This is my third lease with Berlin City. The first time I worked with Jeff Croteau - and he was amazing. From the moment that he stepped up to help walk me through the process of leasing a vehicle I have never felt more cared for and comfortable leasing a vehicle. He became a trusted person for me. So, when it was time to lease my next vehicle - during COVID no less - he was right there again helping me through the process. He kept his eyes open and reached out immediately when a vehicle became available. Now, SEVEN years later, I again work with Jeff for my lease. He knew I had wanted to keep my vehicle, but it just wasn't practical. So, he helped me find another vehicle to love. He worked tirelessly to get me into my new Nissan. But he didn't stop there. My husband also needed a vehicle. He had been upside down with his vehicle, but we sold it and used the extra towards the downpayment for my husband's lease. Jeff got both of us the vehicles we wanted and needed in the same day. He worked overtime to make sure we got approved and out the door that night with two new leases. If it wasn't for him, it would never have happened. He is amazing and an asset to BC. A day will come when he is no longer there... but I am so honored and happy to know that he has been my forever guide through three personal leases and another for my husband.

$415 to replace a leaking oil filter and wiped oil off the skid plate. They charged me 3 hours of labor to do this. Very dishonest and inefficient service department. Truck was pulled in early for a 9am appointment and not on the lift until 10am. Will not be returning and I do not recommend you take your car here unless you want to get scammed.

The sales team is great! It was one of the least stressful vehicle purchases I’ve ever made and I was blown away with how upfront and honest my salesman, Scott, was. He let me test drive a vehicle I was just a little curious about and he was never pushy about making the sale. That positive experience resonated with me so when I finally decided I needed a new vehicle a few months later, I reached out to Scott and we agreed on a fair out-the-door price weeks before its arrival. Once the vehicle arrived, I was in and out of the dealership within an hour without any surprises or drama. I would buy from Scott again in a heartbeat!

I have bought a Tacoma and a Venza here over the years, and just brought the Venza for service yesterday. I'm on crutches due to ankle surgery, and I was very impressed with how accommodating and caring all the employees were. They are always kind and pleasant, taking time to clearly explain the service they do, answering my questions, etc. But this was an added level of genuine caring that really meant a lot to me.

A former student of mine also works in service, and he took a little time to talk with me and catch up, and it was wonderful to hear how much he enjoys working there and how much he is learning.

Overall, I highly recommend these folks - they are professional, they care about their customers, and they are good, hard working people.

I've been coming here for years! Last 2 service visits I signed a reapair authorization for $96.80 and my credit card got charged $218.73. I called into my service advisor Robert Poulin and have yet to get a call back. I will NOT be returning. 1st time mistake, 2nd time very intentional.

I highly recommend buying your next car here. I spent approximately 4/5 years thinking about and researching what i wanted my next vehicle to be. I went through many iterations, moving from cars to suv's and finally settling on a truck. I eventually narrowed that down to the Tundra and have spent the last 18 months looking at many different models and years, weighing the pros and cons of both the v8 naturally aspirated and the new twin-turbo v6. I finally settled on the newer v6 hybrid Tundra and started my serious search for the perfect match. I came across a couple 1794's and a TRD Pro up at the Toyota Gorham dealership and decided to make a quick trip up to test drive all three, along with a non-hybrid so I could get a feel for the difference. I walked in and met Jeff and immediately told him I wasn't buying that day, which I know salesmen love to hear. Regardless, he was extremely accommodating, even when juggling other customers while trying to find the trucks I was asking to test drive. During my test drives, I fell in love with the 1794 and knew it was the one. I left the dealership that day with an out-the-door price and a handshake, convinced that when I came back, the truck would either be sold or the verbal agreement would be forgotten in favor of a higher price. I could not be more wrong!! On my return 4 days later, they still had the truck saved for me at the price agreed upon. I was in the dealership for an hour and left with my new truck. The process was so easy and everyone was so helpful and kind. I had never considered driving through The Notch to buy a vehicle, but I would absolutely go back for my next car. Scheduled appointment over the phone for a squealing noise. Got there and learned it would be $200 just for a diagnostic. I waited 1hr and 45 mins for them to try and upsell me on stupid stuff like when they do an oil change. Then given a quote of 3,500. I just need new breaks. If I didn't have a 100k warranty I would never step foot in there again.

Fantastic service and Tech work! Just had my 10K service and tire swap on our Tundra, the vehicle is also our camper. Chris (Toyota Tech) did an outstanding job with the 10K and big tire swap. I am very impressed. Lauren (Service Dept) was knowledgeable, answered all my questions effectively and kept me informed during the job. I hope they get some acknowledgements (a raise!) for their fantastic work!

I brought my vehicle in for a cabin filter. It was supposed to take 15 to 30 minutes but it has been almost 2 hours and it is still not done. It is still in the parking lot waiting to be brought in. Even though they knew they needed the part a week and a half ago, they went to get it this morning! This is totally unacceptable. Berlin City Ford was just as long for a leaky valve stem…2 separate visits for over 4 hrs!

I have been getting my Tacoma and Corolla serviced here for 2 years. The service department is friendly. When I walk over to the waiting area, I have looked at new vehicles and thought about maybe trading for one. Never have I been approached or even greeted by a sales representative, even when I've observed them chatting with each other. They don't seem to be enthusiastic about selling vehicles.

Saw a Rav4 2018 for sale and went to look at it, sales guy told me it wasn’t on the lot yet but would be there on Monday. On Monday while on the way to test drive it, a senior sales representative sold it from under the guy who was trying to sell it to me. The guy specifically told me that they refused to give him the keys knowing we were on our way to test drive it. Very unhappy. Our sales representative was a very nice guy all around and would have loved to buy a car through him but after his other representatives played games and took the vehicle I wanted I don’t really want to go back. Had he told me to put a deposit down I would have but I was told it would be there and available on Monday for sure. And I was told that he had it on hold for a test drive so it should not have been able to be sold from under me. Feels fishy that they had the car on Monday at opening but not on Saturday at 4:30 when we left all thought it was in the inventory listings on the website as for sale there.

I made an appointment online for a recall service for 8 am, the first appointment of the day so that I did not spend too much of the day there. A couple of days before the appointment my change oil light came on so I went online and added an oil change. I arrived at 7:50 am and checked in right at 8 am. After an hour, I noticed my car had not moved, however, several others that came in after me were not outside anymore. I ended up there for 2.5 hours for a battery check and an oil change!! Not impressed with the customer service.

Adam Fontaine was great! He is so dedicated and patient answer all of our questions. We are so glad we got the buy our first car from him. We drive from Haverhill Ma. Adam made it possible for us to take the car same day. If you come across my review don't doubt about going to him. All i have to say about Adam are good things. This was the second vehicle bought from Adam Fontaine and I can't say enough good things about him, and the entire friendly and courteous staff.
First car was bought online (from Connecticut) and second one in person.
I love my new truck and the experience I had; to top it all off, also got a slice of pumpkin pie one of the employees made.

Completely satisfied with my recent car buying experience at Berlin City. I was in search of a car for my 17 year old daughter and was so impressed with our salesman, John Given. He really took the time to help us find the best car to fit my daughter’s needs and once we found the right car John fully explained all the features that the car had to offer to my daughter. It really meant a lot that he took the extra time to help her feel comfortable with her new car and all it’s features. He made the whole process from start to finish a great experience! A++ for John! Pido in finance and Dave in service were also great! Berlin City sure does know how to do it right. Honestly, the best car buying experience I have ever had. Thank you!

This is the buy far the best Toyota dealership in the state.Great customer service.Excelent repair department the recalls were done on my 2003 Corolla.Will be going to this dealership for service if I need to outstanding place.Berlin city Toyota puts value honesty and the customer first.That is rare these days I want to take a moment to thank the repair dept for all your hard work.Thank you so much I greatly appreciated my experience.I will highly recommend this dealership to my friends that own Toyota!

I went in to look at a 2021 Sienna. I was surprised it was there because of the new car shortage but I felt lucky, so I knew that I needed to act fast so we worked on the price and I decided to buy. When my wife and I were looking at it in the lot we noticed it had 161 miles on it. I asked why and the sales manager told me that a friend of his took it for a couple of days. Thats when the lies began. I got the van home and i noticed it had some phone numbers programed in it. I called the numbers to learn that this person had purchased the car but returned it with the 3 day return program. The brakes were grinding and the brake disks were scared from mud and dirt that had got in the calipers. After a week i noticed the paint was full of scratches probably was washed after being covered in mud and not rinsed first. I did confront them when I had all the facts and all they could say is they were sorry that I felt the way I did. Bottom line is avoid this dealer.

For 2nd visit, complained that glove box rattled. Explained that it happened more on the rough roads where I live, 1.5 hours away. Explained that it would stop if glove box was pushed in, as it is loose, or if I left the glove box open. Also Explained that I had tried velcro but it didn't help. And finally explained that it made the same noise whether empty or full. It was in for the 25000 mile service. When they told me it was done, they first said it was the sunglasses in the glass holder above the mirror. I didn't ask them to identify a rattle, I knew without a doubt that it was glove box. I was treated like a fool. Those glasses had only been there a week,, the rattle had been going on a 6 months. Then the gentleman who brought me my keys and paperwork and said they did hear the rattle and they checked the new cars and they were the same. I Explained this rattle is embarrassing and makes this sound like a cheap car. It is a 2020 Rav4 hybrid. I bought every warranty package available believing I would be taken care of. If only Berlin City's service department was as good as it's sales department. I approached my sales person afterwards. He immediately went for a ride with me to try to hear it. As it is worse on rough road, it took a bit but he did hear it and said he would check on it for me. I believe in him and will update this post if this problem is resolved without me having to make another 3 hour round-trip drive. But at this point, I cannot recommend Berlin City Toyota because of their service department. I also plan on getting rid of this car if problem is not solved. The rattle is like the squeak of a Styrofoam box bouncing around, driving me crazy. Oh, and on my paperwork, the person who inspected the car wrote, car is okay. What does okay mean. Is it not in excellent condition, does it need something but is okay for now. So unhappy.

Waited two hours for an oil change. Everyone moves like molasses. When inquired upon my vehicle being out front for 20 minutes to two individuals standing talking to a third employee, a red headed gentleman rolled his eyes and handed me my keys that I already knew were dropped off at the front desk. They then started my paperwork which was obviously not a priority. I was quoted an hour upon arrival, after making an appointment a week in advance. WILL NOT RETURN. Being a local, this is not an uncommon circumstance due to word of mouth to avoid. Go see the Chevy portion of Berlin city if you want things done correctly.

Found what on paper sounded like the exact truck we'd been looking for. Sent a message (after hours) via their website asking for a call first thing in the AM. Received very timely call which was great but then it all went wrong. Husband asked 2 very specific questions - a) What condition is it in and b) Was it previously owned by a smoker/had smoking in it? We informed the employee that we'd be driving a long distance to go see this & didn't want to waste our time. Husband was told by Russell that a) truck was in good, clean condition and b) it was never smoked in. So because we trusted the employee, we told him about what time we'd arrive & drove a little over 2 hours in the rain to check it out & test drive. 5 minutes before we got there & w/in 10 mins of our declared arrival window, we got a call from a salesman wondering when we were going to get there. Felt pushy & unnecessary. Upon arrival, salesman tells us he was only informed of us coming about 10 minutes prior to. We got keys & went outside to check it out. We noted some reasonable wear & tear on the body but also several "larger" issues such as a cracked & very loose RT side fog lamp housing & a scratch down the entire LT side of the bed. Not necessarily deal breakers so we decided to test drive. I opened the door & immediately smelled cigarette smoke as I'm extremely sensitive due to my allergies. I told my husband who stated he couldn't smell it right then as all he could smell was the spray covering it up so I agreed to test drive w/him both to prove the smell & to get out of the eyes of the salesman hovering around us. We drove it a couple of roads over & pulled into a rest area. I immediately turned the AC on full power & opened all of the vents in the front. A bunch of white ash blew out of them. Then I did the same w/the heat & an even stronger cigarette smoke stench filled the truck which my husband definitely smelled. In looking at the rest of the truck interior, we found straw wrappers, everything covered in dust/dirt (seemed like a construction site vehicle w/windows left down) & some smaller issues such as wearing on the seat edges & small stains. We also found a cigarette butt. We put the windows down & drove back to the dealership. We told the salesman about our findings, directed him to look at specific areas in the vehicle which were still covered w/white ash & even gave him 1 of the straw wrappers & the cigarette butt for which he apologized (didn't feel genuine) but then just stood there staring at us w/a, "So what do you want me to do about it?" sort of look. Husband expressed extreme frustration & disappointment w/having specifically asked about these 2 major things, stated our long drive time, & the fact that we wasted not only a whole day but that Russell had been dishonest & that the salesman didn't even know the truck because he wasn't given enough notice. Salesman apologized again & offered a gift card to fill our gas tank which we declined because we'd just filled it in order to make the 2+ hr drive home. Then he gave us a $25 gift certificate for a restaurant in town. In looking at their menu online, that would've bought 1 appetizer & a drink so not great but what got us was that it wasn't even open so it was a totally useless gift card! After a long drive home feeling extremely frustrated, disappointed & lied to, Husband receives an email that evening from Russell who states he has NO CLUE what went wrong w/our visit, he sat in the vehicle & couldn't smell any smoke & he's "very sensitive" to that scent, & continued on with other comments that came across as very condescending & like he was trying to bait us into arguing w/him. We didn't reply but it was the last straw for us. We will NEVER do business w/this dealership & would NEVER recommend them to anyone. Would give zero stars but I had to choose 1.

i had appointment for winter tires wich were included in the negotiation of my 2020 rav4 xle clearly written( studded winter tires ) i asked to see tires before they install...they were non studdable tires ..they then agreed to install studded ones but i was there for 2hours and 30 minutes i must specify that i got there 15minutes early but they brought car in right away. 2hours 15 minutes is not acceptable for 4 tires to be changed on a vehicle with 3500miles

I can't stress enough how great these guys were. I went in pretty sceptical as to whether or not we would find a new AWD or 4WD vehicle that would fit our budget and seat our growing family. It took a few hours, and I was starting to doubt we would be able to find something new, and was thinking maybe we would have to go the used route again, which I was very reluctant to do. Tim did not let us down. He was able to find the perfect match for us. Having a safe reliable vehicle is absolutely necessary in the north country. I am extremely grateful to Tim, and the staff at berlin city Toyota for helping our family achieve that.

Berlin City Toyota is the best dealership in new England. Best purchase (second best was Hyundai Saco no longer in existence) and best service. We were in and out quickly and stress free.

I went in for an airbag recall. 3 stars for not trying to take advantage of me (I'm a young female, had some people in a Toyota dealership in Florida make up car problems.) Very friendly staff. HOWEVER when I got my car back there were grease smudges all over where they removed the passenger panel that they didnt bother to clean up and an unidentified brown substance all over the front passenger seat and in between the seats. I just had to spend 40 minutes cleaning all of that up. I'm not pleased.

I walked in to shop for a vehicle. Three employees just stared at me. I felt super awkward and mentioned I was shopping for a vehicle. They continued to stare at me for about 5 seconds and then the receptionist said, "try the next showroom over we're all busy." The other showroom had one person in it who was with a customer. I'm fine with a busy situation but being stared at for 10+ seconds without a word made me feel they didn't want my business. Maybe I'm wrong but it was certainly awkward.

I was here during 2005, when I was a child. We are from Massachusetts, but my mother got an amazing 04 4Runner Sport marked down from $44K to $37K w/o Sales Tax too or Exercise tax to a local level. This lot has really good negotiators. Unfortunately this will not happen for us again but hey, a good dealership is a good dealership, especially when local! Have fun, fellow Americans of NH ;-)
