We recently completed the roof replacement of our flat rubber roof on our Cambridge MA home and wanted to recognize the superb performance, cooperation and value that Atlantic Roofing provided.

We needed to replace our existing Mitsubishi Mini-split Ductless AC system, which had the AC condensers mounted on the roof, with a new Mitsubishi HVAC combined AC / Heat Pump ductless system. We ordered the HVAC system in March 2022 but faced serious delays due to supply-chain availability. A new roof replacement was needed prior to the HVAC system installation.

We bid the roof replacement job in June 2022 with a few local roofing companies and received a very competitive bid from Atlantic Roofing. Bill Safranski, owner of Atlantic Roofing, personally met with us to review the project and we agreed on the scope and schedule for the roof replacement.

Atlantic roofing replaced the existing .060 EPDM rubber roofing, added an additional 1 inch ISO insulation board over the existing ISO insulation and provided a 40 year warranty on all materials used. Atlantic Roofing had special crews available in July 2022, during the hottest weather, to properly install roofing on the five existing skylights and to remove the two old AC condenser mounting platforms, which was necessary to allow replacement of the old roofing beneath the platforms. Additionally, they returned after completing the roof installation, to properly protect the new roof from potential damage where the new AC / Heat Pump condensers were to be mounted by providing additional rubber roofing at all points of contact and to seal and waterproof three pipe penetrations through the roof eaves necessary to route the HVAC supply lines to each room air handler.
