I would like to share our amazing experience with Big River Builders. We have primarily worked with Todd Hunter who has remodeled and also added on significant new construction to our home. We wish every homeowner could have such a talented craftsman and project manager as Todd.
Todd expects nothing less than perfection from himself and his team, Luis and Rigo. Perfect is my favorite word especially in construction and that is very hard if not impossible to come by.
Todd is immaculate in his work. If you have something challenging or difficult, bring it on. That makes Todd very happy. He loves to create beautiful solutions and creations and he made us marvel at the incredible job he did.
We have built a couple of homes in other states and it is difficult to find someone with the workmanship and ownership that he puts into everything he does.
Here in Utah ( oh how we love Utah, we are just a few minutes away from the Park City area, and it is so gorgeous) we have worked with Todd and his team on 3 major projects now, one all new construction, two large home remodels and addition of new construction, a large driveway and beautiful barn, and could not be happier. We can always count on Todd to deliver a beautiful job. In addition to his workmanship and managerial attributes, he is extremely professional, easy to work with, kind, a good sense of humor, a good listener, and has a strong value system. His team, Luis and Rigo are very artistic as well and hard working.

You earned much more including our trust and repeat business. No one else comes close.

We have done many renovations over the years, some major, and Big River Builders is by far the best company ever with whom to work. They are organized, professional, and excellent problem solvers, which is the most important skill in renovations. They have a great crew, some of whom have spent alot of time in our house. They also seem to have priority with excellent subcontractors, who move projects along quickly. We have done now 4 projects with Big River and are very pleased.

Working with Big River Builders has been great experience. They are clear communicators, detail oriented and locally based. Their team brings a collective wealth of knowledge to the table which they share generously.

We were fortunate to have found Big River Builders to lead the extensive remodel of our mountain home in Park City. They were very responsive to our needs, creative problem solvers, easy to work with, and made every effort to meet deadlines. They also have a bench of highly qualified subcontractors that they can summon on short notice. Very highly recommended.

When I had a fire sprinkler break and flood at my home that destroyed 2/3 of my home, I asked Scott to lead the rebuild. He was meticulous, efficient, and honest. He used the Builder Trend Application, so I knew exactly what was happening at all times. The final product of my rebuild was an example of his perfectionism.

We started with a "wish" for a backyard entertainment space that would flow logically from our existing home design. Scott and his team helped us refine our vision into designs and plans, and then executed on a super high quality deck and redesign project that has completely changed how we use our home. I recommend Big River to anyone who asks.

Scott is the consummate professional. His communication skills, and his scope of home building knowledge is unmatched in my opinion. If you demand something to be done right the first time, go with Scott and his team. You won't be disappointed.

Scott Johnson and Big River Builders is the top of the top when it comes to custom home building! I have built and remodeled quite a few homes and my experiences with Scott are by far the best of my career. He worked with me from the start alongside the architect to design and build a beautiful house within my budget. The quality that Scott and his team produced far outweighs any project I have done with other builders and did so while always being sensitive to controlling cost and meeting budget. I can't say enough about how thoughtful Scott is around quality, making sure that every little thing comes out perfect. I would use Big River again in a heartbeat!

Worked with Scott and company recently on a major home remodel and had a great experience. Very impressed with his professional yet cordial demeanor, and that of his team. All contract work was handled as planned, within budget, and on schedule. Very pleased with the great lengths taken to keep construction site tidy and to minimize the impact of the project while we resided in place. Couldn't be happier with their work -- are planning on working with Big River Builders again this spring on a second project.

We employed Scott Johnson of Big River Builders to address a series of issues on our property. These entailed replacing windows, patching and painting drywall, re-grouting tile, replacing floor tiles, resurfacing and refurbishing old outdoor decks, replacing toilets, removing and replacing part of a garage floor surface and a series of other smaller jobs. I cannot say enough good things about Scott and his crew. He is experienced, wise and knows his business. He was able to repeatedly advise us on how to save money and produce a better result. He is a great communicator and has a crew of workers who match his knowledge and high standards of work. Scott does a great job of keeping track of expenses and giving his customers a detailed accounting of materials used and hours employed. I would heartily recommend him for any construction job, big or small. Scott is a professional who orchestrates great work at a fair price and in a timely fashion. I could not ask for more. If the need should arise, I will hire him again.

SKJ Custom Builders was wonderful to work with on my office remodel. There were very few surprises during this project because Scott's bid was so thorough and precise. James, the project supervisor, was critical to making the process successful and as stress-free as possible. He understood what was important to me regarding cost, functionality, design and weighed all decisions through that lens, all while keeping me very well informed along the way. Not to mention, he's just a super pleasant, likeable guy to work with. They also collaborated well with the interior designer I used. I now have a gorgeous office space that I love working in!
