Mike and his Berkshire Roofing team did a portion of our roof to prepare for solar installation. The job was done in one day! Couldn’t believe that in one day they removed old materials, installed new shingles, replaced heating wires and cleaned the front and back yards up so well the dog never found so much as a stray piece of shingle to chew on! Mike was professional and his team is exceptionally hard working. Highly recommend his work.

We are doing a roof project every year for several years at our small condominium community Mike just finished year 2 and the work has been great He kept us informed; the crew was great (including the dog ) and everything was cleaned up perfectly.

Berkshire Roofing did an excellent job for our total roof replacement. We had an urgent need, as our roof was leaking, and they found a way to squeeze us into their very busy schedule. Their team was extremely professional and skilled. We were very impressed with the attention to detail and expertise they demonstrated. They replaced our skylights, and when it turned out that the new ones didn't come in the same sizes as our existing ones, they were able to cut new openings without damaging the interior of the home. We have worked with several roofers over the years, and Berkshire Roofing is by far the best. I strongly recommend them.

I own a commercial building in southern Berkshire County upon which Mike installed a 4,000 SF metal roof. Mike and his crew were fast, efficient, professional and the work was executed with a high standard of workmanship. This was a sizable project that could have been quite disruptive but the work site was safe and well maintained and I didn't receive one complaint from a tenant. I can't recommend Berkshire Roofing more highly and would not hesitate to use them again in the future.

Berkshire Roofing did an excellent job replacing our old cedar shingled roof with new cedar. It was a large job, but they completed on schedule and on budget. Their workmanship was of high quality, and their work practices were of the highest professional standards. Our property was neater and clean after they left than before they came.

We are an operating business, and they executed their work in a manner that entailed no adverse impact on our operations whatsoever, and were very responsive and flexible with our requests to accommodate the various special needs that arise from work being done while operations are ongoing.

Mike and his crew recently rebuilt the badly deteriorated roof (and repointed two brick chimneys) on our nearly 300 year old saltbox house in Great Barrington. It was a complicated job—cedar and metal, odd angles softened by centuries of settling and and wear—and their work was exceptional. They were the first to respond to our inquires (by weeks), their bid was competitive, they showed up when they said they would and finished the job in a week. Our house is transformed and we couldn’t be more pleased.

Contacted Mike about a full roof replacement and skylight removal. He was responsive and honest about cost and timeline. His crew arrived on time (with a great dog) and completed the whole job in only one day, half the expected time. The day after I noticed an issue where the old skylight was covered and within in hour of reaching out to Mike, two of his guys came by and fixed the problem. So thankful to Mike for getting a solid roof over our heads and it looks great. Thanks, Mike and team!

Mike is very easy to deal with. The contract was readable and easy to understand. He sent a highly competent crew to do the work as described and stopped by several times to check as the work was being done. The work was incredibly completed in one day and the next day he and his foreman stopped by to tend to some details. I would definitely recommend this company and would call on them again if needed.

Replacing the skylight was one of the best parts of the job. My old skylight could not be opened and closed. The new one that Mike installed works with solar energy. A couple of weeks after the installation of the skylight, which was working beautifully in every other respect, did not automatically close as it should when it started raining. I notified Mike and he came over immediately to analyze the problem and then again a little while later with his foreman to fix it. This is one of the best companies I've ever dealt with!

This fall I hired the Berkshire Roofing Co to remove and replace the hand split wood shakes on my large difficult roof. I’ve worked with a number of roofing companies and Mike Linde and his crew are the hardest working and most knowledgeable. These wood shingles are heavy and cumbersome with lots of different sizes. It’s a complicated and tedious process but they did an excellent job and extra work to make sure all the flashings were properly repaired. The site, decks, gardens and shrubs were completely clean before they left. Because of their professionalism, work ethic and attitude I highly recommend the Berkshire Roofing Co.

They did a nice job, were tidy and fast. Showed up when they said they would which is rare nowadays. Mike knows what he is talking about and is very experienced.

Mike and his fearless team worked tirelessly into the night and finished the new roof on our 173 year-old house in Lenox in 3 days! It looks fantastic w/ the new Colonial Slate shingles and the lead chimney flashing is spot on! The dumpster was gone ASAP upon completion and other materials were picked up promptly. Very little old roof debris remains. The roofers (“mi amigos!”) were courteous and hard working. They enjoyed the coffee and snacks we left on the porch for their (very few) breaks. And their beautiful dog was very well behaved in the backyard. We contacted 6 contractors for this work, received 4 bids and Berkshire Roofing was not the lowest but the reviews were all very good. All in all: a first rate, quick, clean job. We highly recommend Berkshire Roofing & Gutters!
