Thank you to Beissel's amazing insulation team - Mike and Darcy. We chose Beissel mainly for their availability of rock wool as a retrofit insulation in our 1925 home. But, the professionalism and knowledge of the team sold us. They were extremely knowledgeable on the application process, answered all questions, and took great care throughout the process. The price was also extremely competitive.

We have noticed our home to be much quieter, we have less need to run air conditioners when it is moderately warm, and we notice spaces that used to be chilly are now temperate in the winter.

I highly recommend Mike and Darcy from Beissel for your insulation needs. They were absolutely the best fit for our needs.

I had my windows wrapped, as well as added new storm windows. From start to finish, my communication with the company was great.
I like to ensure I fully understand what I am buying, which usually means I ask a lot of questions (A LOT). The sales person, Dave, was great at walking me through the whole process.

Unfortunately we had a couple of issues along the way. However, Dave handled all the issues well and I feel very satisfied with the outcomes.

My salesman Jason was very accommodating to the custom work and vision we were trying to achieve on our house. After several revisions and pricing exercises he was able to get what we wanted into a workable budget. Even more impressive was once the contract was executed, the team didn't waste any time getting on the schedule. Materials were ordered right away and the crews showed up when they said they were going to show up. The work was done quickly, ahead of schedule, and good quality.

Beissel installed Mon-Ray #504 storm windows on all 17 of the double hung windows on my house. The storm windows are very high quality, with durable construction and robust, easy-to-use operating hardware. The windows look great - they sit flush with the exterior trim to mimic old wooden storm windows. Sound reduction inside is very noticeable (we live near MSP airport), as is heat retention. Overall, the windows are a massive upgrade over our old triple-track aluminum storms. The installation was a few weeks later than the original estimate, but other than that it went smoothly. The work looks clean, the windows operate well, and there is a 10-year warranty on the windows and installation. The whole job took just one day. Not the cheapest option we considered, but we believe the pricing was fair for the quality we received. We're happy with the project.

I contacted them for a quote. The guy came out and counted the number of windows I had. The quote came back for +2 on the number of windows on my house. I told him I could dispose of the old windows myself. Well, guess what!, the quote included window disposal. Good job Beissel! Very professional

Beissel installed 8 windows (4 in 2024, 4 the previous year) and replaced the outdoor framing around all doors and windows. The workmanship is superb and their customer service exceptional. I would hire them again in a heartbeat.

Our home has been fully "Beisseled" (...is that a word? I don't know!). Over the years we've hired Beissel to add insulation, and replace siding, windows, and most recently, roofing and gutters. In this most recent project we had a tricky retrofit of decades-old skylights, and we appreciate all the time and care Doug took to make the transition look great.

Beissel replaced our storm windows and refurbished the two windows on our stairway landing this past year (2024). Wow! It is minus 26 outside but you would never know it in our house. It has never been warmer. They also installed new eaves, soffits and outside window treatments on our 100 year old house something like 20 years ago -- and it all still looks great. We are so pleased with their product quality, professional and friendly staff, and good prices. Highly recommend them.

Our window replacements were completed with perfection - from the start while working with the insurance company to the finish with the installation crew - it was an excellent experience. The sales rep was extremely knowledgeable about the old windows and how the project needed to get approved by the insurance company. Our home has stucco siding that I was concerned would present it's challenges for replacement. The installation crew cut through the stucco around the old window to remove it and added exterior trim around the new window. The old interior trim was replaced with new trim that was stained to match perfectly with the old window. I'm a stickler for details and after the job was finished, there wasn't one thing that I recognized that should've been done differently or wasn't done well enough. The installation crew was very methodical and extremely careful throughout the entire job. Everything was perfectly completed. I would definitely use Beissel Window & Siding again!

We recently replaced 13 windows with Beissel Window and Siding. The entire experience was problem free. Jody in sales did a great job as did Brian and his crew with installation. I would highly recommend Beissel. 5 star.

Didn't have a good experience at all with them. They said they would honor warranty work on our door from Monray Window and Doors. I had to call and follow up so many times I lost count from the time I contacted them in April of 2024 to last month, I finally gave up. Long story short, they couldn't get the supplier to deliver the product and it was one excuse after another, after 3 tries. Two times they finally came out after getting the door glass and the glass broke. They were not great at getting back to me or responding. I asked in the beginning if this was going to be such a big deal could they do something else instead. Just replace the glass with someone else or replace door, to which they said no. We had to get the glass and door fixed ourselves at our own expense. When they finally reached back out after me not hearing anything for over a month, they called and said, we can't get the glass from supplier, we'll come out and measure and replace glass. To which I said, too late, we couldn't wait another 6 months with this game so we fixed ourselves. I told them if they wanted to be decent and do the right thing they could reimburse us for what we had to pay, all or half the costs. Then I texted them the receipts. To which, not surprising, I never heard from them again. Horrible experience, I would not recommend them.

Our project was replacing our windows including the trim around the windows and the entry door with sidelights and a storm door.
These guys are very easy to work with and professionals. They were careful to confirm all the measurements and even had another guy come out to check again. Very detailed going over the products and warranty. Upon installation the install team was very detailed and careful and covered everything inside. Once it was all installed they came back out for a minor adjustment and then checked all the products were in working order. I reviewed renewal and other companies and these guys had the best reviews. I would not hesitate to use them again!

We had 2 little pieces break off our 20-year old Mon-Ray storm windows. I thought I might need to get new storm windows or pay for an expensive repair. However, Mon-Ray recommended that I contact Beissel. Joe at Beissel called me back promptly and exactly how I could replace the pieces, even texting me pictures. I was able to go pick up the replacement pieces at Beissel’s Hopkins warehouse. What could have become a useless storm window, or an expensive replacement/repair, turned out to be no problem, thanks to Beissel! Based on their responsiveness and helpfulness, I wouldn’t hesitate to use Beissel for home projects in the future!

Beissel Window & Siding did an excellent job of installation of our
bay window and side window. I gave 4 stars, as the measurement of the bay window was done improperly, so we had to wait 6 months for them to reorder and get the window that was needed. We would work with Bissel again, only if making sure the measurements taken were accurate .

Beissel has wonderful personnel, pricing & service. The company installed our original roof 10 yrs ago & replaced it this year after the 2022 hail storm. Both Mike in sales & Jason in service are excellent at their work—great communication, install was on time & on schedule w/clean, tidy, orderly site for both roof & gutters later. Excellent contractor.

Unfortunately not a great experience. Took forever to place the order and then a backlog on manufacture. To top it off they were damaged in install and a year later I’m still waiting for a plan to resolve. In addition in trying to fix the windows they caused over $1000 in damage and are not taking accountability.

Beissel Renovation did a complete and beautiful renovation of our master bathroom. They installed beautiful Onyx shower walls, new shower door, grab bars, new toilet, new cabinet, new sink included in the new counter top, new mirror, new lighting, etc. Beissel Renovation and subs work together as a team and were able to create the new bathroom in about three weeks. They are detailed oriented, organized and personable. We appreciated how well all worked together and that Caroline Ellertson was the project manager. We highly recommend them.

We used Beissel to replace all of the siding on our house with Hardie Board and full gutter replacement. It was a great experience from start to finish, from the initial scoping and bidding process though the installation and follow up. The team and all of the workers were professional, timely and it was obvious that a high quality result was as important to them as it was to us as the homeowner. The whole crew was great, from the selection process, quoting, to installation. Install was the best as I was unsure how much trim work they would do around the interior of the windows, but they took care of all of it! Everything looks beautiful. There is nothing I would change or do differently.

We are very happy with the new windows as well as the professionalism of everyone, from the salesman to the installers at Beissel. In 2020 Beissel performed a window replacement project for our 1968-built house in Maplewood. We were completely satisfied with the project planning, schedule adjustment for early COVID pandemic concerns, and professional installation phases! Working with Beissel was a pleasure, and with two winters’ experience with our new windows we remain happy and satisfied.
It took us awhile to be sure of the approach we’d take for renewing our house’s exterior but when we decided in 2021 to have our original lap siding removed and replaced with vinyl siding we were happy to once again work with Beissel. For planning our siding project we worked with Mike Scott, who had helped us with our windows, and also with Jordan Beissel in the company’s West St. Paul showroom. Both were very knowledgeable, helpful, and professional. While we were planning our siding project, a family event came up which made it necessary to host guests at our house. This created a fairly tight timeline to our preferred completion date. Beissel committed to our timeline needs, and we’re happy to say Beissel’s installation crew led by Luis performed the work quickly, with excellent quality, and completed the job within our timeline. Our house looks great and we couldn’t be happier with both our windows and vinyl siding. We are confident in recommending Beissel for house projects!

I had Beissel custom make and install a small Steel service door. Granted it took several months to get it in, I am really happy with the results!

Our home's exterior door from the kitchen out to the deck began crumbling away from years of water damage. While we have added gutters to ensure we don't continue having this problem in the future, we definitely needed a new door. based on the space within our kitchen that this exterior door is, it perfectly lent itself to doing a sliding glass door instead. This is where Beissel comes in. I interviewed 3 different companies. Beissel's team was responsive, on time and incredibly collaborative in my needs. In the bid process alone they listened to my biggest priorities in the project and made sure their bid addressed these priorities. What a change from the other companies who basically threw a few product brochures at me and said "pick what you want and ill give you the price". The decision to move forward with Beissel's team was the first easy decision. The installation of the door was also prompt, clean and just so easy! They installed the door in 1 day, vacuumed multiple times through the process and left me with the most beautiful door! highly recommend. Don't hesitate!

We used Beissel for our windows and we were pleased. We had 4 contractors bid our siding job, but my heart was always with Beissel! And they had the best quote. Tom did an awesome job from the time he made his first visit to the very end..he was having a knee replacement and called 2 hours before surgery to make sure my final invoice was completed to my satisfaction. He was so helpful in assisting us in the choice of siding products, within the budget we had. He calmed me when I got anxious and was never anything but patient. Then Jeff was the contact while the siding was being done. He came to visit the crew and made sure they knew what to do. Very kind with and understanding when he answered my questions. At one point we were going to use vertical siding but it was on back order. I did not want my house going through the winter waiting in case it didn’t come in. I said let’s forget the vertical and stick with horizontal. He was on the phone in no less than a minute getting the additional siding and scheduling delivery. The crew was great! They worked hard everyday. My house looks “Bonita”. And then Barb the important Finance representative. She was totally awesome: quick, kind, fast responses. I would highly recommend this tried and true company for all homeowners needs.

What a wonderful family owned company, with all services directed to making the customer happy. They went out of their way to measure correctly, get our windows in a timely manner, and to make follow up calls to make sure we were happy and everything was done ok, to our liking. Jordan the owner of the company was Fabulous, to work with, along with Taylor, Gary, Nick and Loyd. What a pleasure to work with a company were they all put the customer first and they have such attention to detail. A very Honest, Caring and generational company, so easy to work with. Though I decided to use a company closer to my location, they went out of their way to meet with me before a busy holiday weekend to show me various window products and options. They also took the time to give me a competitive quote with varying window configurations for me to consider.

From beginning to the end, it was great working with the Beissel Window and Siding company. They were no pressure, on time, and did a high-quality job. I recommended them to my neighbors who went with them as well and have already loved working with the company and staff too.

Bernie was delightful to work with and had great ideas that appealed to both my wife and me (not an easy thing to do). He and his subcontractors were very skilled and professional. I’d use him again in a heartbeat.

We used Beissel for a full roof replacement and insulation. They came with a crew, even with snow on the ground, and performed the service quickly and cleaned up nicely after complete. Jordan was easy to work with and communicated well. We have used in the past for windows when we remodeled our kitchen and continue to use them.

They did a complete job of my Mendota Heights home a few years ago, and even came back to add some finishing touches to some addition work that was done. They are prompt, prices are very competitive, but most of all, the work done is completed by professionals that really know what they are doing. We used Beissel Window and Siding to repair broken glass panes in our existing egress window.They were very responsive, and provided us with updates on when our window glass would be ready. The technician called us before arriving, and showed up exactly when she said she would. We were very impressed with the job that they did. All around great experience!

Beissel did an excellent job on our roof. The were very responsive, prompt, and timely. Prices were very competitive and they worked with our insurance company, no issues with that. Ended up with a great looking roof and it only took them about a half day. Would highly recommend and would use them again.

We are so happy with our new siding, gutters, and storm windows from Beissel. Jordan was very responsive and extremely detailed in his communications. They were able to do all the necessary repairs before the siding and took care of getting painters to paint the foundation and all our trim. They went above and beyond in taking the time to help us do repairs on rotting wood to help make sure everything was in great shape before the siding went on and even helped out by climbing to the top of the chimney to repair minor details outside the actual scope of their work and helped me get second story windows cleaned while up on the ladder! We are very happy with our decision to use Beissel.

We went with Beissel to put maintenance free siding on our very old garage. They went above and beyond, fixed parts of the garage on the interior where there was damaged and rotting wood and also replaced a window. A year on and we are still more than pleased with the work that was done.

I’m in awe right now. I arrived home from work around 12:33pm. As I was seating on my couch for 15 minutes relaxing and waiting for the men to arrived to installed my 2 storm windows, I realized the men already been at my house to installed my seasonal porch windows. I was thinking I had to get new windows because some were fogging up. Got some estimates on new windows too the tune of $5000-$6000 for 3 windows. Then I was referred to Beissel from a co-worker. They're sales rep came out and after digging further she suggested glass replacements vs new windows. What a blessing. They're estimate came in at $1800. No ripping windows out. As it turned out they're work was superb. Extemely professional, on schedule, great communication, and HONEST. And a lifetime warranty on the glass. Simply put, Beissel is the BEST!!!!

I had a door and custom sidelite installed a couple years ago.

The guy who installed the door was terribly unprofessional... cancelled twice then when he finally showed up (late), he installed my door handle upside down and left a quarter inch gap at the bottom of the door. He did return a day or so later and fix it... but the issues didn’t stop there.

If I’d known this door would need constant adjustments and touch ups, I’d have saved my money and sanity with Home Depot. Instead, I get to look at and use this overpriced and incredibly mediocre door. Every. Single. Day.

I give 2 stars because my sidelite is pretty nice.

I have used Beissel Windows a number of times over the last 15 years at my office, home and rental properties. I am continually pleased with the performance and quality of my windows. A short while ago, I had Beissel install three large outer windows on the patio in my condo. With their help I was able to change my "breezeway" into a, better than three season, living space. In addition there has been top notch service from the very beginning

I worked with Brad to replace an exterior door, and had a great experience. Material and pricing options were explained very clearly. The work was completed impeccably and earlier than expected. I also appreciate this company's honesty. I reached out about another exterior project that we ended up mutually agreeing Beissel wasn't the best fit for. They didn't try to sell me on something they couldn't deliver. Would recommend!

We had our wooden shakes and trim replaced with Hardie shakes and trim and our house looks amazing and our entire experience was great. The salesman helped us determine the right product in a pressure free environment and the finished product looks amazing. The workers made sure every little detail was perfect and were very diligent in keeping a clean work area, which is important for a family with pets and young kids. Furthermore, when replacing the soffit under our entryway they added much needed insulation to make sure our daughter's room doesn't get too cold in the winter. The company was responsive to any questions we had and made this an amazing experience. We intend on having a few windows replaced in the near future and we can't think of a better family-owned company to give our business to.
