That is why I am satisfied with my service with my solar setup because it adds value to my home and is a very high quality product and Justice and his team stand behind every installation and if there's ever an issue with my service they are local grassroots company and they are actually monitoring my system more than I am and when it is not producing as it should or when there are technical problems they roll out to get it fixed because they know and I know that this is an investment in my home which is one of the most important things I have and they want to make sure that that solar is working for me

YellowBall was great to work with throughout the entire process of getting our solar up and running. The installers - Jose, Austin and Daron worked quickly and were very communicative. Jose identified and suggested changes to the initial design that made the configuration much more aesthetically appealing. His attention to detail was greatly appreciated. We had our solar panels installed yesterday by Jose Ramirez and his crew of Austin and Deron. We could not be more pleased with the installation. It was done quickly and very professionally with no muss and no fuss. From signing the contract for the install clear up through yesterday, the Yellow Ball personnel kept in contact with us letting us know to expect what and when through the process. Jose made it very clear to my wife that should she find something amiss, just give him a call and he would be by to take care of it. Needless to say, a phone call was not necessary! Great job. I do not hesitate to recommend Yellow Ball to anyone looking to have solar panels installed on their property. We are now only awaiting the disconnet/reconnect by Northwest Energy at the end of the week and we will be up and running.

I haven't yet ordered the system but I received the presentation and initial design and costing information. Very nice, friendly, professional, and thorough presentation! Just the right amount of technical information was provided to help make a informed decision.

Tim Sain, a representative of Yellowball Solar, did a great job in explaining the solar system that would meet our electrical needs. He answered all our questions throughout the entire installation process. The electricians, design engineer, and installers for our system were top notch. I especially like the fact that Yellowball is both a solar installation and roofing company, they utilize all in-house technicians, and they have a great warranty for hail damage on the solar panels. The installers were polite and efficient, and very quick. The guts that installed the boxes for hookup to our home were very knowledgeable and very nice. They walked me thru all the updates prior to the final step and made me feel comfortable asking any question. The emails and calls following up after we switched on were very welcome and helpful.

They got the panels up really quickly. I kthought it would take longer. All the guys were professional and very competent. The electrician was here longer than the others. A very pleasant young man.

The costs were reasonable and within national average per Kw for a system. I recently sought multiple quotes for a new roof and included Yellow Ball Roofing in the process. Unfortunately, my experience with them was far from professional. I received daily follow-ups pressuring me for a decision while I was still gathering estimates. Instead of respecting my process, they bypassed me entirely and sent an agent directly to the homeowner—an elderly gentleman—without my consent.
The homeowner later informed me that he felt pressured into signing a contract and paying on the spot. When I became aware of the situation, I contacted the company to put a hold on the job. While they did return the check, they proceeded to guilt-trip the homeowner, stating the roof could have been completed within a week and making other unnecessary remarks.
This aggressive and unprofessional approach, especially for such a high-cost project, was unacceptable. A roofing company should not only provide quality work but also demonstrate integrity and empathy, especially when dealing with major home repairs. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Yellow Ball Roofing due to their high-pressure tactics, pricing, and lack of professionalism.

Professional, on time and on budget. Tim was very helpful facilitating the design and installation. The system performs as advertised. One note for new owners, be sure to file with the Montana Dept of Revenue promptly to keep your property taxes from going up.

Jason has been super helpful working with us on our insurance claim after the recent snowstorm. We had damage to our roof and gutters, among other things. He gave us a very detailed quote and has been working with our insurance adjuster on getting everything covered. It has taken a lot of stress of of us. Highly recommend this company and are very happy to be working with Jason!

I'm working with Jason on my roof repairs after the crazy amount of snowfall in December and January. My insurance company has entered the picture and Jason has and continues to go to bat for me with them. Thank you Jason for speaking with my adjusters and submitting cam reports.

Jason and his team repaired my roof and used a black step flashing to blend in with the shingles and siding. They did a great job fixing the leak and they even resealed the chimney flashing and checked the rest of the roof for other wear and tear issues.

Austin and Jose installed my solar panels. My house doesn’t have attic access so Jose concealed conduit to tie my panels together. He did a great job keeping that invisible from the front of the house. Thanks guys!

I initially heard of YellowBall when I sold a truck camper to one of their employees. It was a complex sale, requiring several meetings and a fair bit of cooperative labor, and I was very impressed with Ryan's attitude and professionalism. So, when I ran into Tim Sain while he was manning a booth for YellowBall at a solar fair, and he also impressed me with his friendliness and knowledge, I decided to have them come out for a site visit. Tim immediately saw a siting solution that another company had missed/refused to consider, and offered a clear explanation of the various financing possibilities, so off we went. The panel installation was quick and neat, and the one miscommunication glitch that came up was very quickly remedied. The electrician was the second one I have ever seen in my fifty years around the construction business who left no mess behind him. A minor computer/app issue was quickly fixed (thanks, Gabe!), a small afterthought/upgrade was handled instantly (and in terrible weather), and right now, even under hazy skies, I'm producing far more power than I'm using. I am a happy proponent of photovoltaic systems in general and of YellowBall in particular. Do it.

Yellow ball did my house in Billings and did my house in Frannie, Wyoming. They did an awesome job. In Frannie and Billings They installed two batteries which I plan on expanding to four. Everything is working awesome. Hardest part was working with utility companies in Frannie Wyoming. Northwestern in Billings was a much easier. I would recommend yellow ball. They were experts. They did the job and made things look very work with my generac generator. I will be using them again for additional battery installs.

Tim Sain, my salesman and direct contact thru the process, was great. Every step in the process was covered by a fantastic staff member. First contact to final install was easy. Test the competitors, but yellowtail was efficient, effective, and cost justified. Yellowball is well rated and respected for a reason.

I worked with Lisa at Yellowball for my solar power system, and it was a good experience. Their price was competitive, they were very fast and smooth with installation, and Lisa was on top of the paperwork. My system went online in the fall and I did not have the opportunity to bank the summer power, so their rainy day fund will help with electric bills through the first winter.

The team in Billings hung with me through several issues with the financing company that was on the western part of the state and I am located in the north eastern corner of the state. They made multiple trips six hours away and the installation was very well done, and I am very happy with the service and set up and their diligence in following through to get things pushed through for financing.

Let me add context for this one star experience.
I contacted YellowBall to come out and do an inspection on my roof. Initially they were prompt at responding back and even came out the same day to look at the roof and give me a quote. After that it was downhill.

The day Jason was supposed to show up at my house to go over the roof with my insurance guy he didn't show, call, or anything. I called the main office multiple times and they kept hanging up on me. Finally I emailed Jason twice and after 20 minutes he finally called my phone. Said he was sick and couldn't make it and that my insurance inspector can figure it out.

Yellowball dropped the ball and failed. They couldn't even bother to send someone else out or even tell me that "oh hey we can't make it on this day can we reschedule?". Why would I hire someone who can't even show up to work and just leaves me hanging? STOP CALLING MY PHONE YELLOWBALL and quit leaving those stupid fliers on my door. I will not hire you or recommend you to anyone.

Solar system has been working perfect since install. Install was quick, easy and painless . The panels are practically unnoticeable from the street, partially due to where they sit and where my roof faces, and they are very low profile.

If I ever move into a new house I'll use YellowBall for a new system, no questions about it

They were very friendly, patient, and helpful. They stuck with me while I worked to secure financing. Then when my roof needed replaced prior to solar instillation they worked with me to get a claim in with my insurance, which was a process. Through all of that they were in constant contact with the insurance to try and get as much as they could covered under the claim. They tore off and installed the roof in a day and did a terrific job. The solar went up over a couple of days. The only real waiting periods have been for the permits and such with northwestern energy. That part they only have so much control over but are open and honest with the process with dealing with northwest. Definitely would work with them again in the future! Everyone along the way has been very helpful and knowledgeable!

From start to finish, we had full support of their staff and follow up tech support. Competitive, and good value we have off grid capability if we choose or the ability to backfeed with our co-op and net zero metering. It took a minute to work through programming for our system, but it operates perfectly. The install went smoothly and they handled all permits and co-op agreements.... We also liked their warranty and being a roofing company too, if we ever have an insurance claim for hail, they'll be a one stop shop to take of all our needs. All the materials they supply are U.S. made and qualify for the current 30% rebate from the feds...a big bonus!

The installation crew was very professional. They kept us thoroughly informed at every step of the way. There were some delays because of cold and flu season, but, again, they kept us constantly informed. Any difficulties that surfaced during installation were quickly and professionally resolved. We have a tile roof, which complicated installation, and the installers made simple work of the job. A National solar installation company previously backed out of the job because of the tile roof. We couldn’t be happier with the results!

Good team! From first contact, to project completion they have been very courteous and helpful. Estimate was done quickly and everything explained clearly. Questions were answered quickly. The longest wait was on NWE getting the agreements processed and meter changed.

After receiving bids from other solar companies, a friend suggested YellowBall. Justice and Cyrus visited and gave us an extremely competitive bid for both our home and my mom's.

The process was simple and low pressure. Everyone we interacted with from YellowBall was friendly and knowledgeable in their product and the installation steps.

The actual installation was much easier and faster than I expected. Our home took 26 panels. My mom's took 9. Hers were installed in only a couple hours one afternoon. Ours took a bit longer, mostly due to having to drop wiring through three separate attics and also drying the roof after the previous day's snow.

The installation crew was efficient, friendly, and courteous. They went above and beyond in keeping the mess from insulation from the attic to a minimum and picking up behind themselves.

Cyrus (our sales contact) and the office staff kept us in the loop the entire process, answering every question knowledgeably and thoroughly.

The only letdown in the process (and 100% NOT YellowBall’s fault) is waiting on Northwestern Energy to switch out our meters for Netmeter meters. We're still waiting after more than three weeks.
