In July of 2019 an ABC Seamless subcontractor installed 224 LF of mesh rain gutter cover for me. I don't know the brand name, but, it is a Teflon coated-black mesh. It works as expected for deciduous tree leaves, however, I have 3 large Austrian pine at one corner of the house. They have long needles and become lodged in the mesh and pile up. It takes a 50+ mph wind to blow them off. So, I still have to climb a ladder to clean the gutter. I would recommend a different designed opening under those conditions. Previously, in 2011, I had an overflow problem and ABC recommended an over sized steel gutter which was also more hail resistant. That solved the problem. Insurance companies should give a reduced premium for those because it must take an awfully large hail to cause damage. I can attest to that. after last two storms (2014 & 2019)
