Our experience w/Xtreme started amazing. Matt Jr was excelllent. We signed & gave 25% deposit because of Matt. He told us 8-10 weeks before they would have all the supplies & begin. We agreed. At 15 weeks we began messaging Matt asking for a time line. We were given multiple excuses. Then at 5 months, we werent getting a response at all. We finally gave them a deadline to either start our roof, soffits, etc...or return our 25% deposit. Work was started between about 6 months after contract signed. They started our project the last week of Oct. Roofing materials were delivered Nov 11. They wanted 25% more when they delivered the dumpster, but the contract read for 25% more when supplies delivered. This was a fight. Once the roof was complete they wanted 25% more. Both were paid per contract. The last 25% to be paid upon completion. They pressured my wife to sign off on completion in the dark on Nov 21st. I asked her not to do this because in the dark we might miss something. They would not leave until she signed & paid. She did walk around & missed that they failed to replace two downspouts. When I got home, I noted this. We contacted Matt immediately. He said they were already too far away, but promised he would have someone back to complete in next week. On Dec 17th we received email from one of Xtreme's suppliers Premium Roofing that they would be placing a lein on our house by end of the next day if the bill for our roofing supplies was not paid by Xtreme. I made several attempts to contact Matt, finally left a scathing VM that I was mad & would be reaching out to our lawyer if not resolved. We copied to Premium Roofing on all emails. After a huge go around over 24 hours, this was taken care of. Xtreme tried to blame Premium Premium denied & blamed Xtreme for not paying their debts. I don't care. Xtreme was who we contracted with & hold them accountable. On Jan 8th, contacted Matt again about incomplete downspouts as our lawyer was trying to close our case w/insurance. Matt assured us he would call back next day. Feb 5th, still no response or plan for completion & they have had 100% payment since Nov 21st. Feb 5th Matt answered he would get with his team the next day about getting this taken care. Feb 26th, messaged Matt again & told him our lawyer wanted to know if he needed to get involved & asked for a date for completion. March 26th, I messaged Matt because as I was walking around the house, I found drill with a hole saw left on roof. This was extremely dangerous. I was fed up & we were to speak with the lawyer on March 27th & discuss what steps to take next since job not complete & the drill issue. At that time Matt said contract was for gutter and 7 downspouts. Joke on him. There were 6 downspouts done & 2 left undone. Not sure where he got 7. On March 27th, I messaged Matt again. Let him know the lawyer wanted a date of completion or we would move ahead with suit. I gave him until 445pm to give us an answer. He committed on being there the next week. Friday April 4th we had not heard. Again messaged Matt & let him know if they did not show by end of day we would file suit on Monday. The owner of the gutter company came later that day. He finished the job & corrected some issues. He told that he did not know there was an issue until that week. He said Xtreme never told him or he would have been here right away. He told us Xtreme likely did not contact him sooner because they owed him money. All this said the roofers & gutter company did a great job. The siding & trim guy did a good job on the replacement of siding pieces, but trim done is already loose. If all the money/time issues had not occurred, I would have given Xtreme a good rating, but the time/energy it took to get this job done & stress involved, I feel a 1 star rating fair. We signed the contract in June 2024 & it took until April 2025 to get done. I highly suggest you avoid this company. If you need proof of any of this (I am sure they will deny the financial issues as they do in previous reviews), feel free to reach out. Happy to provide.
