We're very satisfied with the completed work on the house siding.
We had a problem with the weather station sensor being cut off, but they helped with replacing it. They helped do everything very quickly and we are very satisfied with the outcome.

We had aspen put on a new roof in 2022. Now in the beginning of 2024 it started leaking. They charged us to put new gutters on and didn’t but charged insurance so committed insurance fraud. This company is not reputable and I would not recommend them for any work at all!!!!!

The work was done well. I can’t complain about the quality and they had enough people on the teams to get jobs done quickly once started. I only have 2 complaints but they are big ones. Communication was horrible. I had 3 jobs that needed completed. There was a bit of a wait list because this was after a major hail storm so I had no idea when workers would be able to start, understandable. First job (roof) I found out from a random guy dropping of the dumpster after dinner time that work was starting early the next morning. Second job (siding) I asked to be given a 24 hours notice because I didn’t want my dogs in the house with work being done and the person who can watch them for me is 45 minutes away. I was called the night before, again after dinner time. For the 3rd job (gutters) I reminded aspen again that I needed a notice before they came. I also knew they would need access to the backyard where my dogs have access. I told them this and said they had to notify me the day before so I could lock the dog door before work. This time I was give no warning at all. No one even called me when they got here and realized the dogs were there. If they had I could have come home. Instead they did the work with my dogs under foot (DANGEROUS for my dogs and them) and when they left they LEFT THE GATE TO THE YARD OPEN). My dogs could have been lost or killed. For this reason I would be Leary of using aspen contracting again.

Glad Aspen, especially Shawn, was recommended to us by a friend after the hail storm damaged our home. Shawn was a tremendous help through the whole process. The insurance company was not looking out for our best interest, he helped us work with them to get all the repairs done that were needed. Aspen was very professional in all aspects of the work, they went above and beyond of what we expected. Delivered on every repair with outstanding workmanship.

We had several buildings damaged at our Newton/Des Mojnes East KOA campground in the 2023 hail storm. Every step of the way with every project, Drew Barry with Aspen took professional, organized care of everything. The estimating made it super easy to submit to insurance. They showed up when they said they would; were unbelievably efficient at completing each project; and Drew even took and submitted the after photos for insurance. I would highly recommend them!!

The roofing and gutter crews were adequate. Did an OK job. Mr. Bosley was very nice to work with in the beginning. Once the roof was on, and he had been paid, he could have cared less. I called him wanting to ask a question regarding my garage door, which we had previously discussed, and he was very hateful and condescending, he acted as though I was just a dumb woman who didn't know anything and acted as though it was beneath him to speak to me. He's not going to get a glowing recommendation from me. Sorry.

My professional engagement with Aspen Contracting was of superior quality. Our project consultant, Shawn Walsh, demonstrated a commendable strategic approach, refraining from high-pressure tactics and providing an in-depth explanation of the process. The actual repair work fulfilled all promises made.

We were very happy with the work done by Aspen Contracting and their team. They provided quick and reliable feedback and were fair, honest, and easy to work with. We ended up having them put on a new roof, gutters, and siding on our house and a new roof and siding on our garage. Their management staff were very responsive to our questions and always got back to us quickly when we contacted them. I'd highly recommend Aspen Contracting for your exterior work.

Disappointed by the storm chasing team and their in ability to perform work on my presidential shingles. They insisted on laying the ice and water barrier incorrectly. Now they want paid in full. If you have presidential shingles installed by this company you should have another REAL local company check to ensure it was installed correctly. Shame on you for taking advantage of someone who thought this was top notch company!

Aspen Roofing and project manager Shawn Walsh went above and beyond to give me the best customer service and best quality product! Shawn was with me every step of the way from beginning to ending- including following up to my satisfaction of the job. I couldn’t have asked for a more engaged and knowledgeable representative. Having had my own construction company in the past, I was impressed with the entire process Aspen Contracting followed on our projects. We had significant hail damage on multiple buildings and Drew with Aspen got the estimates back to us swiftly and with details and photos attached. This made it so easy to forward to our insurance provider...I only wish our insurance provider had been able to react faster. The work was scheduled, done on the days indicated, done professionally and efficiently and clean up was nearly perfect. Drew was always quick to reply or answer the phone if I had questions and was on top of every project start to finish. I would definitely call Drew at Aspen first for any future construction needs! Well done Drew!

It was a great job in all categories, looks very nice and Avery good job cleaning up. Adam did a great job cumincating with insurance co.

Aspen was great to work with. Paige was helpful in answering any and all questions I had. Work was performed quickly and efficiently. Jobsite was left clean.

After researching several companies we selected Aspen for new soffits, fascia and gutters. We were very impressed throughout the entire project. The crews were very organized and efficient and they all did a great job. We were especially appreciative of the exceptional customer service from Traye - he provided excellent communication and follow up, we enjoyed working with him.

We are currently going through the process of working with our insurance to have our siding replaced, following hail damage earlier this year. Robert has been a fierce advocate for us; communicating with our insurance company and making sure our claim covers the full extent of our damage and everything we're entitled to. I also appreciate that he is always very responsive to any questions or concerns that come up.

Aspen reroofed my house after the hail storm. Robert was always there and the job got done on time. He also is going above and beyond...long after the roof was done to make sure I was treated right by the Insurance company. He is an excellent worker and aims to please. Would use Aspen in the future.

Scheduled appointment guy looked at damage and said he'd be back the next day to proceed. Never came back.
A few weeks later I get a call from them asking for an update.
How am I going to give an update when the guy never came back?
Told the lady this and she said she'd send someone by again so I said fine if it's a different person than before.
New person was scheduled for 9am today.
It is 1pm as I write this so apparently they're not coming.

Just wanted to give a shout out to our awesome project consultant/manager, Adam Teske, from Aspen Contracting. We just had the repair of our roof and gutters related to the recent storm damage completed. Adam is the best! With 8 years experience he really knows what he's doing! He gave us great advice and guidance. He returned my phone calls and texts in a timely manner. He was there to meet with our insurance adjuster. He was there periodically to supervise the roofers and the final clean-up. And he's just a nice, hard-working, fun guy to have around! We would highly recommend him!

I don’t write reviews often, but I had a need to say about the service I received from this business.
I definitely wouldn’t recommend this business to anyone for many reasons. I am going to list a few:
1. I was away when they did my roof (maybe a mistake in my end) and I was assured I would be getting pictures of progress. I never received a single picture.
2. They quoted me for one price and material on gutters screens; however, they installed different one cheaper. I will give them credit for admitting.
3. They damaged my ceiling area around my skylight, they said they don’t have anyone to fix it and I should find some local contractors to fix it. They said it will cost about $300-$550 to cost. Maybe a mistake on my end, I agreed to take that off of my bill and I will fix it. I couldn’t figure out where they took $500 off as they claimed. The bill was exactly as it was in the estimate.
4. I sent check to mortgage to be endorsed to me, they kept calling everyday for payment.
5. I asked for pictures when they installed roof and itemized statement, yet to receive them.

There are other reasons, but I think 5 is more than enough to list as why I wouldn’t recommend this business to anyone.

Absolutely a delightful experience. Haden and Aspen were responsive, proactive, and everything we could have asked for following a hailstorm. They facilitated things we didn't even know we needed, protecting our investment.

Aspen did my new roof last year as a result of derecho. Apparently they were not counting on me needing a new roof this year due to hail damage. They shingled over 40 feet of rotted plywood. They did not replace any flashing, just used the old stuff. Also, after I gave them the insurance check, they called me and told me I owed them $3000 more than the salesman quoted me. I only gave them 1 star to be able to leave a review. They don't even deserve 1 star in my book

1st time homeowners, and Travis created a trust factor that can't be denied... Had slight hail the other day, and called 2 places... 1st place tried to rush things through, while Travis openly gave us his time along with a trustworthy opinion. Will only call him next time!

Our experience with Tyler at Aspen couldn’t have been better! He communicated constantly with me and worked directly with my insurance company to get a full siding wrap approved. After a month of signing the contract, the siding was put in within a day and a half! Seriously, pick Aspen and ask for Tyler! I tried working with two other local siding companies and they did not fight for me with the insurance company and didn’t get back to me quickly. A++ experience

Want to give Aspen Contracting and Travis from Clive Iowa a big Thank you for taking care of my friend for the repair job on his roof. He could have gotten taken advantage of because he thought he needed a whole new roof but they where honest and very professional and resolved the issue in a timely manner.
