Roof looks good. Just nobody has returned any calls or text about someone doing a final walk through to make sure job was done properly. Left a little bit of trash and staples. Also still have a pallet of wood left in the yard. Also they didn't fix the down spout for the gutter.

We are VERY happy with our new roof, the professionalism, the quick turn around. I didn't think I would be able to afford a new roof, but with their advocate, we made a homeowners claim and all but a couple hundred dollars was covered! Plus, we were left with lots of unused roofing that we will use on our garage. When my husband complained about small damage to the heater in the attic, they paid for everything. They made the process so easy. Very much reccomend Rofing 101!

I was worried about possible roof damage after a wind storm and also concerned about a water spot on the ceiling. I called Roofing 101 on Thursday late afternoon. They responded right away and scheduled an inspection on Saturday. Chris showed up on time with a professional appearance. He carefully examined the ceiling and related areas, and very honestly told me the water spot was an old stain that should not be a problem. He then took a look on the entire roof, checked on any missing pieces, and checked the condition of the roof. Gave me some guidelines on how to maintain a cedar shake roof. Finally, I was told my roof is still in good shape for quite a few years to go. All the services I received were free. Chris is very nice, friendly, enthusiastic and has great knowledge. I really appreciate his honesty and kindness. He is definitely a trustworthy person. And I know who to find next time when I need a roof replacement. If you need roof work, you should contact them. You will be amazed!

This company was awesome I would definitely recommend them, Chris is very professional and explained every detail and showed me what they were going to use on my roof. I had three bids and he was the only one that explained to whole process to me. The guys cleaned up everything when the job was done, I was very happy Thanks 101 Roofing for such an amazing job..

First of all I shop around and I usually get the best value for my money for maintaining high-quality. This is the second time I’ve worked with Chris and roofing 101. Each time they provide excellent service, great quality work, and timely product. Where they really stand out however is the service provided at the cost paid. They make sure the job is done right and they communicate the entire process. You’ll never be left wondering where workers are, when the job is getting done, or about any problems along the way. This is the second time they have exceeded my expectations. Thank you.

We would highly recommend Roofing101 Company, Chris and his team did an excellent job! We are very pleased with our new roof; the color looks wonderful and matches with our brick wall very well.
At our initial meeting, Chris was professional, knowledgeable and very detail oriented. He explained the entire roof replacement process and showed us different types of materials. When the supplier couldn’t deliver the shingle material on-time, he tried very hard to find another supplier and managed to start our project on-time.
Kudos to the team of workers. They all were very polite, friendly, professional and helpful when we had questions. The workers showed up on time; immediately began work and worked long hours under hot summer weather. The day when they left, it was like they had never been there - all the debris had been removed and they cleaned our driveway and backyard as well!
Others in the neighborhood love our roof as well. As a result, my neighbors also got quotes from Chris and are planning on using the company. Highly recommend Chris and his team, great value with high quality job!!!

We had an appointment last week and they never showed. Called them 15 minutes after our scheduled appointment and they didn’t even make time to call us back. Time is valuable and I took time off work to meet them and they no showed. I would look for a company that values their customers and has the decency to at least call and reschedule if something comes up and they can’t make the original agreed upon appointment.

Seriously Guys,
We get a door bell ring at 7PM on Friday night. The guy says to my wife I'm a certified roof inspector here to inspect your roof, I'm going to get my ladder, I'll be right back. I'm in the kitchen cleaning up after dinner and hear a little bit of someone say something to my wife and I don't hear her say anything. I decide I better go see what's is happening. I meet her half way to the front door, she has a weird look on her face and says he told me he is a certified roofing inspector here to inspect our roof. I asked her... did you tell him he could do that? She said, no, he just said he was going to do it. So, I step out onto the front porch and sure enough here comes a young guy up my driveway carrying an expandable ladder. He says hello sir, like everything is all good...I say to him what company are you with... Roofing 101 have you heard of us? No... Oh, we're associated with Owens Corning, have you heard of them? At that point I say to him, yes I have heard of Owens Corning, we're not interested.

I was a home builder for about 25 years. Of course I know Owens Corning and I know they don't do tile roofing. Sure enough, on Owens Corning's website you can find 97 "preferred contractors" within 50 miles. Sorry Roofing 101... sending a sales person to bull his way past a woman to try to climb on our tile roof without permission and a proper introduction is just wrong. He parked his vehicle down the street where it was out of sight, gave no business card, no brochure, I don't think he even gave a name. I have no idea if he knows how to walk on a tile roof or what my liability is going to be if he does.
Here is the sad thing. It's been on my to-do list for over a month to find a roofing contractor. Our roof does need to be cleaned and the valleys maintained. We own investment properties and some of them need roof maintenance. It's too bad a "rock star" salesman got in the way. I hardly ever give online reviews. I guess this just hit me the wrong way.

We were very happy with the quality, speed, and price of the roof. In fact we have a very complicated roof form with four hip gable dormers and inverted valleys along with a couple of flat areas. Roofing 101 was quick to point out that our three previous layers needed full removal and we also needed some exposed t&g boards replaced at the overhangs. There was new plywood over the old skip sheathing needed too. The full tear off process and new roof installation took most of a full long day and part of a few other days to do wrap up some detail work on the vents.

We developed a slow leak in our roof that suddenly became a steady stream of water through a kitchen vent. We were completely puzzled as to the source of the leak, and after an initial review ourselves and an attempt to tar our way out of the problem, could not figure it out.

We called Chris and asked him for a quote. He was up in the attic in no time, peeked around, and in about ten minutes discovered the cause as well as the symptoms. We had a leak all right, a rotted spot in one of the plywood sheets that would have to be replaced, caused by an improperly installed vent, but also every one of our vents on the back of the house were improperly installed, and every single plywood sheet was liable to rot and leak in the same way.

We got excellent references for Chris, so we hired him to do the work. He considered it would be about 2 days of work, but on the scheduled day his team came out in the morning to bring the supplies, then in the afternoon the roofing team came out and in the space of four hours completely replaced the roof on the back half of the house, and completely cleaned up so well I found only one small inch square piece of roofing paper that had flown across the yard into a potted plant. Nothing was damaged in the load out, installation, or clean up, and the roof is keeping us safe and dry.

This was excellent, professional, reliable, and courteous service. I am hoping we don't have to hire a roofer again soon, but if we needed to, we'd be sure to look again to hire Chris and his team.

Roofing 101 replaced the roof of our Seattle home in May 2020. We are super pleased with their work and the project turned out great. Kyle Johnson was our sales rep and he was very professional, walked us through the process step-by-step, was very communicative, and made the whole project easy. The crew was amazing, professional, quick, and thorough (I'd also note that they took care to maintain social distancing during these COVID times). The project took 2 days, with the delivery of materials 1 day and the replacement the next. All round, we are very happy with Roofing 101's service and our new roof!

The Roofing 101 crew did an excellent job on our roof. They had a large crew who did a lot of work in a short amount of time. They called ahead to let us know they were coming and did a super job cleaning up too. I would highly recommend using them for your roofing needs.

My experience with Chris and his team at Roofing 101 has been outstanding. At our initial meeting, Chris was professional, knowledgeable and very informative. He explained and with actual materials showed me the process of how my roof would be built and replaced - amazing! The roofing crew was efficient and did a fabulous job. I came home on the completion day to a spotless driveway and yard. Their cleanup was fantastic. You would have never believed a roofing crew had just spent 2 days tearing off and replacing my roof. The workmanship and quality materials they use have left me with a final product of a beautiful new roof.
I would highly recommend Chris Wolf and his team at Roofing 101 for your roofing needs. Thank you Roofing 101- You all did a great job!

Roofing 101 was very easy to work with. The sales process was informative and low pressure. I had contact info for multiple people on the team and I was always able to reach them with any questions and concerns. This project started as we went into COVID-19 social distancing / quarantine which presented a few small hurdles that they quickly and easily addressed and overcame. I’m very happy with the final product and the team was a pleasure to work with.

Recently Roofing 101 installed a new shingle roof on our home. Both Kyle and Jackson were good to work with—helping with our selection, explaining the process, and getting all our questions answered. The crew was efficient; they did their work in a timely manner, and did a great job with the clean up too. Now we are happy with our pretty new roof.

Roofing 101 was excellent! Unfortunately I had underlying issues with my roof since I had double layers and the particle board was completely ruined unbeknownst to me. My roof had to be taken down completely to the 2 X 4’s, and completely reroofed. This posed no challenge at all to the company and the cost was reasonable. The roof was done in 1 1/2 days, and almost a month earlier than planned. A ridge vent was also added across the top to help with increased ventilation to help minimize future damage due to water. They also included a 5 consecutive year roof cleaning with the package. Chris the GM was fabulous to work with and up front about all costs. I would highly recommend them!

Received a text offer from Roofing 101 for a free roof inspection. Chris Wolfe came out, put up a ladder on my 2 story home with a steep pitch and proceeded to walk my roof. Advised me my roof is in great shape with another 15+ years of lifespan. No attempt to sell me unneeded repairs and materials. Mentioned a heavy moss buildup on the north side of my roof of which I was already aware. The cost to clean that area by Roofing 101 is surprisingly reasonable. Chris Wolfe thanks for your honesty and professionalism.

Roofing 101 recently completed a complete tear-off and new roof on my primary residence. I have nothing but positive things to say about Chris and the team. The work started on time and was completed more quickly than I anticipated due to the large and complex nature of my roof. The crew cleaned up at the end of every work day, and when the job was finished, they cleaned up completely, with no sign that they were ever there, other than a great looking new roof. I recommend Chris and Roofing 101 to anyone in my area who needs a new roof.

Worked with Chris, Jackson, and his team and they worked quick and clean. We had a few hiccups but they were very transparent and got everything resolved very quickly. I'm really happy and would work with them again, but probably won't need to for the next 30 years, the roof looks solid.

Service questions

It's not necessary to stay home during roof replacement. Roofing work is noisy and can cause vibrations inside the house, which might be uncomfortable. Most homeowners choose to leave during major parts of the project, but our team ensures safety and keeps you updated, whether you're home or not.

2. How long does roof replacement take?
+-

The timeline for a roof replacement typically ranges from one to three days, depending on the size and complexity of the roof, weather conditions, and material type. Larger or more intricate roofs may take a bit longer, but we always aim for efficient, timely completion.

3. How to hire a roofing contractor?
+-

To hire a roofing contractor, start by researching local companies with good reviews and proper licensing. Request quotes from multiple contractors, verify their insurance and certifications, and ask for references. Always ensure you get a written contract that outlines the scope of work, timeline, and payment terms.

4. How to check if a roofing company is legit?
+-

Check if a roofing company is legit by verifying their business license, insurance, and local certifications. Look for memberships in professional associations, read customer reviews, and ask for recent project references. A legitimate company will be transparent and provide all documentation upon request.

5. How to choose a roofing company?
+-

When choosing a roofing company, consider their experience, customer reviews, warranty offerings, and quality of materials. Make sure they provide clear communication, detailed estimates, and a solid portfolio of completed projects. Local expertise is also a major advantage for understanding regional roofing needs.

6. How do you know if your roofing contractor is ripping you off?
+-

Warning signs that your roofing contractor might be ripping you off include vague contracts, pressure to pay large upfront deposits, lack of proper documentation, and unexplained price increases. Always ask for itemized estimates and written guarantees, and avoid contractors who avoid answering your questions directly.
