We hired him to rebuild a barn. We agreed on the work to be done but once it started everything we talked about changed. He left us high and dry with the project 25% finished because we would not pay him any more money after we had already paid him 75% of the contracted price.
Everything he did which was to be all per the engineered plans we paid him for all fell short of the plans from the engineer. From the concrete to the framing to the materials called for...
To top it off he did not pay any of the subs, so we are now coming out of pocket for the disposal fees, the concrete, and all the materials we originally paid for with our deposit.
