I recently had the pleasure of working with Kenny from Black Hills Exteriors, and I couldn’t be more satisfied with the entire experience. From start to finish, Kenny was professional, knowledgeable, and easy to communicate with. He took the time to explain every step of the process and made sure all of my questions were answered.

The quality of the work exceeded my expectations. Whether it was [roofing, siding, gutters—insert specific service here], the crew was efficient, respectful of my property, and clearly took pride in their craftsmanship. Kenny checked in regularly and made sure everything stayed on track and within budget.

I just want to say thanks to Drew Hill and Jace Thomas for providing excellent service and fixing a leak that the SHEF Church has had for the past few years. Drew was able to seal up the areas where the prior roofers left exposed. Thanks again for your quality workmanship.

Weston with Black Hills Exterior, came out today to get an estimate for fixing some siding that blew off during the wind storm over this past weekend. While on the my roof, he cleaned out my gutters for free. Very nice young man.

Kenny has been fantastic through the whole process. He is patient with questions, explains thoroughly, and provides updates. He came multiple times to meet with two insurance adjusters and followed up providing them with additional support for the claim. The BHE crews were very professional that came for the roof, gutters and downspouts, and doors and windows. Quality work in a timely manner. Kenny called after each crew to make sure everything was as expected. Everyone was very helpful! I highly recommend Kenny and BHE!

BHE was great to work with! I had a small gutter replacement job on my building. They were prompt, professional, reasonably priced, and did a great job. I dealt with Rusty who was awesome and handled everything from start to finish. I highly recommend BHE and will use them again for future projects.

Mike from Black Hills Exteriors in their Spearfish office went above and beyond when it came to fixing all the damage from the June 2023 storm that hit Piedmont. Refreshingly professional, communicative, and trustworthy. So many contractors don't follow through, especially on small repair jobs like we had. When Chris met with us, he ended up personally replacing a piece of soffit that had blown off to address our immediate need and then coordinated the other fascia repairs we were requesting which was done shortly thereafter. Highly recommend BH Exteriors!

After the July 2024 Summerset hail storm, BHE came to the rescue! They got us scheduled immediately for a full roof, siding and gutter replacement. Very professional crew from start to finish. They went above and beyond and they solved all problems that were encountered along the way. Extremely satisfied and I recommend them to anyone needing any exterior work done!

Weston was prompt and did a great job of answering all my question. The price was comparable, and installation completed as promised.

Josh has been wonderful to work with. He has taken time to answer my many questions and has responded quickly when I've sent a text or called. The office staff is friendly and helpful. This was our first time filing an insurance claim for home repairs and Black Hills Exteriors has been with us every step of the way.

The work crews for both the roofing and gutters were friendly and efficient. They did a great job with some changes I requested for rerouting a gutter downspout, and I was extremely impressed with how well everything was cleaned up after the work was completed. Our first roof and gutter replacement was perfected by Kenny Dirk and Black Hills Exteriors. Kenny not only assisted with the style and choice of shingle, but advised us with regard to the insurance process and how to save on homeowner's insurance with a QUALITY Class IV shingle... (thank you, Kenny!) and he was on top of the process from beginning to end. The removal of the old shingles, prep and installation of the new shingles was performed in just a few hours by the installation team and the roof is beautiful! In our case, the gutters were removed and replaced in record time as well. From beginning to end, the process/project was managed very well by Black Hills Exteriors - with no surprises. The cost of the project was extremely competitive and affordable. We very much recommend Black Hills Exteriors for your roofing, siding and window replacement needs - siding and windows are next for us!

Working with Steve at Black Hills Exteriors was a great experience. He was pleasant, knowledgeable and we appreciated that he provided several options for our project.

I can't say enough good things about this whole crew, especially Kenny! He made the process simple, trouble free and cared when we had questions. The craftsmanship of the crew is second to none! It's rare to see people take such pride in their work these days so I give credit where credit is due.
The one little issue I did have was when they dropped a few shingles, missed the dumpster and hit my rooster, but its fine now and you can't even tell anything happened to him!
