Mark with big country home inspections did a great job on my new home purchase home inspection. He checked every single outlet light switch crack and crevice. Mark has been doing this a long time and knows what to and not to look for. After the inspection he broke down what he found and what he expected to find with the age of the home. The report was detailed with photos and explanations of each article of issue. I highly recommend big country and Mark himself as an inspector.

If I could give zero stars I would. Used them recently on a house with an old roof. They inspected it and said that is was good for 3-5 years and not vulnerable to water or leaking. Literally two weeks after closing a light rain came and the roof immediately leaked in at least four separate locations. I went up and saw massive cracks all over the roof that a three year old couldn’t miss let alone a “professional” inspector. Don’t waste your money or trust these guys.

My agent set me up with this company for my home inspection summer of 2022. He was very charismatic, said that it was a great house with wonderful bones, and reported the roof looked to be about 3 years old. But I had 2 big leaks in the spring of 2023. Turns out it’s much older, and has a some big installation issues. So now I will be buying a new roof.

My agent gave me Marks info with big praises as I was looking to support a local small business and after working with him I have nothing but great things to say. I booked him about a month out for a very specific inspection window required by my builder. He was on on time, focused, and had my inspection to me by end of day. I felt very comfortable working with him during COVID as he wore proper gear, was extremely respectful, and didn’t let it hinder his work. 10/10 will be recommending him to anyone who asks and using his services when we purchase again. Bonus points: His prices were great.

So this is mine and my husbands first time buying a home. We were given a very short period to get a property inspection done. First of all Mark got back to me very quickly and coordinated a time with me and my husband and relived that level of stress. The property inspection was great, Mark talked to us throughout the process and even showed and explained very thoroughly what he was checking and looking for. He also was very detailed on what the inspection included and the cost, made it very easy for us to pay. Mark is hands down amazing. One of the nicest guys we have met. I would highly recommend him.
