Black Brothers Painting used to be a top notch painting company. That was why I chose them to repaint the interior of my custom built, disability accessible home. My house was built in 2015, and I needed the interior to be repainted. I contacted Black Brothers Painting last September, and after being quoted $5,000.00, although this was a steep price, I hired them to repaint the interior of my house. I was informed that it would take five days to complete. They finished in three days.
This was the absolute worst experience I have ever had with a painting business. Two men showed up, and one was late every single day. When they finished painting, my house looked worse than it did before they began. The lines were not straight anywhere. The painters did not cut the paint accurately around the doors, windows or baseboards. They used no drop cloths and as a result, there were drops of paint all over my hardwood floors, the custom cabinets in the kitchen, the custom cabinetry in the bathroom, the woodwork surrounding the bar, the door handles, my solid cherry pencil post bed, the top of the cold air return. I had to hire a different painter to come in and clean up all of Black Brothers mistakes. The owner told me that I was a scam artist, and to do him a favor and never contact them again. Now, it took $1800. to have someone come in and repair the unprofessional paint job that Black Brothers painting did. I had to replace the curtains in the living room, and it is taking a while to repair my floor, because the boards are beveled.This was, by far, the worst painting experience I have ever had.
Update: the owner of Black Brothers painting refuses to pay for the damages his company did to my home. These are the most unethical people I have ever ran into.

Incredible experience from start to finish! Black Brothers Painting painted every inch of my 4,400 sq ft home (ceilings, walls, trim, and fireplace) and did an impeccable job. Communication was reliable and clear and their attention to detail was unmatched! The team counseled me on my paint selection to ensure the high-traffic areas of my home would be resistant to scuffs and easy to clean down the road and they took time to prep my walls and ceiling seams perfectly which made such a difference. The painters were professional, respectful, and tidy - they took great pride in their work and I trusted their expertise. Highly recommend!
