I cannot recommend Bryan Smith and his team (CJ, Cody, and Charles ) at Archadeck enough! Bryan showed up several times for pre-construction measurements, to initially review pictures and drawings I had of my vision for the deck for our home. He, and his crew, were extremely knowledgeable about the entire process and construction of actually building decks. He worked with us when we had to make several last minute changes with no problem. The 3D model he creates and reviews with you is a great tool that allows your "minds eye" to physically visualize your design. Great communicating when it came to options, boards, colors helped us stay within our proposed budget.

CJ, Cody, and Charles crushed it. They knew what they were doing, they took the time to explain to me (as I like to ask questions and learn) what they were doing, how they were doing it, and WHY. Very easy to talk to, hardworking, and they knocked my 20'x25' deck out in a little over 2 weeks. This deck might be just as sturdy as my foundation.

Our deck came out exactly as visualized with a very clean and high quality look and build. They also provide a final set of design drawing plans of your deck, which as an engineer, is great to have.

We will be using them again for Phase 2 and 3. I would recommend them to anyone!

I am very satisfied with my deck by Archadeck. In the beginning, it was hard for me to visualize, but the finished product is absolutely gorgeous and blends well with the existing architecture of the historical home. The staff was easy to work with, showed up on time, and worked consistently. The work area was left the way it was found. I can't say enough about this company. They will work with you to make your vision a beautiful reality.

We recently had the pleasure of working with Bryan and his team at Archadeck to build our new deck. After meeting with multiple contractors in the area, we decided to go with Archadeck, and we couldn't be happier with the results!

Bryan was incredibly thorough and knowledgeable, guiding us through the entire process with ease. His expertise and attention to detail were evident from start to finish. Our new deck looks amazing and was completed in a timely manner. Bryan and staff were great to work with from the initial design to end of project. We were able to see samples and pick what we wanted for the decking, railings, etc. There was also a point where we wanted to change which direction we wanted to extend our deck and it was not an issue for them to make that change for us. We also didn't have stairs on our previous deck to get to our yard and they added a great set of stairs for us. It's so nice to finally have a beautiful, stable deck that will last a long time! We would recommend Archadeck of Southwest PA & Pittsburgh to anyone and all of our neighbors have commented how much they love our new deck! We're completely satisfied and happy to use our awesome new deck!

Although I didn't have Bryan work our project start to finish, he did help out tremendously early on in our building project. We really love our new deck! We used Archadeck to remove our old deteriorated wood deck and to build a larger composite deck with some features (like dog gates) that fit our needs. The new deck is really stunning. We were especially impressed with the quality of work and attention to detail by the team who installed and built our deck. CJ & Cody were very respectful of my home and property, open to my asking plenty of questions throughout the process, and completed the project in the time expected.

We needed some adjustments to the underdecking, the post wrapping, and the patio pavers. We were really pleased that Bryan came out to address the issues and honored the warranty that was promised.

Great deck, with amazing details! Archadeck's crew made it a point to keep us involved through the entire process. During the construction phase they routinely checked to with us to make sure each detail turned out the way we were envisioning. They always cleaned up their worksite each day and made sure we were totally satisfied when all completed. Would definitely recommend!

Bryan and the whole Archadeck team were outstanding to work with! I very highly recommend them! I researched a lot of companies and met with a number of contractors and it was clear from the beginning of meeting with Bryan that Archadeck was the best choice for us and they really lived up to our hopes with this project. They have great integrity, are clearly committed to doing a phenomenal job, and are all around awesome people! The deck is beautiful! Bryan and his team were such a pleasure. They are very patient and responsive with any questions and communicate consistently all along the project so you always know what's going on. We had a big event happening that we really wanted to have the deck for and they made it happen!! They really cared and we felt that, not just about the deck, but about our family. They even let my daughter participate who loves to build things and paid her for her work!! Such good people!!

ALOT OF PROMISES, NO DELIVERY, MISSED THE SUMMER SEASON
First meeting was Feb. 21, 2023. Bryan took pictures and measurements for a attached pergola 20 x 20 ft. I had pictures of exactly what I was looking for. He said he'd get back to me with drawings, details, material & quote within a week and a half, with install date of mid-May. I called a few times after that when I didn't hear from him. Finally, he came for a mtg 5 wks later (March 28) with nothing. And, I mean NOTHING. His computer had gone down a few days before and he said he was waiting to hear from a distributor? Who knows? But, during the second mtg the terms changed on several points, which I won't list here. Suffice it to say we were gaslighted. I had written down what was agreed to in first mtg and in the second mtg all had changed. After he and is assistant left we realized that this was either a con job or he wasn't up to the job. If we had put down $8,000 deposit, we didn't have confidence that we would ever see him again. Unprofessional and totally unprepared and not up to the job. We don't know why they bothered to meet a second time, wasting our time and their time and by April it was too late for us to get another contractor to complete job for this summer. The last we heard was from Sarah, his assistant saying they hadn't forgotten about us (late April)! I see their monthly advertisement in The Home Mag (Great Pittsburgh). What is the point? Buyer Beware if you meet with them and terms and conditions change, no call backs, delays start to happen.

The Archadeck team not only assisted us with the design and planning but also provided expert advice to create our dream deck. The team led by Brian was responsive and professional, they provided real time project updates and met the goals we established. We are grateful for Brian, CJ and the entire Archadeck team. My husband and I will be happy to recommend Archadeck to our friends and family.

I highly recommend Archadeck for all your decking and patio needs. Bryan was awesome to deal with and provided a fair and thorough estimate. I share all of my wants with him and he made some great suggestions especially with the lighting. The guys who installed the deck were so professional and checked with me whenever they had any questions. The deck was done in a matter of 2 weeks but would have been one if it wasn't for the weather. If you want a beautiful deck at a good price, you won't find anyone better than Archadeck!

Archadeck removed our old rotting wooden deck and replaced it with a larger composite deck, underdecking, steps with LED lights, and paver patio. Bryan, the owner, is a great person and a good listener. He was very helpful in creating the design for our space. He has an outstanding crew that was here early every day and stayed late. They are very knowledgeable, courteous, and personable. They were great at troubleshooting and overcoming challenges with the existing structure. They are proud of the work that they do and the quality of their work is exemplary. CJ, the project manager, is a great communicator. He consistently updated us on what was completed each day and next steps. He listened to our concerns and made suggestions. The project took a little longer than anticipated to complete due to delays in getting materials, but we are so pleased with the outcome. Our family looks forward to enjoying the space for many years to come.

We had our old wooden deck replaced with a new, larger composite deck, complete with a roofed area, fan, angled stairs, and LED lighting. Bryan, the owner, did a fantastic job putting together a design based on our sketches and input. He then put together a dream team of a crew. CJ, Cody, and Juan were at the house at sunrise every day (weather-permitting) and sometimes didn't leave until after dark. They are all knowledgable about their designs, their materials, and the building codes (which they exceed, as a company policy). As Juan says, "You could park your truck on that deck!' They are also easy to talk to and very funny guys. We had a lot of good laughs as they showed us each day's progress. If we had any questions, they either answered them or found the answer for us. Bryan advertises that they are start-to-finish turn-key. That means they removed the deck furniture and grill, put it back when they were done, and even treated the muddied areas of the lawn with seed and straw. Obviously, I can't say enough good things about this experience. We can't wait for the weather to warm up so we can use our beautiful new outdoor living space!

Bryan Smith was easy to work with and the quality of the work from him and his crew was very good. We had an idea of what we wanted in a deck replacement and expansion. Bryan helped design and create the replacement deck and ceiling. As we progressed with the design of deck the expansion, we decided to break down the project into different phases. Bryan has been very helpful in helping us accomplish this. Phase 1 was the replacement of the existing deck and ceiling. This phase has been completed and we are pleased with the quality of the workmanship from Bryan and his crew. Phases 2 and 3 will be the construction of a spa deck and Gazebo. Bryan has been assisting in this design as well.

Archadeck installed a deck with a covered roof for our home. The challenge was we had 3 different pitches that had to match, and while several companies looked at our project Archadeck was up for the challenge. The end product worked out great and you can't even tell there was ever a challenge! Highly recommend!

Routinely gave feedback as to what was to be accomplished that day/week. All the crew listened to any concerns and made suggestions i.e.(step placement, style of roof, pros/cons of sky lights etc.) Adapted graciously to my ever changing wish list. Even with COVID related delays, the job was finished timely. Quality of materials was above my expectations. Workmanship-top notch. I wish I could give Bryan/Archadeck a 10 rating. Contacted Bryan to replace an old deck with a new patio and roof. We are very happy with the final product. The subcontractors Bryan uses are top-notch and very efficient. Had a few issues once complete but they were addressed timely. Now using the back patio more than ever!

I reached out to Bryan through his website to obtain a quote for a new front porch. He responded via email the next day and asked me when I can talk. Initially, I was pleased. I told him I can talk anytime as I wanted to get the ball moving on this quickly. For several days he made up reasons why he could never call me back through email? He had instructed me twice he was going to actually call me and it never happened. Ultimately, this past Sunday August 2nd he again emailed me how he again could not call me to discuss but he intended to call me that evening. It is now Friday afternoon and this guy doesn't have 3-5 minutes to call a potential customer? You should not mislead people or over-promise. Being busy or unorganized should not be an excuse when running a business. I called someone last night and already received a quote and have a contract in place to complete the job in two weeks. That's how it is supposed to work!

Bryan was wonderful to work with. We had an idea of what we wanted to do, but Bryan and his team helped design and create a craftsman style deck and roof that take our back yard to another level. The weather wasn’t always cooperative, but Bryan did his best to communicate throughout the process and update us with their schedule. We could t be happier with the way it turned out. I recently purchased a deck with a roof from Bryan Smith@Archadeck. I have never been so excited. His crew was fantastic and had it up in no time. This deck has such a coziness to it , that It feels like an extended room. I will have no problem hiring him for future projects!

Brian installed an electric blind for our back patio. It was just what we needed to comfortably utilize the area and when we are not using it, you would not even know it's there. The quality and look of the blind is worth the price. Not only did Brian help come up with the solution he also was a pleasure to work with in the process of getting it installed. Archadeck did some awning repair work for our place of business in Mount Lebanon, PA. They responded to my call quickly and came to the facility in a reasonable amount of time. They made me aware of the cost prior to work being performed. As for the staff, they were clean, friendly, polite, and efficient. I would definitely recommend Archadeck of SW PA.

When looking for a new deck, look no further. Hiring a contractor is always a roll of the dice but not in this case. From the initial consultation through the construction process we were never out of the loop. We were in constant communication. All calls or messages were returned promptly. The team was very prompt and efficient. They worked full days as well as weekends. Our deck was completed much faster than I had anticipated and the craftsmanship is beyond what I expected. The team was very neat and organized. We were at no point inconvenienced by a large construction mess. Daily they would walk me around the project explaining what was done that day and what would be done the following day. After completion we were walk around inspecting the final project and any small detail that we had questions on were promptly addressed. The build quality is outstanding. My wife and I will be enjoying this deck for years to come.

Brian reconstructed a set of stairs, landing, and walkway for my business over the past winter. The process was very efficient once we got moving and had the permits from the city. The only hold-up time-wise was waiting for a long enough break in the weather to allow for the work to be done. When the original plans for a gravel walkway leading to/from the stairs were shot down by the city, he was quick to come up with a solution that would satisfy their requirements and our needs. The reason I don't give this as a 5-star rating is because of our experience with a sub-contractor working for him whose behavior during this project was unprofessional. It is my understanding, however, that Brian has since parted ways with him. Overall, I believe anything you'd have built by him that follows the Archadeck standard, you'd be happy with.

Bryan Smith is an outstanding individual who is also an outstanding contractor. He believes that a contracting job should be down right and his goal is always to ensure top quality work. He is a perfectionist and he works closely with his customers to ensure the job is completed to their satisfaction. He is honest and never over charges for a contracting job. He has completed many jobs for my wife and I and we are always very satisfied with his professionalism and his work. He will oversee every detail of a job. I have repeatedly recommended him to friends and family because of his professionalism and expertise.

Brian and his crew were great to work with. We needed a new front porch railing and they gave us design options that mem with our style worked with our preferences. For installation, they overcame challenges with existing structures and made sure that it was not only secure, but would last for years. We had one piece with a manufacturers defect and they took care of reordering and reinstalling it quickly.
We'll definitely be using Archadeck for future projects.
