Had a great experience working with Brandon and Mike from initial correspondence to bidding the job and the roofing crew was absolutely awesome..I can not personally remember a more dedicated , creative crew of guys and then did such a meticulous job and then cleaned up the whole place so well that except for the new roof , it was impossible to tell they had even been here..
Overall , I have only good remarks for the entire experience..

I needed a new roof and Nick Beeler helped me to get through the process. They did a good job, fast and efficient.

Needed a new roof after hail damage over the last summer. Was pretty intimidated with the whole process at first, but Nick Beeler made everything clear, easy, and low stress. I didn't have to deal with my insurance company or any of the stress that would have been involved in that whole process. Nick and the team were more than accommodating when I needed to change the dates for delivery and construction. Lastly, they were super quick, it only took one day of construction to completely have the roof replaced. All in all a much smoother experience than I could have imagined.

Good work, but even more importantly, they stand by their work. I had some flashing coming up almost two years after install and they stood behind their work by coming out to fix it promptly after bringing it to their attention. Highly recommend.

Mike and Priscilla were absolutely the best to work with on my roof replacement. This whole process can be a bit stressful, the communication was wonderful from start to finish. Their knowledge and expertise is outstanding. The workers finished in one day and did an excellent job with the clean up at the end. It was smooth from start to finish!

I would highly recommend Awalt Construction to anyone who has no idea how the Insurance and claims process works. Mike was super helpful and guided us from start to finish, he basically took over the claim and dealt with the insurance company giving us a sigh of relief. Mike met our Adjuster on very short notice and even was able to find other damage that we did not even realize we had! Mike also guided us on everything we should expect from the start to finish of our roof replacement. Its hard determining who to decide on when you feel your neighborhood is being bombarded with roofing companies, I swear my door would be covered in flyers every day when I would come home. We are very satisfied with our experience and the great communication we received.

They talk a great game and send the same people out multiple times without knowing what is going on. When it comes down to it their work is highly subpar. Water now leaking all over my front porch and driveway causing erosion. Would NEVER USE these folks again EVER!!! Second time coming out for a fix and it’s worse than before. What a joke

AWALT also provided full exterior painting. The manager who worked with me was professional, friendly, knowledgeable and timely in responding. He was able to answer all of my questions and the work was completed in a very short amount of time! All the work was professionally completed and in a very timely manner!

There was an issue with supply chain and getting windows in. Owner called and communicated everything on the weekend so I was up to speed. Great job.

Awalt rep Justin Gilmore was great to work with. He took time to work with us to ensure we understood the process and to make sure we got what we wanted. I was referred to Mike and Awalt Construction from a friend. Mike was quick to respond to my request for a roof inspection. He came out and thoroughly inspected the roof and made a few minor repairs at the same time. He was able to confirm that the roof was in good shape and gave us piece of mind. I trust Mike and would recommend him to anyone I know.

After a hail and wind storm damaged my home, Awalt inspected my roof an advised me on filing an insurance claim due to the damage. After getting the insurance company approval for the damage Steve walked me through everything they would be looking at during repairs. Awalt was able to schedule replacement and complete 2000+ sq ft of roofing in 2 days. They checked in regularly to ensure everything was going okay and when another storm hit a short time after the roof was finished and did additional damage, Awalt scheduled repairs and fixed the damage. Thanks Awalt Construction for taking care of everything.

Working with Steve Glickman was a pleasure from start to finish. Never unsure what steps were next. Always followed up periodically and kept me in the loop throughout the process. Great communication and overall service. The quality of craftsmanship with Awalt's crew was top notch, which allowed me to sell my primary residence at top dollar. Found Mike through our local Facebook group. He came out and gave us a free inspection after the recent hail. Great guy, honest , and came same day to do the inspection. Roof was in great shape, but he did take the time to take some pictures of a hole left in the roof by the builder (probably cut for a vent that didn't end up going there). Would definitely use Mike and Awalt Construction should we need a re-roof at any point.

Awalt Construction delivered on all aspects of the project including schedule. Very responsive to our needs and communication was impeccable.

We found Mike Awalt through Next Door and was highly recommended. We hired him to review work that was done by another contractor. Mike was very thorough, knowledgeable and honest. He took time from his weekend to sit an answer questions we had regarding the other contractor an his contract. His final report was very detailed an well written, along with pictures to show what we are looking at and problems that were found. Mike was very easy to talk and patient with me and answered all my questions. I would recommend him a hundred times over! Thank you Awalt Construction!!

Mike made a bad situation into a great one! We were very nervous about dealing with our insurance company after the hailstorm & Mike talked us through the process step by step & made sure we understood everything. His communication was on point & our home was completed in a timely manner. The house looks better than before the storm! The great thing about Awalt Construction is that when you have a question or concern it is Mike you talk to. Mike is the best in the business. We used him for my aunt's home and he delivered. She got all the damage fixed and her home looks beautiful. I would recommend him and his team to anyone.

We have used Mike for many yrs on all of our Construction projects. When the storm happened we were out of town and Mike called and informed us of the storm.He did a full inspection and helped us file our claim. Thank you Mike for fighting for us and getting everything approved. We love our new roof, gutters, and the paint has made our place look beautiful.

Mike is not honest and has told one to many lies. He promised to have my roof done in June after the big hail storm and he did not have it completed to the last week of July. He new I was selling my house and kept making promises to string me along. He also said he would have his window and AC guy out ASAP to have them repaired however after 4 weeks of waiting for him and hearing all of his excuses, I decided to go with other companies. After, I had a buyer for my property, I learned he had not fix a pipe on my roof in which the inspector said it would allow water to enter my house and damage my interior. I called Mike immediately and told him to have it fixed, once again he told lies that he thought his "guy" had came out to the house and fixed it however a couple of weeks earlier he called to say he was all done and wanted his remaining payment. The buyers backed out of the contract due to the roof and their concern about the pipe not being closed off and there could be water damage. He still has not fixed the problem and states that he was told he "guy" could not go onto the roof and fix the problem by someone living there. My house is empty and is still up for sell, once again another lie. Be cautious when hiring Mike, he is not truthful and does not finish the job. written by Lisa Nguyen
