Best Choice Construction LLC

My family went through Best Choice Construction to redo the roof of our house to help the resale value last summer/fall - ONE OF OUR WORST CHOICES EVER! I am disappointed I have to give them one star to write this review. It took them two-plus weeks to finally come and start working, the crew lead was (no exaggeration) DEFINITELY on drugs, he would scream at the other worker so loud and rudely, the young man seemed frightened. My mother and I witnessed this man tear our front porch OFF of our house with their lift, throw our potted flowers all about the yard, break the sidewalk and then continue to speak at my mother in a very unprofessional and disrespectful manner, telling her that she should wait for her husband to get home since he is the man of the house and should "make the decisions for the house" because "it is called MANual labor" and "that's what it says in the Bible." We then contacted the contractor and he said that he would pay for the new porch but that he had no one else to finish the roof. So they finished the roof and everything seemed to be fine. Only to find out (during a home inspection) that they did not complete it and in the attic you can see clear daylight coming through, which has now (in the winter months) caused much more damage than the roof had before they touched it. When my mother tried reaching out, the man ignored her for 5 days before she threatened legal action and once she had, he finally responded saying that he does not have to respond to anyone, he isn't responsible for the damage, and that he is now in Washington DC so "good luck" doing anything about it. When they had originally damaged our home, they begged us to not write any reviews or report them to Angie's List, and because they had fixed what they damaged - they were OK in our book. But this is too much. Don't give your business to these tweakers :)

By far the worst experience we have had with a contractor. The crew was 3+ weeks late starting the job. They were unsafe, tipped a man lift over in our yard damaging our porch which then had to be replaced totalling over $5000.00. The reason we had the work done was to list our house for sale. We now cannot pass a recent inspection due to the work done by this company. When I attempted to contact them there was no response for days and then finally an unprofessional response saying they are now in Washington DC and good luck getting it fixed. DO NOT USE this company!!!

Great company to work with and they do an excellent job. I requested several quotes from several companies for roof replacement - Best Choice Construction was the most prompt to get me the quote and the price was most competitive around. The work was done nicely. Unfortunately we had some extremely strong winds the day after new shingles were installed and the wind took some of them off. We have informed the owner of Best Choice Construction and they came back the next day to get everything fixed up. Have had no issues since than.
