Very professional. Ido listened to my thoughts, concerns, and what I needed done. Their designer, Tomoko, who met with me was a gem. She listened and shared her professional thoughts and ideas. Once the demo and work began the communications continued. The contractor, Jun, and his workers all worked so very hard at completing the project. They were very neat, conscientious, and thorough.
The work I had done was a tub to walk-in shower conversion. It was a costly investment, for me, however it was the best estimate for all of the work I wanted done.
Beyond Builders met my expectations and erased all my concerns. I highly recommend them, they're very professional from start to completion.

Initial consultation was good, friendly people that we engaged with, but they wouldn't send the quote after the initial consult without meeting, which I found ludicrous.

I'm one of those people that likes to look through big money decisions on my own, and write down my questions, etc. and they flat out refused to send me the quote ahead of the follow up call. I wish I had known that when I called them for a quote, because I would saved us both some time.

We couldn’t be happier with our new bathroom. The remodeling team was efficient, skilled, and kept us informed throughout the process.

When money is tight but you still want to help anyway you can! Thank you for all you do to help our furry friends!

Payment & Delays
We paid 95% of the total payment, after which progress on the remaining work significantly slowed down. While Beyond Builders described the remaining tasks as quick fixes, they did not follow through, leading to ongoing delays.

Payment Timing & Clarification
There was no intentional delay in our payments. We communicated that payments would be made after confirming the completed work. Our management team inspected the work, requested necessary updates, and once those updates were made, we processed the payment. Our realtor and property management company can witness this process.

Electrical & Safety Issues
After hiring electricians to review the work, they identified serious wiring issues, raising concerns about potential fire hazards. As a result, we now have to redo portions of the electrical work to ensure safety.

Additional Costs & Rental Delays
Due to these unexpected issues, we have incurred extra expenses beyond our initial budget. Additionally, delays in completing the work have affected our ability to rent the property, leading to financial impact.

Caution: Issues with Beyond Builders – Poor Communication & Project Management
Based on our company’s experience, we would not recommend Beyond Builders for renovation projects. Throughout our engagement, we encountered significant challenges related to communication, project management, and overall work quality.

Concerns Regarding Furniture Orders
During the project, we identified discrepancies in the handling of furniture orders. Initially, we received a receipt for two specific sofa beds on December 15th. However, on December 22nd, a different version of the sofas was ordered, and the original order was canceled. This change was not communicated to us at the time, and we only became aware of it later. This raised concerns about transparency in their procurement process.

Communication & Project Delays
We faced several communication and management issues, including:

Lack of Clear Updates:
Despite multiple requests, we did not receive consistent progress reports or detailed images of the work. Updates were infrequent and often unclear.
Unresolved Issues: A report listing unfinished work was submitted on January 7th, but we did not receive a response for two weeks. When we followed up, we were informed that they were "waiting for a review," though we had not been notified that the project was considered complete.

Project Delays: We later discovered that access for their work had expired, causing unnecessary delays—an issue that was not communicated to us in advance.

Payment Process Concerns
Beyond Builders’ approach to payments raised concerns. They requested payments before we could properly review the work and, at times, indicated that work would not proceed unless immediate payments were made, even when key tasks were incomplete.

Management & Oversight Challenges
We also became aware that the CEO, Victor, and the project manager, Ido, are brothers-in-law. In our experience, when close family members hold key leadership positions within the same company, it can present challenges in ensuring accountability and objective decision-making.

Quality Concerns
The quality of work did not meet our expectations. Several tasks were left incomplete or not executed to the standard we anticipated. While Beyond Builders markets itself as a professional contractor, our experience suggested a lack of attention to detail and a tendency to cut corners.

Decision to Discontinue the Project
Due to ongoing concerns with communication, management, and overall execution, our company made the decision to end our contract with Beyond Builders and engage a different contractor to complete the remaining work.

While other clients may have had different experiences, our company cannot recommend Beyond Builders based on the challenges we encountered. If you are considering hiring them, we strongly advise maintaining detailed records, requesting clear documentation at every stage, and ensuring all agreements are in writing

I can’t express how happy we are with not only the work but the service! We had a small project but the attention to every detail was amazing! We were kept up to date with every aspect of the work. I want to give a shout out to David and Zai for all the planning, Carl and CJ for the hard labor, but especially Peter, he went above and beyond what we expected, and Chasen who worked late to get the job done, even came on a Saturday to finish the job so we could use our shower earlier!

They did our bathroom remodeling including ,new floor, new light with ventilator, installed a tub and tiled the walls, thanks guys.

My Master Bathroom needed work, and I chose to have a partial remodel, so I called the company. They arrived the next day and did an amazing job.

This is a follow up review for Beyond builders.
Had more work done on my kitchen by them. It was once again a great professional experience and great value for the price.
These guys really go above and beyond.

Everything from day one to project completion went well and smoothly. Day one meeting Kevin (Sr. project manager) Maya (designer) explaining what and how we wanted things to be and when we wanted the project to start due to vacation plans were not a problem for them. Maya kept in contact with us via email and in person to show products she selected and was receptive to our wants and made changes as requested. A couple of weeks before project start we met Carlos (site project manager) we sat and discussed how and what we wanted and the start date, and he explained to us what to expect during the renovation. On the project start date Carlos introduced Ming (project foreman) and his crew and the project started. Workers were polite, friendly and courteous. All through the project if they had a question on how we wanted something to be done they would ask. They cleaned up everything daily, they advised us when they were done for the day and advised when they were returning the next. Upon completion of the project Ming asked us to inspect the project and area to make sure everything was as we wanted and cleaned as the day the project started (it was actually cleaner). Final inspection with Carlos went really well, deficiencies he and I noted were fixed on the spot, deficiencies noted days later were corrected within days. The wife and I are very pleased with the work done by Beyond Builders specifically Kevin, Maya, Carlos and Ming and his team.

I had my bath tub replaced with a walk-in shower. the work was performed by Beyond Builders. They did excellent work in a reasonable period of time, one week. The project manager and design engineer were very helpful in both designing and getting the project done. the worker were very knowledgeable and skilled in doing their jobs. They covered the floors where they would be working to prevent messing up the carpeting. They removed the bath tub in a very short period of time. they replaced the wall tile, installed new floor tile and a seat in the shower. The also installed two grab bars. I was very impressed with their work. They did an excellent job.
I would not hesitate to recommend this company, they do excellent work.

Beyond Builders was courteous, efficient, and highly-attentive to details! They worked quickly in a tight space and the finished product came out wonderfully!

From concept drawing (Thanks Maya) to install, Ido and his team are true professionals. They truly take pride in their work and are meticulous with details. No such thing as "I hope they don't notice" with these guys. They call out their own errors or flaws and fix them, without questions. What I really appreciate is the check in with the homeowner as they work to ensure homeowner satisfaction!

Met with David James, he is very professional and did an amazing job of listening to what I wanted and is awesome in what he does. David did his his due diligence and was very knowledgeable regarding my home renovation. I would highly recommend him and his company. What an amazing young man! Carlos and all the guys were great on our project. Very responsive throughout and saw the project all the way through.

I live with and care for my cousin, and he started having difficulty getting in/out of the tub, so I searched for a contractor, and Beyond Builders, LLC, was the only one that actually called and followed up with me. They worked hard to complete our bathroom, including making a new shower with beautiful tile, adding 5 safety bars, floating sink and new medicine cabinet; even worked through the weekend. I found out later that they DON'T usually work weekends, but they did for us, as our need was urgent. They really care about people, and doing their best work. Our bathroom is now perfect!

Recently worked with Ido and Maya on a backsplash design for my kitchen. Maya listened tentatively to my likes and dislikes and returned with a few sample drawings. After making the selection Ido scheduled the install. I have to say, the outcome was far beyond my expectations (even with drawings). Thank you team Beyond Builders. I am thoroughly impressed with how much work you put into making your customers dreams a reality.

We absolutely love our new kitchen! We moved into our home and knew from the beginning that the kitchen was going to need to be redone. We had high hopes of converting the space into our dream kitchen, with lots and lots of storage and counter space. After interviewing quite a few contractors, we met Ido from Beyond Builders and we knew we had our match. Ido was amazing from moment one. He helped us through every piece of this construction puzzle which was especially necessary since we have never embarked on a project like this before. Ido was there every step of the way to make sure we were getting the kitchen design that we wanted, and he was always 100% supportive and available. Every job will have an issue or snag or miscommunication and single time something came up, Ido and Beyond Builders were there to correct, adjust, adapt, and make sure that everyone was happy. We would love to work with Ido and Beyond Builders again on future projects.

I met with Ido, and I found him to be smart, caring and honest. He was easy to work with. I will call on him for all my building needs.

I reached out to them for a small but seriously overdue project. They responded quickly, scheduled the job for the following day, arrived early, and completed it quickly, all for a very good price. Senior Project Manager Chris Pagulayan and I really hit it off, and I'm scheduling more projects with them in the near future. Her team, led by Rodney with the assistance of Josh, were in-and-out with so little noise I didn't even know they finished and left. Definitely recommend to those looking for a full-service "friend and family" type contractor.
