights at my barn that they would please install the remaining strings along the front of my house on the ledge above the basement windows and around my door casing. They couldn't figure out even how to accomplish that install so they referred me to owner and said he'd figure out a solution. #7. The owner asked for photos of the front of my home for reference to see how to install the ledge lighting and I sent him photos. #8. The owner of Blue Pine never got back to me. Never texted. Never called, Never responded. So...No lights were installed on the front ledge of my home. #9. Luckily, I ended up with barn strings and my removed barn bulbs without the installers hauling them off. #10.... The take down was today. I had asked for replacement bulbs but received none. I went through my box of taken down strings and there was a bulb that had been broken off at the screw in base. Probably from the taken down ......Well, folks, this is the sorriest excuse for Christmas light installation I've ever had. I now have broken bulbs from the take down and no replacement bulbs. You can decide how you feel about my review. It's the saddest review I've ever posted. I normally only give great reviews. I hope the rest of the clients of this custom lighting company have a much better experience that we did.
