I have a vacation home in Keaau, Hawaii south of Hilo. I expereinced an excellent response from Bell's Roots 2 Roof. Richard came by promptly to assess my projects. Provided costs for the work and materials quickly. Shuffled his schedule to start my projects before I left the island to return home. He showed up with a sizeable crew to complete the work before I left. He completed 2 of the projects promptly. Unfortunately the 3rd project removing rotten wood from a set of exterior stairs proved to be challenging as more rotten wood was discovered during tearout. You must understand I myself am a retired general contractor on the mainland with fairly high standards for workmanship. It is very rare for me to discover another contractor that measures up to my expectations. However Richard and I worked well together as we increased the scope of the job. To ultimately provide a longer lasting repair. I did not want to spend money to do a partial repair, for it to only last a couple of years. His entire crew had a can do attitude with any of the suggestions or request I made of them. I definitely will use them again for future projects needed to maintain or improve my Hawaiian home.

House repairs, pressure washing, and painting were done skillfully and completed in two days. The job was completed in the time and cost estimated. The crew was friendly and concerned about what I wanted. Everyone was well organized and hard working. They will be doing more work for me in the future.

Bell’s Roots 2 Roof did a GREAT job! I live in California and needed some work on a rental in Pahoa done and fixing anything long distance is always nerve wrecking but Richard put my mind at ease with all the before, during, and after pictures. On top of that he and his team are very quick to respond, get started, and to finish the job. He kept his word with the work and the timeline and that’s priceless.

Richard and his crew did a fantastic job reroofing my home. He was one of the only companies to return my calls, provided a free, accurate estimate, and answered all my many questions to help me through the process. Ordering the materials, and delivery went very smoothly, and the roof was completed the day after materials were delivered. They sent me videos of the process, and went over and above the job to clean out my gutters and make sure they were reattached properly. One of my downspout pipes was clogged, and Richard went out of his way to replace it for me. Excellent service! I would definitely recommend this business and plan to call them in the future .

They provided a fair quote, showed up on time and got the job done. They also cleaned up after themselves and did a walk through to make sure we were satisfied- can’t get any better than that!

My initial contact was with Richard to discuss the work. He was very friendly and listened to what my needs were. John and Kyle graded my driveway. They were very friendly and did a great job clearing and making a path for me to drive my car to the house. This is a review for Richard Bell and his landscaping crew. Yesterday, we had the borders of our steep driveway landscaped. The borders had been at the same level of the concrete drive and we had them cut down so that weed matting and rocks could be laid down. In addition, we added outdoor lighting. Richard was very punctual and gave a very accurate estimate. He was enthusiastic about the job and knew what to do with a very dense tree stump that needed to be removed. He brought all the right equipment and kept his crew working. We finished putting in the lights along the borders and last night turned them on and the driveway looked fantastic!

I had some problems with several gates on my property. Richard came out and took a look? He gave me a price and was out the next day! Very grateful for him and his team, did excellent work in excellent time. Very responsive! Construction, landscaping, you name it he will get it done!

I hired someone who ended up ripping me off Richard helped me get most of my money back and he did the job in record time. John worked diligently too. They are prompt (Rich dropped off his excavator early in the morning and we didn’t even hear him!), and work quickly/efficiently. Rich and his crew are professional, friendly, and do quality work! 5 Star service!!! A huge shoutout to Richard and his team!!! I'm more than pleased with the service I received. When I bought my property in Ainaloa, much of it was in bad shape. I hand weeded as much as I could but at one point I reached my limitations and reached out to Richard. He checked out my place within days and was very honest about the potential costs. After Richard and his team did the property makeover I couldn't believe how great it looked. If you look for an honest and great -working team, this is the place to start. Yeah, it is a bit pricy, but it so worth every cent. Richard even came back to my property and fixed a small issue with a boulder that was placed a bit to close to my entry gate. If I ever need to do a project on my property in the future I will definitely let Richard and team do the work. Mahalo and keep up the good work.
