Ever since the 2020 fires, I've been fretting about our un-screened roof vents. This week I finally decided to do something and called Apex Roofing (BBB A+ rating). They sent Fred this afternoon and all 26 vents have been retrofitted with 1/8" steel screen mesh. If you're wondering why we did this, check this out:

These guys do fantastic work on a handshake. Good people who work with their neighbors and drive past their results. They do work that they can be proud of as they drive past it every day. Easy to work with and I am positive I have a fantastic installation that will last 30 years.

There were many facets of the new roof that were complicated, and he came up with great solutions to the challenges. He stayed late on nights when snow was expected the next day to keep us dry inside. He put his heart into the project and his hard work is appreciated.
