BEWARE!!

Marvin Bargers came to fix the water pump system in the house (water from a cistern). First clue that he was not honest (or didn't know what he was doing) was he said the holding tank was leaking. There had never been water leaking prior to his service call and none between service calls. When told it wasn't leaking before the call or after the call he simply said, "oh yes it is leaking." I figured it was the water pump that was not working so I had him replace the system.

He sent the estimate which included $1200 for the pump and 6 hours of labor. I found a pump at Mountain Supply for $1024 and had him pick up the pump from them. He then spent 1.5 hours putting the unit in (labor). When it came to pay the bill he was still charging me for the $1200 dollars for the pump and 6 hours of labor!

When asked why he was charging me 6 hours for the labor he said he had another man helping him, but my wife was home and the other person was a 15 year old boy with him - not another plumber!!

So he was going to charge me $200 dollars extra for the pump and much more labor than he provided and lied about having to pay for an extra man to help him. I still paid him well (5 hours of labor).

Beware!!

Called Marvin concerned about a possible plumbing leak. He quickly identified that it was not my plumbing and suggested it might be a problem with my roof due to it being newly installed. Turns out he was right about my roof having a leak. He saved me from having a much worse problem in the future. He was the third repair company I had out about the problem and the only one to figure it out. Thank you!

Came the same day and fixed a huge plumbing problem! Affordable and quick!! Won’t work with another plumber for our businesses!

I do have to say that barger's Platinum Plumbing was spectacular. They were on time and went above and beyond to fix what ended up being a complete Plumbing failure. He had a crew with him was very professional and polite I would recommend them to anyone. They will be my go-to plumbers from now on
