We contracted (again) with (Josh) Beaty Home Improvement to remodel our house. We selected them to remodel 2 bathrooms and a kitchen. The remodel included new showers, vanities, new kitchen cabinets and granite.

I've been told that construction projects are about managing problems. And our project was no different. As you would expect with any major project, we did have a few issues pop up; however, Josh and his crews evaluated the issues, explained our options, and handled everything in a very professional and customer focused manner. The project stayed on schedule and quality was never compromised! He and his crews are the BEST! They are truly keepers!

Josh the owner came to the property and gave us a very thorough estimate. He was amenable to cutting back on some items to stay in-budget. As of May 2023 they were scheduling about 1 week out, and Josh reached out several times via text message with updates on the exact day work would start. I met the contractors, Shawn and Calvin, at the property in the morning and went over the list of items that needed to be completed (fixing a hand rail, repairing crumbling plaster, scraping paint, matching up paint colors and painting, and more). I was really impressed with Shawn and Calvin's work. I threw a lot at them and they handled every single item on the list. They showed up on time both days, communicated updates when one issue turned into a bigger project, were respectful of property and cleaned up after themselves. The house interior looks fantastic and is now ready for new renters.

Had my hall bathroom redone by Beaty Home Improvements - complete gut job down to the studs both walls, ceiling and floor. They did an excellent job of putting it back together and were so easy to work with. Excellent communication every step of the way and even offering suggestions when I asked as this was my first remodel. Every one in the house is thoroughly enjoying our new bathroom. If I ever have other projects I can afford I will definitely be contacting them.

Joshua, John, and Chris did an entire interior staircase rebuild. New treads, risers, and skirt. Chris did a beautiful job. It can be a bit of a workaround when people are working in your home, not them. Considerate of your home, proffessional, efficient, skill-talent, knowledge. We will miss Chris. Enjoyed meeting and working with them all. We will definately have them back for ALL future projects.

These guys are awesome! we had a half-finished master bath renovation we needed to have finished. they came in and in one week reshimmed walls, added a ceiling, poured a floor, tiled the shower and curb and put up the glass. all at a competitive price. Super happy with their work!

The owner showed up and refused to wear a mask. I explained that I have a compromised immune system and for that reason, I'd appreciate him wearing a mask for my protection, he out right refused and refused to even provide a quote or look at the work i needed done, he recklessly stormed out of my sub-division at a high rate of speed. The kicker is I had several projects I wanted to discuss with him...deck, bathroom remodel, new gutters and Installing a new shed, but he didn't care!! Not a very professional organization!

Working with Beaty Home Improvements was an excellent experience for us. Everyone is so busy these days. I called three possible handyman companies, and Josh from Beaty was the only one that even called me back. Josh was super responsive and kindly found a place to work us into their schedule.

A recent storm had knocked one of our 2nd story shutters down and we had a floodlight bulb that was high up that had burned out. I don't have a ladder to reach those areas, so I elected to try and find someone to take care of those items for us. To make the most of their time coming out, I also decided to go ahead and have them remove our old kitchen sink and install a new one for us while they were here. During the project I elected to have a new disposal installed as well.

Josh scheduled Kris for the work, and Kris arrived a few minutes early for the job. Kris quickly and creatively worked to resolve any little challenges encountered during the job, and he worked diligently to complete the tasks in a timely manner. He was a pleasure to chat with while he was here, and I am very pleased with the quality of his work and the care he put into it. I wouldn't hesitate to call Josh/Beaty Home Improvements if I need additional handyman work completed in the future.

Due to house settling issues we were in need of drywall repairs, door realignments and interior painting. We also had Beaty fix a plumbing leak and install a new powder room vanity.
Their worker, Galen, did a fantastic job and was very detail oriented. He repainted our entire second level and lower level hall and made many repairs to drywall including replacing ceiling drywall. Another worker, Mike, did the plumbing repair, installed the vanity including a new faucet, replaced a basement post and realigned 3 doors. Everything looks great and we are very happy to have had Beaty Home Improvements for the job.

Their handyman services are top notch. Prompt, reliable and use good problem solving skills. Would will use them again in the future and would recommend them.

Beaty Home Improvements came out and completely rebuilt our back patio steps. They were quick, professional, and the steps look great! They were knowledgeable when walking me through what and how they were doing and the different types of wood that could be used. We will definitely be using them for other projects!

We had an open stairwell after having new hardwood flooring installed. Had been waiting on another contractor for over 2 months to install our bannister who kept putting us off. Contacted Josh for a quote and had the job finished in 2 weeks. His pricing was fair and the installer was knowledgeable. After two prior contractors had made things worse in our home my wife called your company with a huge list of many tasks to get done. He fixed 2 doors that didn’t close correctly, primed and painted the interior of our front door, fixed and repainted numerous drywall areas, and removed four glued on pads from the garage floor which was no easy task. He worked diligently all day and we were so impressed with his work ethic, professionalism, and he really cared about doing a terrific job for us. Your company went above and beyond, cleaning up and we are thrilled. We plan on calling again soon!

Gutters and downspouts were severely clogged and these guys did an amazing job of cleaning out the drains too. Courteous and cleaned up everything. Shocked at what he pulled out of the drain!

We just had Josh out to quote us on remodeling our basement. It made me realize I never reviewed the work they did a few years ago on our kitchen back splash.

Then (and now) Josh is quick to return any communication. We were having issues with contractors making appointments and not showing up. So I appreciated that Josh not only shows up, but would communicate if he was running a few minutes late. While onsite quoting for work Josh is good to listen and offer suggestions.

As for the work that was done at our home. He was a true professional. He cleaned up every night before he left for the day. He was great in communicating what to expect. The work was exceptional.

Joshua and team are punctual. Do the job well, they provided appropriate information to me to make a decision to fix things or not. Sometimes you just want things taken care around the house without having the need to replace the whole thing, which others always try to sell you. Seems to me that they run a lean operations to keep the cost down. I will be hiring them again for sure.

I reached out to Josh I believe from a facebook recommendation I received. He came out to bid my basement initially, and was the only contractor I called that followed up with a bid. We decided at that time not to do the basement, and recently decided our kitchen was what we wanted to spend out money on. He quickly came out to bid the job, and within a couple days I had a bid from him. I made many changes along the way, and he patiently made changes on his end until the job was complete. The job was done beautifully, and fast. His entire team was professional, and I felt confident they would do a great job and they did. I am now having him come back out to re-do the backsplash his team did not install that I was not happy with. I am fully confident they will complete the job to perfection, and we will definitely use them again.

We had a smallish project that needed finished ASAP, during the busy season for contractors. Josh Beaty was the only company that called me back and I called 19 companies. It was a smaller job so I understood some companies would pass on it. Josh said no problem and he would fit us in. He was punctual, professional, worked with my crazy schedule occurring at the time, and was very understanding when I was being spacey from other ongoing projects in my life and the school year starting. Josh sent a master carpenter, Jon, to do our project. I gave examples of what I wanted to Jon, trying to keep an open mind that I wasn’t going to get exactly what was pictured, but it looks just like the pictures! Jon showed up on time every day, explained to me any concerns he had with our house (one of our outlets wasn’t to code as an example), reviewed with me every day what he had done the day before and what he was going to do that day, and his work is beautiful. Everything was custom built by Jon to work around existing structures. Custom always scares because I think $$$$ but I was very surprised that this was so affordable. I can’t wait to call them for our next project!

Fast, professional service. We call in to replace 2 rotten columns in our front porch. Called a few contractors before choosing them. They were responsive and the project was done fast. The columns look great and they clean everything before leaving.

I signed up for a coupon on Angies List for 4 hrs of handyman services from this company. In Feb. shortly after we moved into a new home. I needed a skilled handyman to come over and redo a lot of work a previous handyman I had hired did that did not meet my satisfaction. I also had many new things for him to do.

I spoke with Josh and he said he'd send Joe over to do the work as he is really good. I felt very relieved!

When Joe came, we presented him with a very long list of jobs we needed him to do and he jumped right in! He had to come back several times to complete the list, which he successfully did!!

During this process, we informed him of our need to have a painter come over and redo some bad painting work performed by our previous painter. He said he'd tell Josh to send Galen, who is really good, which he did.

Galen came and we gave him a long list of jobs we needed him to redo as the previous painter didn't complete them to our satisfaction, either. He had to come several times, also to complete his list!

Both Galen and Joe were very polite, respectful, and, most of all, competent!! They both completed everything we had on their lists!

We aren't done with them yet as this house has a lot more things that need to be done, especially repairing and painting our deck!

We look forward to working with this company for a long time until we get our home back to being the beautiful place it was meant to be!

We purchased our home 6 years ago and just this year discovered why it was so drafty and prone to loud street noise coming through the walls. It turns out the builder never sheathed the home in OSB and Tyvek, which I later found out wasn't part of the mandatory code back then for our county. After contacting several companies here on AL, I was able to connect with Josh Beaty. Josh seemed up to the challenge of removing the existing siding and foam boards, etc, then re-skinning the entire home in OSB and Tyvek. He was optimistic, although I was hesitant in getting too excited at that point, after dealing with a wide array of contractors over the past 2 years, most of which let me down in one way or another in a big way. Josh's team arrived on time as scheduled for the work, and he introduced me to everyone. They were all seasoned construction workers, and kept the site clean the best they could (it was quite a messy project). Each was courteous and professional. Typically after you contract with a company, you mainly deal with the workers themselves and can't seem to reach the boss man. This was not the case with Josh. He provided his cell phone, and barring any meeting, he always took my call or called me back right away. A refreshing change from the norm I had been accustomed to. In addition, I had a siding company coming in with new siding in 3-4 weeks, and this project needed to be completed within that time frame, which Josh and his team met. In the end, he and his team did the work to spec, on time and within the quoted price. I would definitely use Beaty Home Improvements again, and will recommend to anyone seeking home construction projects...no matter how big/small/crazy.

I had some bad grout and the tub needed re-caulking. Beaty Home Improvement guys were pleasant to work with and they understood the job. They gave me some good advice on how to proceed and did good work efficiently. The shower and tub are back to looking like new.

Beaty Home Improvements came out and replaced several areas of rotten wood due to previous home owners water damage. They were great and picked up after job and kept in touch throughout the span of work due to some challenging weather changes. Beaty kept the price very reasonable as quoted even having done some additional work necessary due to hidden damage behind siding. The crew worked as a Team and were very skilled. Overall I am very pleased with the finished look and cost to repair using all permanent maintenance free material. I couldn't be more impressed with this company. Joshua and John were responsive, professional, and punctual. In particular I want to commend John. He was here every day on time, worked a solid eight hours and protected my home as if it were his own. The job came out beautifully: removal of an old steel tub and surround and converting it into a walk-in shower. One last thing: John's tile work is insane -- every tile was cut and laid perfectly in a very demanding pattern. I don't think you can go wrong hiring these guys.

I hired Beaty Home Improvements to remodel my master bath. The project finished faster than expected, their estimate was spot on... no last minute surprises.

They did such a good job I hired them to completely gut and remodel the 'kids' bathroom... this included tearing out the existing tub, replacing the sub-floor but also adding new plumbing. Again they showed up on time each day and cleaned up their work area at the end of the day.

Josh Beaty personally came by each day to check in and follow up on the projects. He was a wealth of information and really made the whole process run so smooth we barely noticed we were completing 2 major projects back-to-back.

We have also hired Beaty Home Improvement to replace 7 interior 6 panel doors, repair soffit and fascia damage ( from storm ).

The next project is to remodel the kitchen. Again Josh has been an amazing resource in helping us design and plan our 'future' kitchen.
