If there was a zero star option I would use that. Avoid this guy like the plague. Guy is a scam artist who didn't complete the job and just kept coming back asking for tens of thousands of dollars above the original estimate even though the work was less than 50% complete. The portion he did complete was incompetent work.

Don't believe the 5 star reviews they are likely just his family and friends.

EDIT: As you can see from his reply he doesn't take any responsibility for his work. Its always something or someone else's fault.

Wonderful customer service, very easy to work with and a job well done! Would have no hesitation in contacting them again. Fast turn around time and excellent work on our driveway repair and large tree removal.

We called Baxter's for a quote to remove 25+ trees and grade the land. He came next day and gave us a quote same day. Matt was very professional and transparent which we appreciated (unlike other quotes we received). Matt has great communication skills and answered all questions we had! Matt and his team started the job the same week and showed up on time, every day as promised. The team were super skilled, professional, and respectful. I was truly impressed with how quick they worked with a high level of respect to the property (and safety!) The team fulfilled our agreed upon job in a timely manner and left the site looking clean! Matt was honest when we asked about additional add-on things and told us to 'wait and see' instead of jumping in and adding things we may not need (French Drain). If we have any other needs that Matt offers, we'll definitely be giving him a call and recommending Baxter to our friends and family! We're grateful for the services rendered and are so happy with the completed job! Don't hesitate to hire these guys!

Baxter’s removed two huge (!!) trees from my small front yard. They did the work over two days and left my property clean, undamaged and exactly the way I asked them to. The price was very fair for the amount of work they did. The crew was polite and caring of my property and the neighbors. I’m super pleased with the work they did, and I would highly recommend them!

Baxter Excavating was quick to reply and had our work completed within the week. Matt came through to look at what was needed and even talked with a neighbor to keep him apprised. Everything was done as expected with great cleanup. It was difficult work that required skilled workers. I heartily recommend the company.

Baxter's did an awesome job on our pond and removal of some trees. Cleared out a cattail filled pond that couldn't drain properly, trimmed trees, removed bushes, and removed a large tree from a tight spot. Everything was professional, cleaned up properly, and at a competitive price! Defiantly would recommend and use them in the future.

Matt did a great job! I had an ecology block wall that was not stable on a steep hill that had to be removed from above. Matt and his team were responsive, and very quick with the work. I was concerned from looking at the wall but they had a great handle on the project and completed the work very quickly. I’m very impressed with the results and their job overall. Highly recommend and plan to work with them in the future.

This was an AWESOME one stop shop for me. I called them up, within a day we had an estimate and locked in the deal. They estimated around two weeks to start the project and were done within one week from our hand shake! I'm all about customer service and these guys are out to do it right the first time. We had 3 large, residential, trees removed, multiple hedges cut and removed and also tree trimming performed. Cleanup was on point, some of it was near neighbors and they had no signs of debris either. This crew has extensive equipment at their disposal, at least call them and ask about your upcoming projects before you spend elsewhere!

Matt is the kinda guy that will give you the shirt off your back. Hard worker and asks great questions while planning the project. Always looking out for the home owners best interest. Highly recommend.

Baxter’s Excavation & Tree removal, LLC is a very professional company with a knowledgeable crew that knows what they’re doing. I called in for a 12x18 concrete patio to be broken and hauled off. Matt responder quickly and gave me a price within about 15 minutes after being on the phone. They came out the next day which was awesome considering they have a big workload but that showed me that they know how to manage they’re projects efficiently. On the job site the crew worked fast and professionally. When the job was done they cleaned the whole job up leaving the place looking organized and ready for the next phase of the project. They really went the extra mile. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Hired Matt's company for a site prep job ahead of a shop build. He was up front and accurate with his estimates and him and his team knocked it out in great time, extremely satisfied with the work.

Hard working, dependable, honest, and committed to quality. I hired Mathew's company to remove 5 evergreen trees from my yard. Seeing their great work ethic and thoroughness, I chose to pursue other work with Matt's company as well. After removing the trees (including the stumps and roots), they brought in topsoil to level and resurface my whole lawn, dug a new garden with their excavator, and fenced in our new backyard. He even helped me install my new chicken coop one evening, just to be nice!! If you're looking for a hard worker who does a thorough, quality job, call Matt. I honestly cannot recommend him enough.

Baxter's Excavation came to my property and built a private road to my back property. Built pads for 2 buildings and came back for back fill and finished off with some very professional landscaping. We highly recommend his services.

I would not hire this man to do work on my worst enemy's property. Do not and i repeat DO NOT give him ANY money up front. Make sure he is still insured before he starts any work on your property. He does not own any machines and rents them from various companies....make sure if he is able to find one that will still rent to him that that rental company wont put a lein on your property when he doesnt pay them for the equipment rental. Make sure OSHA or L&I dont show up as he is not in compliance with either. Be warned.
