I had a great experience working with Toto on our roof replacement. We had two other options, but Toto was by far the most thorough during the initial inspection, identifying moisture damaged wood in multiple places the two estimators from Cornerstone and Nearme did not. He also implemented multiple solutions to solve our long term condensation problem.

My duplex neighbor and I also chose Toto because working directly with a company owner is great - his communication is top-notch and he's very invested in doing a great job. Toto offered extremely competitive pricing not only for the overall job and skylight replacement, but had a very generous policy for roof deck replacement - most companies charge $85-95 per sheet of 4'x8', but Toto included the first 20 for free as part of the contract. Once the shingles were off, his team discovered the damage was much more widespread than expected and 45 sheets of roof deck had to be replaced. Going with Toto saved us thousands. And the new roof looks amazing.

Toto is very hard working and stayed late on both construction nights - one to address his supplier's crane truck driver getting into an accident on the way to deliver the shingles - this caused our project to be delayed - and another to personally install the skylight which unexpectedly needed custom drywall work. I really appreciated how he handled every situation that came up with a positive, gung-ho attitude and a smile. Throughout the project, I felt we were in good hands, and highly recommend Toto for his competence and integrity. I just wish we had more roofs to replace :D

For the inspections, while nowadays most companies are just inspecting on the roof (some just look at it using drones), Astro roofing inspect not only on the roof, but also from inside the ceilings to give comprehensive estimates. We had a great experience working with Astro Roofing. The process was fast and easy. They started working on the roof a few days after I made deposit payment. Our plan was to have a complete roof replacement include changing all of plywood, fascia and soffit. They got the roof replacement done in a day and a half. Then a few days later, they installed the gutters. There were many options for color of gutter. I picked color gray gutters (6-inch gutters instead of 5-inch gutters). Gray gutters make the old house look more modern. I am so glad there were many options of color for the gutters.

The owner, Toto, helped recommend 2 solar fans on the roof so that the house becomes less warm during summer months. It works! The house gets cooler after new roof with better ventilation and solar fans. As a result, I no longer have to turn on air conditioner during summer months. I am so happy to use less energy and save the planet with the new roof from Astro Roofing.

The staffs that worked on the roof were very kind and polite. They cleaned up the job site well after the project was finished each day. The staffs that installed gutters were excellent. I am a perfectionist and I love when people install items using good measurements. People who installed the gutters were very detail-oriented. They took the time to install gutters well. They didn’t rush to finish the installation and it showed. Gutters look professionally installed and beautiful. My family feel happy that we worked with Astro Roofing as a first step to remodel this old house. New roof turned our old house into a better looking house.

It was time for our West Seattle home to get a new roof and after getting 4-5 bids, Toto's (Astro Owner) came in near the bottom. We also wanted new gutters and some clear acrylic panels replaced that span between the house and a detached garage. Astro was one of the only companies game to help us out with this part of the job.

I was very impressed with the over all quality of the job, the cleanliness of how the job site was left, the communication, and the speed of work.

Everything looks great and we couldn't be happier. I wouldn't think twice hiring Astro for future roof work.

A great value with great customer service!

If you are considering a new roof in the greater Seattle area, please give Astro roofing serious consideration. I started by searching Yelp for a small set of roofing companies based on the research I had done. What I didn’t notice was the default check box to forward to companies other than those I selected. At first I was massively annoyed, but in the end it was the best mistake ever!

Toto (Laeste) was an incredible roofing contractor. He came in person, promptly and on time for the estimate. His numbers were a great value, and he quoted the roof I asked for. He worked with me to quote a thicker (24ga) metal to meet my needs being close to the Sound. I asked my Solar contractor (Solterra - another review to come) how they thought he would work with them, and they had no reservations - in fact they asked for his contact information for other clients who needed new roofing before installing solar.

Toto brought physical samples of the material - not just brochures - and my wife selected Tahoe Blue. Unfortunately, the material was not available at that time. While he offered to change to a different color, he made us feel good about sticking with our original choice, even though the project would delay 2 months and delay his paycheck until after Christmas.

When time came to install the roof he was always there. From inspecting the materials after delivery, through to the final punch list. He had a great rapport with his team, and talked with me daily about the progress. When it came time to close the punch list on the roof, he personally ensured all the items closed out.

And that’s not all. The solar team asked him to install a boot for the power to come into the house. He expressed his concern to me about penetrating the roof, and followed through, again in person, with the solar company who proposed a solution that met his needs to protect the roof he installed, while meeting my desire for an tidy installation.

If you're looking for a roofing contractor, look no further than Astro Roofing. Toto and his team are highly skilled, professional, and do efficient work at a fair price. They were able to work under difficult conditions, replacing the roof of our barn and hauling away the old roof up 1/4 mile of steep terrain. They even do the "extras" - inspecting for damage, advising on regular maintenance, and even cleared out the gutters. I highly recommend Astro Roofing, will definitely hire them again.

Astro roofing did a great job with pressure washing, and applying stain to our fence. They also did roof and attic inspection, finding minor problems that were promptly fixed.

Rainwater was leaking through at least one of my roof vents. Though it was a relatively small job, Toto, the owner, came out the next day following my call to seal all the vents. He reattached one of my downspouts while he was at it. If your roof is giving you problems, it's worth giving Astro Roofing a call.

I had a damage in my roof caused by a big tree branch that fell off. On Sunday (02/12) I contacted Astro Roofing to check if could come up to fix the damage. Due to the risk of have leaking on the roof they come up on Monday (02/13) to fix the roof. They went extra mile doing an inspection in the roof and found other spot that had to be fixed and applied moss treatment to handle kill some growing moss. I'll definitely stick with them to any roof work that I need.

Siding around our chimney got rotted in some places and we got a couple quotes and Astrol Roofing beat all of them.
They explained that the previous roofer didn't correctly put metal for rain water to go around the chimney and rainwater was getting to the chimney siding.
With each step I was receiving mages updates of the work being done.
They changed siding around the chimney, roof shingles and metal lines to let rain water flow correctly around the chimney.
I Can't recommend them enough.
