Their experience dealing with insurance was obvious… I just sat back and let them do what they needed to do. And ended up getting way more out of my insurance then I would’ve without them.. I’m sure of that

They tried to take me to court for thousands of dollars and THEY LOST! THEY TOOK ME TO COURT AND THEY LOST BIG!!!! THEY LOST THEY LOST!!!

DO NOT USE Aspen Roofing, I went under contract with them eight months ago. My insurance company USAA sent them a check for $16,707.49 after they received my money they have not contacted me, return my phone calls or emails. I requested my money back and again I got no response from Aspen Roofing, I had to retain the law firm of Riggs Abney that sent a Demand Refund on June 8, 2021 to their Denver office. The demand was for Breach of Contract, Unjust Enrichment and Civil Theft, they were given 10 days to return my funds and I have received no response from Aspen Roofing and Exteriors to date. My next step will be to take them to court. So do yourself a favor and don't make the mistake I made and go under contract with Aspen Roofing & Exteriors to do anything. If you do you could end up just like me out $16,707 and having pursue these guys legally to get your money back. I will keep you posted on further developments.

I didn’t have to be calling and calling to do the work they act fast, they have employees that did the work was very polite and that’s what we like about them about their work I guess they they know their job that’s what they are in the company.

I contracted with Aspen Roofing & Exteriors 140 Sheridan Blvd, Suite 306, Denver Colorado owner Todd Halaburka I signed two contracts for hail damage to both my houses and I gave them $13,304.64 and they never did any work ever! They actually damaged both my houses by ripping off siding to submit to insurance company.
They are in breach of contract and have been since September 22.
My sales person Jeff Thimesch started harassing me, demanding I give him money and for me not to give it to “slimball Todd”. I learned the company fired Jeff Thimesch and I also found out that Jeff has felony charges for contractor fraud and most likely wanted for prosecution in Monroe Louisiana.

After numerous dates that came and went and no work being done and Jeff harassing me, I decided it is best to cut ties with this company immediately. I sent Todd Halaburka a certified CEASE AND DESIST letter on 12/16/2020, due to breach of contract and I also learned Aspen Roofing & Exteriors are not licensed roofing contractors in El Paso county and cannot install roofs.

As of today Friday 1/8/2021, Todd Halaburka has not reached out to me or refunded my $13,304.64.

I will be pursuing legal action, contacting the El Paso County District Attorney, contacting 9 news investigators, contacting the regional building department and of course I will give as many google, Yelp, Facebook reviews as possible.

Aspen Roofing & Exteriors solicited my business by going through the neighborhood after our July 12th, 2020 hail storm in Colorado Springs.

Possibly the worst company I've ever worked with. The process started in May and didn't get installed until November. Gutter team was a no show on the day scheduled and proceeded to damage my truck by sidestepping it with the gutters (exact paint match). They were a subcontractor. Aspen asked me to sign a release of liability for the incident, which I find rather insulting. Furthermore, looking at the final invoice, I had a very difficult time getting them to work out things with my insurance.
I had to pay almost $900 out of pocket due to discrepancies between the final invoice to me and what was sent to insurance. When I pushed for them to work with insurance and showed them the discrepancy, they forced me to pay anyway by threatening me with a lean against my property. I can't even believe the time it took to sort things out and get my money from insurance. This was a roofing company issue, not an insurance issue. I just had another roof put on my old house and had a much better experience with that other company. I highly advise you to stay away from this horrible, unprofessional company. I even tried contacting their upper management 3 times and they didn't even have the courtesy to respond to me. Save yourself some pain and pick a better company.

These people lie, do not work with them.
Let's start with thier paperwork, their paperwork says they are BBB approved, that was a lie they have a c+ rating and lost thier accreditation.
They also claimed to be licensed in my area, that was also I lie and it delayed my installation by over a month. During that time they claimed they were waiting on a permit for Colorado Springs instead of telling us they were getting thier license reapproved. It took me calling the Colorado Springs permit office and confirming that no permit had been submitted, and the permit office telling me there is no wait time for a roofing permit.
If this wasn't enough during the installation the gutters were destroyed and power was cut to the upstairs. I was told them cutting power lines was my fault and they wouldn't pay the electrician's bill. They also never replaced the destroyed gutters.
Getting any information from them is beyond painful, they don't call you with any information you have to call them leave a message and hope they get back to you. I spent every day for a week leaving messages with the receptionist trying to get information and never got a call back.

Your license in colorado springs expired in 2017. It was renewed after the expected completion date on my house. So your statement that you had a license is once again, dishonest. The larger problem you seem not to grasp is the lack of transparency. If you had said up from the real delay this would have been a different experience.

The electrician said the way the wires were run was up to code, so the idea that you wouldn't cover damage is absurd. As it was explained to me was you aren't liable for damage you cause to the house, which is an an absurd standard to have, anyone looking for a roofer should see this as a red flag

Not only did this company ghost us for several months, conduct themselves in a very unprofessional manner towards our insurance company, and leave a mess. It took over a year to finish the project once we signed the contract and put a deposit down. Would suggest using someone else. We now have a very unsightly hydraulic oil stain on our driveway from the trail they parked with the materials.

Adjuster worked with my insurance and when the work was approved, Aspen roofing scheduled and completed the work on time. Excellent work and excellent cleanup. They always replied to any questions I had in a timely manner.

We replaced a hail damaged roof. Aspen Roofing was very polite and efficient. They gave us roof samples and addresses to view roof quality and colors. All the workers were efficient and hard working. They even used a magnet to clean up any stray nails from our landscaping from either the roof removal or the new install. From start to finish they were responsive, friendly and diligent. Even through the Corona virus pandemic they maintained social distance and were courteous about our health and home. I would recommend them wholeheartedly.

Owner will not call back. Paid for roofing work to be done over 11 months ago, amount of $18,000+. Excuse after excuse was given, no work performed. Asked for refund, no refund given. Lost BBB accreditation, but they still have it on paperwork. Owner lied to another party about contacting us. Now will not talk to the other party. Will offer a discount if you leave them a positive review.

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY! Move on and find a more reputable company.

Happy with the Roof on my moms and I house. Process was simple and office communicated well with my mom and I. I would recommend Aspen Roofing and Exteriors, out of Lakewood, CO. Thanks guys love the new roof!

Aspen did a siding repair job for me and it came out great. Brian did the work and paid attention to detail and took the time to do the repair right. Due to the age of my home the exact siding was not available and Brian took the time to find the best match. The problem was an undetected leak that went on for years before the damage became visible. There was a couple problems with the gutter/flashing and the way the water was draining off the roof as it was actually allowing water to get behind the siding and under the soffit. Brian diagnosed the problem and fixed it prior to replacing the siding. Based on my experience I would highly recommend Aspen. Brian's finished product looks great and was done properly and in a professional and efficient manner.

Aspen Roofing & Exteriors did a good job overall. Very helpful and were able to answer all my questions and address my concerns. They took care of all the back and forth with insurance which I appreciated. Every person I spoke to was helpful and courteous.

Recommend Aspen for roofing. We had hail damage and they were prompt and cleaned up well after the job. Roof looks great!

Once I signed the contract the price went up over 20% higher than originally quoted, they would not let me out of the contract without paying several thousand dollars to cancel. I also asked for siding and paint estimates but was blown off several times. Not happy with their business practices or organization in the office. The roofing crew did a great job though. I was compensated for this review.

My house had been hit with some hail and they helped walk me through the insurance process and dealt with the insurance company on my behalf. Once the insurance stuff was finalized they completed the work in a timely and professional manner. Thanks Samantha.

Called and scheduled an appointment to have flashing repair done on my roof. First call took all my info and told someone would call back. Jay called & when I called back, after they again took all my information, was told that they don't do roof repair. So just what is it this company does?!

Aspen did a great job of working with our insurance company on our behalf to complete all work and correct all problems that occured! The work was completed quickly and the sales staff was very helpful with all questions! The variety of products offered was an unexpected bonus. Definitely call these guys if you are still waiting to get your hail damage fixed!

The people at Aspen roofing are amazing! They were beyond helpful with taking care of our insurance and getting us our new roof and siding .

From the time the salesman knocked on my door until they picked up the last check they made the entire process very easy and pain free. I didn't have to leave my house once. Also prior to the actual roof part the owner came to my house to explain everything to me. Wow impressive that the owner is so involved and caring that he comes himself rather than an employee. They are very down to earth, professional, and friendly. Its to bad i can only give them 5 stars!

It is unbelievable this companies sales tactics. They came to my house which has a roofing sign in it and hassled me on why I was signed with the roofing contractor I chose. Who by the way is a very reputable business with over 20 years of business. After I turned him down the salesmen then proceeded to tell me what an awful company I was working with and how my roof would leak if I stayed with them. I think it is very distasteful and wrong to spread lies and vulgar statements about other companies to try to steal work away from them. And when asked to leave the salesman refused. I am letting the company you bad mouthed know everything your salesman said about them and they can do what the want with it. I will never have Aspen roofing do any projects for me!

Sales rep came banging on my door and ringing the doorbell at the same time. I answered (clearly having been crying) and said that my dog died last night and my husband and I were trying to nap. He said "ok. Do you have a second?" I said "no." He said "it's really really important!" so I said"what is it?" And he started his pitch about roofing sales. He wasn't dressed in any uniform and basically made it seem like he was a distressed stranger.
Have some respect for the people you're trying to sell to. I would not use this company.

A great experience from the beginning through the process. We are in Fort Worth, and just loved the results. The team is always available for questions, and worked with our insurance company to make sure things were replaced as needed after the hail. Jacob Ortiz, the project manager, is thorough, with great attention to the details of the project. He explained everything so well, and was always easy to reach, either right here on the job, or by phone. The roof was completed in one day, and looks great! The warranty and workmanship of the roof is outstanding! After a strong rain, we had no more leaks! We are super impressed by this company, in their responses, and work ethics. Thank you!

Aspen Roofing worked effectively with our insurance company to get the roof replacement approved and additional materials paid for. The crew was quick and professional. Work supervisor Jacob went to extra effort to make sure that all our wishes were handled to our satisfaction. We are very pleased with our new roof. I stopped short of giving 5 stars only because of a minor miscommunication with the office.

Jacob supervised the installation of my roof. I am pleased with their work. Maybe not so much with them stepping all over my garden and the trash I found in my flower pots. However, I have a nice looking roof.

Worst experience ever with a roofing company! They forgot to roof the shed that was included in the project, they state it is Lakewood Roofing Inspectors fault they could not get a inspection done within 6 month period of completing my roof, they have scratched my newly painted gutters with the ladders used for inspection, they harass homeowners for final payment before the job passes inspection, have not received any completion work or certifications for the hail resistant roof they promised, and within one week of receiving the invoice they threatened to put a lien on my home. Think twice before hiring this company!

Plus if you noticed with the other reviews they are not professional in any of the comments or customer service with their clients.

Most frustrating company I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH!!!!!!!!!! Nails and debris left ALL OVER mine and My Neighbors yard.... NO CONTACT before they show up, except to tell Me my dogs are out.. COLORS DONT MATCH WHAT WAS CHOSEN..... Corporate office has contacted me twice for payment even though the work is NOT COMPLETE.. Did I mention its been almost 6 months.... What a JOKE...... GOOD LUCK if you use them...

I wouldn’t give them the one star but had too in order to write the review. I won’t go into any specifics because as soon as the courts open on Monday I will be there filing a claim against the company and quite possibily against the outside sales person and the owner. All I will say at this time is that I very much encourage
anyone with an estimate/contract to be very careful. I would not recommend them if they were in fact the last roofing company in town.
There will be much more to come once I find out how much more I can say, legally. Final payment hasn’t been paid as we have damages, the job is not complete and we don’t have a permit in our possession nor have we passed any inspections. Thank goodness I have photos of everything including the child one of the guys brought to the job site for the entire day.

Aspen Roofing helped us sell our rental house. They worked with us and the buyer to make sure everything was just the way the buyer wanted and brought up to code. We could not have asked for anything better!

I'm reading reviews looking for a reputable company to do my roof. I find it amazing that Google allowed this business to call one of their reviewers names and belittle him. (Unemployed and fat aren't legitimate professional complaints)
Definitely lost me as a potential customer.
We all realize that there are two sides to every story but you should respond professionally on such a public forum.

Worse experience ever. Previous owner hired this company to replace the roof on our house a year later, code Inspector stops by to inspect the roof. Took this company 3 tries to pass code inspection due to all the violations they had. Two years after and we are still dealing with roof leaks. This company will do nothing to fix the issues.

Worst experience ever!
From start to finish - nothing but problems. They assured me this was a simple one day job ~ putting a roof on a detached flat roof garage. From start to finish , the job lasted over FIVE months!
They didn't show up on the start date that was promised, I never got a call, I had to call them.
Half way through the job, they had to stop - because they didn't have the right materials.
Cleanup was terrible, I found a handful of roofing nails in my driveway!
I insisted that the roof be inspected by the city per the permit, they tried to convince me that an inspection wasn't necessary since it was only a garage. The roof did not pass code and was rejected.
A few months passed and one of their employees showed up to let me know he was meeting with a city inspector to try to convince them that the roof was per code, once again it failed.
Finally more materials were delivered, but nothing was done until I called and insisted that they needed to fix the roof or remove the materials from my property.
The third inspection - it finally passed.
The job was started in May & not completed properly until October !!
Worst roofing company ever - go elsewhere and save yourself a lot of hassle!

We had Aspen Roofing and Exteriors, INC replace our roof about 6 weeks ago, the service and work was excellent. I would certainly recommend them in my neighborhood because we were very please with the work and customer service ESPECIALLY Joe Stadnik Sr Field Inspector very good to work with he has a passion for excellence and attention for details....very nice person.

After two heavy hailstorms here in Castlerock, I contacted Aspen Roofing and Exteriors to inspect our roof, to find out if our home's roof had sustained significant damage. Joe, their field inspector did a complete and comprehensive roof inspection, took photos, assessed the hail damage, and provided us a certificate of inspection at no cost, as well as our available options. I want to thank Aspen and Joe for their great customer service. I will recommend them to friends and family.

Aspen came out, found there was damage to our roof from hail. The inspection process was very smooth and Aspen also helped us with the claim process with our insurance company.

We decided to spend a little extra to get the hail resistant shingles, and Aspen recommended we contact our insurance company about a discount. Sure enough, our insurance company lowered our premiums by $300 per year. Nice!

The roof itself looks great and was completed in a timely manner.

Very please with the professionalism, the work process and the fished product that Aspen Roofing & Siding provided for our house. They were very thorough in looking over all the damages that needed to be addressed and worked with our insurance agent to make sure all issues would get covered by our policy. I will be using this company to do my next roof and will recommend them to all my neighbors and friends to take care of their roofing needs. Absolutely one of the worst companies in the business. Professionalism is sorely lacking and this company hires workers that have no respect for people's property and homes. I had a situation that resulted in my calling the sheriff's department for trespassing on my property by one of their employees. Do not use this company for your project!

I would recommend Aspen Roofing to anyone that wants a Quality roof in a timely manor. Soon after Joe sold us on the roof, we sold our house and it was scheduled to be appraised. I called Joe and expressed the urgency of getting it done. within 2 or 3 days, it was done in time for our appraisal.
My wife is thee most cleanest person alive that I know and she was totally impressed because when the job was done, the only thing she found was 1 nail.

Had a good experience generally with Aspen. Rodriquez the subcontractor was outstanding--they did all the work from beginning to finish in one day. They left my yard cleaner than it was before they arrived. (My neighbor complained that a competitor left nails & debris all over.) Joe is an excellent spokesman and facilitator.

HARASSING STORM CHASERS. ***DO NOT USE THEM***. Their obnoxious sales guy has been bothering my parents for over a year now and doesn't seem to take 'no' for an answer. My parents finally went with another company they knew was reliable via referral when they needed a replacement. The sales guy comes around the day the other company is roofing my parent's house and starts harassing my mom about 'why didn't you go with us?' and how 'it would be a shame if the city found out you didn't have a permit' (which they did, it just wasn't posted right away). He also drove by a few times casing the work out. Creepy. Earlier he also offered to pay the insurance deductible, which is illegal by my understanding. Stay away from these guys. They only get a star because I need at least one to post the review.

Aspen roofing approached me as to a free estimate on my roof. They contacted my insurance company and helped to have an insurance claim placed to replace my damaged roof. Upon approval they proceeded to install a new roof and with only a couple small items which they immediately fixed I was pleased with the job.

We had Aspen Roofing put a new roof on our house about 2 years ago. Todd, the owner, was canvasing the neighborhood & pointed out we had hail damage. We wouldn't have known there was an issue. With the help of Todd, Jesse Doshey & the rest of the Aspen Roofing team the process was painless & efficient. The roof looks wonderful!!! Thanks for everything Aspen Roofing & Exteriors

Failed inspection! Nightmares over and over! There was no pride of workmanship and quality was lacking! They did not pull proper permits until I pointed out they had not done so, nor did they call inspections in as they promised; I CALLED the city to have my house inspected. Only cared about getting paid. Communication was very little and usually by a text message. Crews were 2-3 weeks late and w/o calls or text would just show up creating issues with my day. Project managers were never on site and never would call back even though I requested calls they would always text. I had to point out dozens of issues having crews come back multiply times. Then again when they failed inspections for a total of 7 returning crews. They are professional storm chasers, liars, and con artist who only care about the money. This was a Roofing and siding project and I will regret for the rest of my life using this company and will warn anyone who considers using them.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, find a reputable LOCAL COLORADO corporation – DO NOT USE ASPEN –they are based in MO!!!! Do not give any company final payment until inspections PERIOD! Remove all valuables from walls as you could incur broken frames, glass, etc like I did.

I loved the hassle free way working with Aspen Roofing & Exteriors was so easy and seamless. They did what they said they would do and in the time frame they said they would get my roof done. they took care of working with the insurance company and were very flexible with times. The work that was done on the roof was great - there were a couple of questions but they were handled and taken care of promptly - Joe the salesman was a great help in getting things done and making sure that I was happy - I would recommend this company again due to their willingness to work with a customer and alleviate problems or concerns in a timely manner.
