Installed new roof, replaced attic vents, attic fans, and sun tunnels. Great work. Excellent clean-up. Had two major storms since installation and not a leak in sight.

I had a right to repair invoked by my insurance company. I was able to select Astro Roofing from a list of preferred vendors. David was able to answer any question I had about the process, and was able to ease any concern I had about right to repair. David was one of the best communicators I've ever encountered from a contractor. He was prompt and answered all questions. Astro Roofing used quality materials (high quality shingles, brand name peel and stick, real plywood, excellent gutters and screens), and my wife and I are so happy with how our roof turned out. I highly recommend Astro Roofing if you want a quality roof with very above average communication throughout.

What an awesome company! From start to finish absolutely nothing to complain about. The crew were respectful neat and always on time. Job was completed so fast. My insurance company actually gave me less money due to fact that Astro pricing was lower than what they had estimated. I used them on recommendation from a friend who also raved about her experience. This is the company to use.

I LOVE my new Astro roof and it was worth the wait!
Johnny was the last one to give me an estimate because he was busy and this family-owned company is not like some of the " ambulance chaser" companies that come almost immediately to your doorstep and give you a lot of salesy talk and gives you an expensive estimate.
Johnny was a good listener and he knew I did a lot of my own research on YouTube and wanted the Certainteed Landmark Pro. Because his installers and technicians were highly trained on that company product, I got even a better warranty as long as I used a few more of the Certainteed products including ridge vents.
I got great advice on colors do Jaime and she was very easy to communicate with since I primarily use text.
Johnny's crew was very hard-working and polite. I gave them coffee and they were appreciative and the ones I talked to seemed to be very happy and had worked with Johnny and his Dad for years. I got a feeling it was really a family business not only at the management level, but down to the hard working installers.
Jonny worked with me on my underlayment special request at what I thought was a modest upcharge.
His Dad was really nice and I helped him back in the trailer into my driveway and he was appreciative.
I proudly had their sig. Up for months and because my house is in a very noticeable location when you come into the Sugar Mill golf country club community I'm sure they got at least 1 or 2 referrals from my beautiful roof!
I went from the ugly duckling of the neighborhood to one of the best! This roof will outcast me and I could not be happier. 1000x better experience than dealing with a very prominent and highly advanced advertised window company that starts with "A" and ends with "N".

I could not be happier with Astro Roofing and the crew that worked on my home. Absolutely fantastic! The Astro crew was 100% professional at all aspects of roofing. I would say the Astro crew was about the hardest working roofing crew I've ever seen. (I am a previous roofer and roofing company partner for years, but decades ago.). This crew went the extra mile and knew what they were doing at all stages from tear off, proper flashing installs, sheeting replacement, facia replacement, to ridge cap vent. I was impressed to say the least. In addition, the Astro crew were all cordial and great guys! Great job by Astro Roofing - who just finished converting my 33-year old cement tile roof to a new shingle roof, and brought my whole pre-'92 roof up to code. Very professional, hard-working crew who arrived on-time every morning and took great care not to damage property or leave any debris behind. The roof needed repairs down to the wood, and Astro did it all, including keeping my facias and gutters usable and getting them back up. This is a Family business - locally owned and operated. After Hurricane Milton, my home needed a new roof. I met with three roofing companies and told them all the same thing about what I wanted done, a metal roof. David at Astro roofing was the only roofer who told me the whole truth and nothing but the truth about what I wanted. Because I have a flat roof pool patio that extends off of my roof, my idea of splurging and never needing a new roof again was not true. The flat roof couldn't be metal and would need to be replaced eventually and that would require the metal roof being pulled up and that could lead to all sorts of issues. Astro roofing made less money by telling me the truth about the best option for my roofing job. The last roofing job I had done left me believing that many pieces of plywod should have been replaced that weren't. Astro's crew was methodical about replacing suspect plywood. And when the inspector came by to check out the job, he said I was in great hands and that they were doing a great job and using stainless steel nails, which is huge on beachside. Astro Roofing is a family business, a righteous business, and they were recommended by several solar power companies in the area as a team that is the most on top of everything at each of their jobs. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

What a phenomenal experience, especially being our first roof replacement.

We all hear of the horror stories of dealing with shady roofing contractors, not Astro Roofing. Yes, a thank you and great job goes a long way, but if you had a great experience, I believe a great review goes much further.

Communication:
The communication from day one was prompt, and we were never left wondering what the next steps would be. Dave did a phenomenal job communicating, keeping us informed, ensuring the process was well communicated & followed, ensuring the insurance company was well informed, ensuring the proper documents & permits were executed, ensured we knew exactly what the failure was, what caused the failure, ensuring we knew exactly what materials they would be using, the timeline of the project, and most importantly, provided my wife & I the best peace of mind anyone could ask for.

Quality of the team and materials:
The Astro Roofing team showed up (actual Astro Roofing employees) and not subcontractors. The Astro team walked us through the project, Dave was there to ensure everyone was on the same page, the Astro team made us feel comfortable and communicated any and all issues every step of the way. Astro used high quality materials, placed protective barriers where needed, cleaned up each day and provided pictures and videos along the way.

Start, completion, and inspection:
We were told from the beginning that they would do everything they could to get us on the calendar as quickly as possible, being we had an ongoing roof leak. We were initially told they may not be able to start for 4-6 weeks; however, within 2-3 weeks they were on the roof starting the project. The permit was placed on the home with visibility from the street, they made a delivery of some of the material on a Sunday morning, they started on Monday morning and it took 3-days to complete as initially planned, and the City inspector signed off by Friday.

Peace of mind was the utmost important and what we valued the most. Yes, they did a phenomenal job with what I listed above, but nothing beats the peace of mind they provided to my wife & I.

We hope to not have to replace a roof again, but if and when we do, there’s no doubt that Astro will be the company we choose. We will refer Astro to everyone we run across that needs a roof.

I cannot say enough about the professionalism and work ethic Of all that were involved in replacing my roof. David went out of his way when my HOA created an issue and he helped solve it. Eric was in charge of the crew and actual project and he also came on site several times to make sure all went smoothly and was completed properly. The actual roofing crews (removing old roof and the roof installers) were amazing. Every person worked hard and did their job quickly, carefully and correctly. We’re thrilled with the performance and service by Astro Roofing. It took only two days, from beginning to job completion. In the beginning, a couple of the owners sat at our table making promises. Every promise they made was kept. Before and during the process, they actively communicated with us and kept us informed of what to expect and the status of the job. During and after completion, they kept the area around the house clean. They even made sure the couple nails that landed on our lanai were removed. Our homeowners insurance company assigned Astro Roofing to repair the hail damage on our roof. On February 14, 2024,David from Astro Roofing came to access the damage and discuss the necessary steps to replace the roof. He processed all the paperwork including all the necessary permits that were needed, provided a mobile notary and included a variety of shingle colors to choose from for the new roof. The process was seamless. The installation process and install team were very professional, on time and worked very hard to get the project done. They arrived very early on 2/27 worked tirelessly throughout the day and finished mid morning on 2/28. Every thing went smoothly and they were meticulous in the clean up. I was referred to Astro Roofing. Being I have solar panels I really did not know where to start who to contact and getting everything done in order. Astro Roofing took care of everything. Scheduled Wayne’s Solar to take down solar panels just before the roofing job, getting the roofing done, scheduled gutter install, snd scheduled Wayne’s Solar after to reinstall. I watched each job and just impressed with ALL the work. I use to do roofing when much younger so I know a little but was surprised how many things these guys did. Would have never thought to do everything they did. Quality, detail, all done better than code. Everyone worked with was excellent but want to give special shout out to the roofing guys…. Such a hot July and these guys were exceptional on so many levels. Great group of guys. Code enforcement was also very impressed with the work.

A little added nice to have: Astro uses a drone and gave me aerial pictures before and after. Heck insurance actually asked Astro for copies.

I can’t say enough good about Astro. If anyone wants to see pictures let me know. And I think you would agree can’t get any better value and quality for the money.

Astro roofing was assigned to me from my insurance company after recent hail damage in April. I was working with David during the whole process. As this was my first insurance claim and my first roof replacement I had a lot of questions. David dropped by and took all my calls and was extremely helpful during the entire process. He presented us with a variety of shingles colors for the new roof. Overall, working with him was a pleasure.

As for the installation process, Astro was right on time with everything, as they promised. They had the dumpster in and out the day before and the day after installation. No blocking my driveway for an excessive period. The install team showed up bright and early and got straight to work. They did a really good job cleaning up too. I only found a few nails and debris in my yard - no big deal.

Overall the new roof and gutters looks amazing. I can't speak to price as the insurance company handled all payments to Astro. Would highly recommend them for your new roof.
