Shawn Kelly II was so patient, and helpful to our Condominium Association with a hail claim. He stuck with us for over a year and provided proof and photos as well as meeting with adjusters multiple times for our insurance company. When we finally received our claim reward, he and his team completed the roofs in an efficient manner, plus he went above and beyond to work with us on the bid price so we could replace all of our roofs rather than repair some. Highly recommend!

We lost a good size section of our roof in the Aug 10 Derecho and they have been absolutely outstanding to work with and super responsive to me since day 1. They came today with a large crew and did our whole roof in one long 14.5 hr day. They are diligent, respectful, responsive and left the yard spotless. Great work, superior products and friendly staff. Can’t say enough about how pleased we are with them. Highly recommend them!!!

Black Hawk installed a new roof for me after the hail damage earlier this year. Process was very smooth and timely. After they were done, I did notice a couple of cap shingles that were a little discolored (maybe just from different batches?) and Black Hawk was very responsive in coming out and replacing them. A few months later a derecho blew through with 100 mph winds, uprooting trees and causing massive property around town. We had zero damage to our roof. No lost shingles Overall, great work and will use again.

DO NOT USE!

We had the shingles on our older home replaced. The entire experience was unpleasant, communication was problematic, and the work was extremely disappointing.

I would rate them 0 stars if possible. First, the color shingles were not what we requested. The roof leaked in at least 2 places after the shingles were replaced. After three return visits, we continue to have water coming in our house. We now have to call another company to fix this leak.

The shingles are not laying flat in one section, as there is a raised hump running down the roof.

In hindsight, I would have paid thousands more to get the job done right the first time. Do your homework, seek customer referrals and get all the specifics in writing.

Update- after a recent heavy thunderstorm we discovered yet another leak! Crawling up into the attic reveled a steady drip coming off an errant nail!?!
