Arch staff were amazing. They did our installation on the coldest day of the year, after our 18” snowfall which meant shoveling off the roof first. Most people would have called it off. They were also responsive and got the job done as promised. Thank you Arch!

I'm here to write this review because my solar system has been down for months and the customer service has been terrible. My solar stopped working, ARCH finally sent someone to check on it only to find that the part needed to fix it was not available for many more months, ALL OF SUMMER (which equates to highest season of sun and money-saving). There is no way to off-set my payments, answer my calls, etc. And, the best part, is I have to pay for the needed part and labor! I've had the system for 10 years and still have 10 more years of monthly payments to cover it! I very much believe in green energy, but I haven't saved nearly the money they told me I would, and now its an additional monthly expense to pay the loan payment and my full energy bill. They were nice folks at first, I understand the positive reviews, but give the system time, and they don't seem to value you, despite raking in your monthly loan payments.

I had Arch Electric in install a solar panel in 2014 for over $12,000. In 2022 I hired Arch to replace a microinverter that had failed. We agree at $150 per hour. The repair took less than two. When I got my bill I was shocked to see that I was charged a $300 travel fee! I was never told of this and would have never hired them if I was told that this was the case. The repair cost more than what my system generates in a year!

This is something that every person who has an Arch installed system in Milwaukee needs to know when it's time for some maintenance work done. They are very deceptive in my opinion. I will not use them again. If a minor repair is going to cost this much I will look to someone else for repairs or updates to my system.

Arch Solar Plymouth did our solar array install. They were professional, competively priced, and took care of nearly all of the process leading up to the install. We would highly recommend this company for your solar needs.

Everything about my Arch Solar experience was positive. There were a couple weather related roof installation delays but that was understandable. Each person I interacted with clearly knew what they were doing. This is a very professional organization - I highly recommend them!

My solar system was just officially turned on today! I live in Milwaukee, and had done quite an extensive deal of research and quoting from various companies. There was a big mix of either quality builds but long timelines, or short timelines but the quality of panels or rapport of the company didn't seem there. When I started working with Arch Electric I knew almost immediately I would be finalizing my journey with them. The design and quality of panels/inverters was where I had wanted it to be. Lead time to install and system turn on was shorter than every other company (and even quicker than what they quoted). The price point was very competitive and everyone I had worked with along the way was outstanding. I would highly recommend anyone investigating solar to check out Arch Electric!

Arch did a fantastic job! From the start to the finish they were very professional, on-time, knowledgeable, and very nice! Everyone from Arch that I worked with was very nice and seemed to enjoy their jobs. The install was performed to a very high quality and the system meets all of my expectations. The folks at Arch have been very easy and pleasant to work with. I considered several different arrangements for our system and with each was given clear information about cost, expected performance and details about differences. I recommend their service highly. Less than a month in, I don't have a good reading on production, but it has been very cloudy and dark much of the time and the panels have been snow-covered completely at times, partially at others. Even on cloudy days with the panels snow-covered there is some generation, to my surprise. After a very positive experience getting our plan in place, scheduling proceeded better than I expected despite a short delay caused by a supply chain issue. The installers were very sharp, professional and pleasant, considering a number of details, consulting me about possibilities. The day after panels were installed, we had very high winds (about 60 mph) and everything was solid. I am confident that the installation is excellent. Communication was excellent from start to finish.

Although, there were complications with wiring (which I assumed because of bends with location) and some issues with the commission (personnel problems), Arch did a great job with installation. Rebecca did a great job with breakdown of best placement of Panasonic Solar Panels and Tesla Powerwall. I couldn't be happier with results. Even 6 months later, no issues that I've seen. Even with our huge snow downfall and temps. Thinking about contacting for an add in near future. Thank you for everything.

These guys were great throughout the whole process. They take care of all the licensing and permits, which to be honest would probably the most difficult part of the whole thing as an inexperienced homeowner. There is even a tracking app that comes with the system at the end which is really nice.

Deception and trickery. Given both my experience with this company and the upcoming technologies I would never do business with this company or invest in solar at retail prices. I purchased the components of a used inverter the company listed on Craigslist. They did not disclose the inverters as “not working or for parts only” so by all accounts I assumed it had working electrical components. I offered a very fair increase in price to remove and ship the components. They knew I needed the parts and saw an opportunity to squeeze a bit more out of me. I agreed on the purchase and after going through the work of installing their components and powering everything up, I see the inverter components show a major unrepairable error. When I told her this and said they listed it as working (I was researching many used inverter listings and was mistaken) she was clear to say they did not list it as working! Coming to my senses and clearly seeing there is no way to repair what they sold me and that I was most likely plainly and simply scammed, and when I looked into getting a refund based purely on the principle of honesty and integrity I see they were smart enough to request I made my payment type to an employees name which PayPal policy states is non refundable. As the saying “As Above So Below’ implies, for every upstanding honest good human there is probably a crooked dishonest one too. I would be cautious and not assume to receive any honesty with this company. From my research solar PV manufacturing by far negates any potential environmentally green benefits over the products entire lifetime, and the new coming earth electric technologies will make it obsolete so I would not buy retail priced solar. A great day to all!

I recently had Arch Electric install a rooftop solar system coupled with 4 Kilowatt labs super capacitor modules and a 12kw Solark inverter. The super caps and inverter were new to Arch but their team of engineers and installers did a wonderful job to provide a very well performing system. To those unfamiliar with Super capacitors they act like a battery but can charge faster, weigh less and can by cycled at least 1 million times( not a misprint). A truly revolutionary development in energy storage and the first installation of its kind in Wisconsin.
I would highly recommend Arch Electric for any unique installation. The Arch team has the expertise and personal to perform this type of work in an ever changing environment of rapid technological change.

Our solar install by Arch was just completed and we are very pleased with the entire process, from presale (we interviewed 5 different companies), to actual completion of the installation of the equipment. We were kept informed at every step of the process and quickly had any questions answered. The install crew was prompt and professional, but still friendly and easy to talk to. We had our first solar system installed by Arch and the whole experience was fantastic! The design phase was really informative and helped us pick out the right system for our needs. They're very knowledgeable about what products are available in the industry and steered us away from investing in any technology that was potentially short-lived. The installation itself went smoothly and quickly. We've had our system for a little under a year now and I'm happy to say that we've had zero issues! Knowledgeable and polite people all the way around, with a great end result.

Arch Electric has been great to work with! I highly recommend Arch to anyone considering a home solar installation. I looked at proposals from 4 other companies and Arch was by far the easiest to understand with all the relevant information laid out clearly and concisely with key figures easy to find. On top of that, their panel layout was well done the first time (I can’t say the same about layouts from two other companies that didn’t even use our south facing roof!). Angie was very accommodating when we decided to expand the system layout after buying an electric car. Once the contract was signed, Arch kicked into motion to schedule everything and file paperwork. I was copied on some emails, but the Arch team took care of EVERYTHING. Installation – in the middle of January – was done professionally and with little needed of me. The system has been running now for a little over 2 weeks and we’re enjoying checking the app to see how much energy we produced! Thank you Arch Electric for making our solar project a breeze!

Arch Electric is very competent in their entity with solar install and production. We initially had difficulties with communication with one staff person, but Angie was quick to jump in and assist in answering any questions we had. She was excellent in follow through.
The project was postponed for two months, only to find out it was due to the need for an updated survey, requested by the City of Brookfield, which was not anticipated. Once the survey was completed, communication happened regularly and all aspects of the install began.
Our decision to go with Arch Electric was from their first impressions. Angie was very respectful on the first call, did not assume and treated us as knowledgeable potential clients with minimal sales pressure. We had another bid from a competitor who was the exact opposite, talking down and only addressing the conversations to my husband. Even though we BOTH were FT employees in our careers and partners in marriage, spending "our money" was something I felt should include me in the decision making and negotiations process. Being in middle management in healthcare for half my career, I consider myself an intelligent person.
Once the install team arrived, they ALL were very respectful, personable, professional and quite fun to have around. It was good to see a young group of guys clean up after themselves, work as a team and communicate with us if any anticipated noise level was expected or a timeframe when the power needed to be out for a bit. They always left the property cleaned up as it was, when they first arrived. We upgraded the amperage and had an outlet installed for the anticipation of need for an electric car, thinking progressively. They also drug a hose, along with the underground tubing that they put the wires through, so we could have an extension of water access for our garden and flower beds, an added plus!
We have already received the rebate from Focus on Energy and look forward to the positive outcome it will have on our taxes next year. The Enphase app on our phones are quite fun to follow, to see when the production is higher or lower.
Our install was in mid August, ending with the final approval by WE Energies on Sept.12th. Thank goodness we were blessed with a lot of sun this past month, as it has significantly decreased our energy bill on the electric side already! Made up for the 2 month delay at the beginning (again, not Arch Electric's fault).

Addendum: FOREWARNING to retired or senior customers: It was not made clear to us that the government rebates on the system would come in the form of a tax credit during the sales pitch; therefore, not allowing us to have the extra monies to pay towards the loan we had to take out for the unit. We are not sure that we will ever get the $7000 back, so just wanted others to be prepared. If you are retired, 65 yrs and older and do not make enough to pay taxes, this will never be an advantage to you. We called Arch and expressed our disappointment and it didn't seem to matter to them. They had a done deal. Very short on the phone. The system has been working well and has shown some significant decrease in our WE Energies bill but a long way off to make up for the $7000.

Arch Electric helped me create a home with lower electric bills. It wasn’t easy.

In an effort to decide which company would install solar panels on the roof of my newly built garage, my first thought was to scour the state to find three business that could provide direction and price estimates. My first web stop was Arch Electric, a company just down the highway from my city and a company I was familiar with because of past electrical needs. A company I felt had me as a consumer in mind during projects.

As I perused their web site, read their testimonials, their affiliations, and awards & accreditations, I decided that I would forego contacting other companies. I would find out how they handled the development of my project before calling on anyone else.

The 2019 project would not be easy to piece together. In 2013 another company had installed 22 solar panels on the roof of my home, posing the puzzle of how to seam together two different systems.

Keith had solutions, though. He examined the system already in place, and viewed the blueprints of the yet to be built garage. He brought all the information back to the office, studied it, then with the aid of the engineers, developed the plan of action that involved the installation of eight solar panels mounted on the south facing garage roof. Within a week he was back at my home, spreading out his vision over my kitchen table, along with the estimated price range. It all looked good to me, so I decided to give his plan the go-ahead.

The project development worked its way through not just the engineers at Arch Electric, Alliant Energy, the utility that provides electrical power to my home, had to play an integral role. I was provided copies of communications between the two companies, so was always aware of the project’s progression.

When all the paperwork was signed by both companies, it was time to do the installation. The crew was professional, knowledgeable, and courteous. It wasn’t long before I had all 30 solar panels hooked up to the grid, running with net metering.

During 2020, the solar array on my property gave me the freedom from electric bills starting in May through the October electric billing period. During that time, I used electricity for charging my all-electric automobile and for all appliances and devices in my all-electric household. Still, each billing period showed a credit.

The icing on the cake is my carbon footprint is less now than in the past.

I highly recommend Arch Electric.

I am very happy with our solar installation by Arch Electric. Turn on was Feb 2019. Dan has always responded to any questions, concerns or comments since the install. Our solar journey began with another company, but they fell off the face of the earth as I asked questions and tried to educate myself. By then we had decided to do it and just continued to do more research and chose Arch. No surprises or upcharges, professional attitude by every member from estimating to loan assistance to installation. The system does not offset the monthly payment (we were aware it would not), but in the long haul it will save us tens of thousands of dollars over the life of the system.

Arch Electric was excellent in every regard and you should not hesitate to work with them to do your solar array installation.
From the very first call, and every interaction after that, there was nothing they could have done better.
Their pricing is very competitive, the initial consultation was informative and low pressure, their crew was professional and expert, and their craftsmanship is wonderful,. My house looks terrific with the panels they recommended.
I found them by accident from an online solar estimator, and I'm very glad I did. Everyone I worked with was great without exception, but Stanley in their Madison office, Catherine, who managed the project ,and even Jodi who asked me to actually pay them for everything were very personable and friendly. I felt like I had my solar array installed by friends rather than a corporation.

Dan in sales lied to us and now has refused to return calls. Arch Electric put a system in costing us 8000+ in additional fees because of their lack of integrity and down right lying to us on several occasions. Don’t count on them to pay what they owe or return any phone calls or texts. Their business model is to just hope I go away. They are famous for the old BAIT AND SWITCH-BEWARE! Sign with them at your own risk. Find another company that won’t lie right to your face. Still waiting for a call back from the owner.

Arch employees were professional, courteous and pleasant and provided a neat, clean installation. A friend who does solar installations was impressed with the panel layout saying they were within an inch of perfect for the roof and site. I'm very pleased with the amount of electricity being generated.

Arch's personnelle where respectful, knowledgeable and completed their work with a high level of quality. They worked with local and state agencies to get permits and credits filled.

My solar panels are up, and I'm happy to say I have gotten a credit on my utility bill because of the surplus power generated. Arch Electric took care of all the paperwork and permitting, and the process was rather simple for me. Their sales reps and installers were excellent communicators, and I am happy with how the installation turned out.

We worked with Rebecca as our solar consultant, and overall she did a very good job. She was enthusiastic and did a good job following up and answering lots of questions. I am sure she will only get better.
The install team also did a great job. They did a good job of keeping the job cleaned up of all the little bits, and the final product looks very professional. The only complaint I had is the install team changed the orientation of one part of the array because they felt it would produce better results, and the only reason that was an issue was because I didn't know it until after the fact. I did mention this to Rebecca, and it seems Arch is committed to learning and continuing to improve and do even better. With the system in operation, it certainly appears the installers made a good call in changing the orientation and area of the roof covered.
Great job, and if we look to expand I will be contacting them again.

Arch Electric installed residential solar panels for me and the experience was very positive. All the workmanship and materials seem to be high quality, and the power being produced is approximately what was promised. The process from signing the contract to having the system operational took a lot longer than expected. When the salesperson said 6 weeks lead time, I assumed that meant 6 weeks until installation. Instead, that meant 6 weeks until they started planning, getting permits, etc. The whole process took over 3 months. Nevertheless, I am very happy with the results.

Arch did a great job of installing and now we are making our own electric. Its been over a year and we have had no problems with the system. Just keep getting that credit on our bill. Fantastic.

I had solar panels installed this past winter. The entire experience went smoothly. Everyone I encountered at the company was helpful and professional. The work was completed in a timely manner and required very little on my part. They even helped keep my costs down by allowing me to join a group buy in Racine. I highly recommend them.

We got their first in garage inverter to charge our car so there were some bumps in the road involving a new product for them but in the end it all worked out and we have a whole system in place: 30 panels on our roof and an inverter/car charger for our Chevy bolt!
