good experience, good sales in guy in Will who knew his stuff, purchased a new GMC Terrain, great vehicle so far, just one negative........over $40,000 cash spent, and we didn't even get an Owners Manual for the vehicle - total bullshit on the part of General Motors, stopped us from buying the 2nd new vehicle which we had planned

Will Eason was great! We did the whole transaction remotely and Will was responsive and genuine. He coordinated delivery of the vehicle (~450 miles away) the next day! The paper work when the delivery driver arrived was straight forward and easy.

Our experience was lead by Will. Will was easy to communicate with, knew the product and was eager to find answers if per chance he did not immediately know the answer. He was polite, respectful and diligent in all aspects of his service. In like manner, everyone else we, including Will, encountered during the period of time of our purchase were professional, knowledgeable and very helpful. 5 stars to all.

Staff very nice.
Sals department amazing
Service horrible. schedule an appointment for my truck for a gas leek. Was told 2 time that someone was going to call me to see if it was under warranty never happened. I go to my appointment to get it fixed am told that your hourly rate is an astonishing 185 and at that point didn’t care just wanted my truck fixed. Waited a hour lady says I’m all set then starts to tell me other stuff that is wrong with my truck that I did no asked to be looked at but didn’t care thinking my truck was fixed but was then informed the it was not fixed and that you didn’t have that part asked if it was safe to drive was told they didn’t know on top of the repair being 1300 for a part that cost 80 very sickening and was privileged to hear other customers in the waiting area with the same views.

One star is one too many. Seems how my father is horrible with technology, I’ll happily write his review for him. My father had his truck towed to this location TWO WEEKS AGO (5/18) and STILL does not have it back (5/30) with no timeframe of receiving it back. Initially, he was told they would be bringing it in for diagnostic on 5/20, didn’t happen. They brought it in on 5/21 and claimed to have found the problem and would have the parts installed the next day. Wrong. He called on Wednesday afternoon, they told him they didn’t order any parts and are needing to diagnose the problem still. Little suspicious here and tells me they don’t know what they’re doing. He called the rest of the week to check on the progress, was denied a rental and they told him they aren’t sure when he will have it back. The service department is giving him the run around on what’s wrong with it and is failing to communicate properly with the progress. He has reached out to check on the progress multiple times with no response as well. Also, they are REFUSING to give him a rental vehicle, STILL. TWO WEEKS into having the truck and refusing to assist with providing a vehicle. Now he and my mother are needing to share the only other vehicle they have when they both work. This is not acceptable practice by any means. The lack of communication, poor service, and refusing to offer any sort of assistance is beyond unprofessional. If he had known how terrible the service at this dealership really was he would have paid the extra money to have it towed to the dealership he purchased it from in Southern NH despite living in the north country. At least they know how to treat their customers properly and provide them with what they need. Absolutely disgraceful.

Engine light had come on which on star said emission then later left. Apparently odd code at dealership which they attributed to maybe even some bad gas but at the same time they rotated my tires which I would otherwise would have had to make another appt Nice of them

I had found a terrain here in Vermont and the dealership that I was working with just didn’t feel right to me. A close acquaintance of mine recommended Berlin city Gorham NH to me so I checked out their website and contacted Zack. He exceeded My expectations with his customer service, his willingness to meet my needs, attention to detail and always making me feel like a customer and not just another sale are a few great qualities he has. He even followed up with me after my purchase . He took personal phone calls from me to answer questions i had and helped walk me through some difficulties I was having with a rebate. I will not purchase my cars anywhere else because of Zack . Well done Berlin city!

I went in due to a CEL being on. Had it diagnosed and repaired. I was informed that the part I needed was backordered and no time frame as to when it would be in.
My vehicle is less than 3 years old however I do drive a lot of miles for work. I have just turned 100k. I asked the dealership for help & was denied, chevy has yet to give me a response. The issue I had is a know issue with the small engine turbo, freezing due to condensation in cold Temps.
All said and done I had to rent a vehicle for 6 days from the dealership so I could get to & from work due to the part not being available
I feel I should get some sort of compensation for a know issue

These guys sold me a used Chevy Silverado 1500 that had big gouges in the paint on the passenger side door panel and didn't tell me about it up front. Not a word! They had actually covered it up with black polish or something comparable so that it matched the paint to hide it entirely. I actually didn't notice until I took it through the carwash soon afterwards and the polish came off to show bare metal. Wasn't impressed! The sales team had a real sleazy feel to them as well. Not about the customer at all, obviously. I would steer clear of this place if I were you! Consider yourself warned.

Honestly, my experience was horrible. I went there to go get my car serviced for a tire alignment and wheel balance. I sat there for almost 2 hours before they even brought my car inside on the lift— they then tried to toy around with me with parts. They said I needed parts they later realized I already on the car. Even though the mechanics could not figure out how to get my tires properly aligned the service manager (Brad Bartke) wanted to charge me for it. When I expressed how ridiculous I thought it was that they were going to charge me for an alignment that they could not complete he threatened to charge me even more for additional fake labor time. The guy ran over and slammed my door so hard that there’s permanent damage (and there could be more permanent damage to my vehicle). When I tried to open my door to inspect the damage he tried to shove me out of my own car. My honest opinion is this guy should be fired and should not be hired back at any professional business

I had a bad vibration in the brake pedal, and the dash showed "Service brake assist". I brought it in, and they found that a vacuum hose was unplugged. Great! ...until they told me that I needed $1,100 in brake work. They said that due to "rust on my rotors", I would fail my upcoming state inspection. First off, we're in New England. All vehicles are going to have rust on the rotors. Second, the pads have plenty of life left to them. They wanted to replace and brakes and pads regardless. They are literally trying to trick people into work they don't need, and scaring them with the idea that you might "fail your inspection".

On top of that, the service tech continually spoke over me. They also very clearly didn't even test the vehicle after they were done. They were claiming the vibration was due to rust on the rotors. Funny enough, the vibration was gone when the brake assist was working correctly again! On the paperwork and according to the service desk, that vibration definitely was rust though... A quick test ride in the parking lot would have told them that. Obviously they didn't do that, or were just committed to trying to sell me stuff I didn't need.

This is the type of place that I would never let my mother or anyone I care about go to. They didn't even test their fix, and they straight up lied to try to sell me something I didn't need. Fortunately for me, I knew better... but let's be honest, I'm not their target: they're preying on people who don't know better. Steer clear of this place unless you're absolutely out of options.

Update: the gm responded to this review over a week ago saying they'd follow up with me, but they haven't.

Purchasing our truck was ok, everything went well. We waited for a couple of months for the plates to arrive, finally called DMV. We weren't getting the registration we paid for because we don't live in NH. A dealership that's been around as long as they have should know that. I'd really like my money back.

My vehicle was towed in because of motor failure, after they looked at it told me they would have new motor installed in a week or 2. After 2 weeks I called to check in, they tell me that it also need a new turbo... so I purchased a turbo and had it expedited to get it there as quickly as possible. After another week hoping the vehicle was ready, I stopped in to check on it. They then told me the bolts that hold the injectors in are not adequate enough for my new engine and they cant find anything that will work. So I ordered some heavier bolts myself and brought them in the next day... meanwhile my truck is just sitting in the parking lot... at this point it has been a month and I don't have anything to tow trailers with. I asked them if they could get those bolts in and get me back up and running. They said yes they will get to it, another week passes, and they never called me to tell me what's going on, I always had to call or stop in to find out what was taking so long. Finally after they finished it up they said it was ready for pickup but I'd have to drive it like a grandma or else the bolts will stretch and it wouldn't run. So I paid over $22k plus the turbo that I bought and took it 40 miles down the road driving as soft as I can, and it broke down again on the side of the interstate and had to be towed to a local shop... needless to say I'm very disappointed and will not be going here for service ever again!!!

Terrible service experience. Brought my GMC terrain in for an oil change ($90), tire rotation ($135) and alignment ($135). I asked them to look at the sunroof which broke shortly after I bought it (First time using it, got stuck halfway), they wanted to charge me $160 just to LOOK at it. Ripoff. Won’t be taking my vehicle here anymore, I will find somewhere decently priced and who care about their customers.

Also took them 3 hours to change oil and rotate tires, come on..

Do not go here! Brad "the service manager" has terrible customer service and a poor attitude. He lied right on the phone and said he told me prices when he didn't. Then they proceeded to do the services without giving a quote or telling me any prices. $179 an hour for labor. $250 to install a software update that I probably should have done myself. They had the car so long cause "they went to lunch". Bunch of fools.

I received a service notice N202324251 to replace roof air bags on my 2015 GMC. I made an appointment and arrived to find that the warranty work would take four hours to do. Maybe I am at fault for not asking but was surprised that the service tech that I talked with to make the appointment did not make me aware of the time needed to complete the work. I live an hour away so need to arrange for a ride instead of sitting in the waiting room for that amount of time. Adding to the issue was that it took a technician about three hours to do a state inspection and balance and rotate the tires. THATS SEVEN HOURS! I understand that quality work takes time. I strongly feel that you should have told me when I made the initial appointment for yesterday that I was told that the work schedule time was going to take seven hours! That is certainly more time than anyone should have to sit in the waiting area. Because of this misunderstanding I had to schedule a second appointment next week to get the recall work done.

Easy every step of the way, from scheduling the service appointment to having the service done. Got my car back ahead of schedule even! Very satisfied!

***modified - flash forward five years - not so happy with the service department - have scheduled a recall repair to be done on my Honda - bought there and to date - 3 appointments scheduled and they called and cancelled each one before the appointment (over the course of 2 years) I asked them to call me to schedule the appointment when the parts are available and still no phone call - very disappointed with the service team. Still no repair on the recall - going to look for another dealer to get car fixed and don't plan on buying there again!
