We highly recommend Armor Roofing! Our experience with them started a few years ago after we bought our house here in Dallas that was built in the 30’s. The owner Rob himself showed up on time and was courteous, respectful, and communicated effectively.

We didn’t know when it was last re-roofed but had a pretty good idea it (along with many things from a house this old) needed some attention. We received several estimates but only one company spared the “gloom and doom” sales pitch. Nobody can predict the weather or issues they can’t see but we were left feeling generally comfortable with leaving our roof for another year and focusing on more urgent areas.

Flash forward to earlier this year: we decided to finally get the roof done (YES it held up and gave us the few years we needed to budget) and started with the estimate process again. The other companies ran the gambit of pricing from absurdly low to ridiculously high. Some companies sent out an estimator with a tape measure (no visual inspection from the ground or roof) and some owners refused to leave the office or send out an estimator (due to the lack of potential profit I’m assuming as our house and garage is very small) but Armor again left us feeling like we were dealing with competent and respectful professionals.

The estimate was not the lowest but we thought Rob seemed the most diligent and honest and Tina.. Tina was amazing! She patiently answered all of our questions, responded to our emails and phone calls in a timely manner, and even showed up to coordinate material/supply delivery. When we worried that our freshly planted/blooming flowers and plants could take a beating, Tina reassured us they take all necessary precautions and that our vegetation would be spared.

Rob and the rest of the crew (I’m sorry I didn’t learn your names but you were all awesome!) showed up early or on time every day, cleaned up at the end of each day, handled an added project I threw at them, and finished a day early! Despite the explosive pricing of wood/construction materials, Armor still honored the price quoted to us months before the 300% increase in materials. They were even able to save us some cost as we didn’t need to add decking to the whole roof (ship lap only previously). They also noticed some areas that needed attention (drainage, rot, and diy “construction” from decades prior) and remedied the situation, either replacing or upgrading components as needed.

I want to mention here that I have seldom seen a team of workers (in any profession or environment) so motivated, energetic, and upbeat. Everyone including the owner/supervisor Rob worked diligently, safely, and effectively as a cohesive team. It was very refreshing to see that level of camaraderie, caring, and respect from the newest member up to the bosses.

To sum up: Armor Roofing demonstrated excellent communication, honest professionalism, dynamic teamwork, and a clear motivation to meet and exceed expectations. I would not hesitate to make the same choice again and highly recommend Tina, Rob, and the rest of the Armor Roofing family! If we could give them more stars, we would!

They did a fantastic job replacing my roof and gutters!!! I was getting my house painted so they allowed me to schedule the gutter replacement at a later date instead of doing it with the roof install. The owner was up front with me when he gave me my estimate and said my current roof would probably last 3-5 more years based on how it looked. I had 6 estimates done and he was the only one that was forthright about that. I had a couple estimates that were much higher and the others were within a similar range. I definitely made the right choice and would recommend Armor Roofing to everyone.

Rob and his crew did a wonderful job on my roof. They had a few unusual problems and handled them well. I would highly recommend him for your roofing problems.

Armor Roofing's response was head and shoulders above the multiple roofers I called to take care of a few hours of repairs on my house. We were in the middle selling it, so had a time crunch. Armor Roofing was able to fit me in between their larger jobs when they had a couple hours left in one day to meet my timeline. Their customer service was fantastic with clear communication of expectations on work time and costs once they saw the roof both over the phone and in email and provided a detailed invoice quickly to for our real estate transaction. Email communication was always answered extremely fast.

We are very happy with the job Rob and his crew did. They started when promised, showed up on time every day, and finished the job quickly. They had some challenges with many tree branches hanging over the roof
which they had to trim, but it didn't seem to be a problem for them. We chose them because we saw the job they did on our neighbor's house, who was also very pleased with their work.
We would recommend this company with no reservations.

Robert and his crew did an excellent and professional job on our roof. We have a pitched roof and a semi flat roof. There were two problem areas where the too roofs met. They tore out those and compleatly rebuilt them. They removed two Solar Tubes and replaced them with ones I perchased. I would highly recommend them. Rob is very easy to work with and willing to explain any questions you have.

These guys took a job that another local company didn't want to deal with until the rainy weather stopped. We were happy with the quality of their work.

These guys are great. Rob is great to deal with. Very honest and direct with everything. He didn't push or upsell anything just gave us options for roofing and let us choose. We went with the best option and great warranty. They have very competitive pricing and job was even less then we were expecting it to be. We got high quality work with great pricing. He even took care of the gutters we threw in at the last minute. They were quick. Do great clean up after and courteous. I would recommend to anyone and will use them for all future maintenance also.

We hired Armour roofing in Rickreall to reroof our house last month. Rob, from Armour, was very professional and aware of the special issues a roof like ours' presents. Our house is more than 100 years old; it had some rotted supports that had not been repaired by a previous roofer resulting in some sagging, some rotting facia boards, a chimney needing removal and difficult access due to trees and power lines. The Armour bid was a bit lower than the other roofers who made bids (who were not willing to do some of the support repairs) with the same high quality roofing materials.
The crew worked quickly, explained specific repairs they were doing, cleaned up daily and did not damage any of the shrubbery or the new gutters we installed last year. They found one area of the roof that was found to need much more extensive repairs than expected once they tore off the old roofing, but the added cost for materials and labor was only $150.00. We were very pleased with the result and would use them again.

Reliable, professional. They did a great job. If you need a flat roof replaced, these guys know what they're doing.

Absolutely top notch company and superb quality work for a reasonable price. We had them do a full roof replacement this May (2016), and were blown away by the professional, quick, clean job they did. The three old layers of roofing that had been on the roof previously did not have any venting, and Armor went above and beyond the original work quoted to make sure that it was done correctly this time around.

Shortly after the install, we had some VERY high winds for a few days, and every shingle and bit of flashing held rock solid through the storms.

Would recommend them to anyone!

We can't say enough about Rob, Tina, Ryan and the whole crew. We needed quick, quality work performed on the roof, and also on dry rot and other issues with siding in order for a home sale to go through. Rob was quick to understand our specific targeted issues, get us a proposal and do the work in incredibly rapid time, allowing our home sale to move forward without a hitch. The crew was polite, cleaned up after themselves, (how often does that happen?) and, most importantly, did quality work quickly. As unexpected issues occurred, as they always do, they were available to communicate and resolve those immediately, worked with us more than fairly, and kept moving things along - doing way more than initially contracted to do. They stayed in communication with us the entire time, were fair with pricing, and did quality work with a great attitude. We can't say enough about how happy we are that we chose them. We're keeping them in our contact list for further projects. You should put them at the top of your list for general contractors as well as roofers - they were great to work with in every facet of the project.
