I had two roofing jobs done by this company; replacement of my flat roof and replacement of my main roof. They were prompt, efficient, and reasonably priced. The owner of the company, Craig, is a local person with over 50 years of experience. When my roof had much more rotted wood to replace than originally thought, he stood behind our contract and didn't even consider raising the price. That kind of integrity is not seen too often. Also, the lady in the office, Leigh Ann, is extremely helpful, kind, and personable. She addressed any and every question I had right away. I'm happy to give this company my highest recommendation.

After being approved for the La. Home Fortified Program Grant I chose Mr. Craig for one of my 3 Selected Contractor Bids. I did read American Men Roofing reviews & BBB ratings, which met my qualifications.I was completely satisfied by his quick response, roofing knowledge & experience he has.. He completed a through inspection of my roof & attic, submitted his quote to LHFP. His secretary Leigh Ann was also helpful, knowledgeable & quick to answer & return my calls. On the day as planned they arrived to start my project. They got an early start (6:30am). They crew was very professional, courteous & respected my property. The project was completed in one day (finished about 6:00pm). Before starting they covered the ground with a tarp & when the job was completed they made a couple of rounds making sure there were no nails or roofing material on the ground. They also cleaned up throughout the day. Mr. Craig made a final round making sure the area was free of nails & materials. He also made his final report, with the needed paperwork & pictures needed for the program. I was not disappointed by choosing American Men Roofing. They exceeded my expectations & highly recommend them.

Had our roof replaced today by American Men Roofing, Inc. and they did a GREAT job! The crew showed up on time, had the job done from start to finish in 5.5 hours, and made sure every nail and piece of trash was cleaned up afterwards. The owner Craig was very professional and answered my (many) questions during the process. Roof looks AWESOME and I would highly recommend them! They are local, very competitive for pricing, and have been in business for nearly 40 years.

My roof was in trouble after hurricane Zeta. I called several roofers for quotes. American Men Roofing was not the cheapest quote, but it was the one I trusted the most knowing that my last roofer did a bad job.
Craig worked his way through the problems my roof had, repaired all of the bad places then installed really good shingles.
After Hurrican Ida, I had a small section of ridge shingles come loose. Craigs team came out and repaired the damage at no charge.
Pricing is fair. Work is outstanding. Highly recommended!

I spent over $22k earlier this month on a roof installation. It rained this week and water flooded my home and damaged my home again. Craig has been avoiding my calls ever since. I literally just repaired the home from Hurricane Ida and now I’m repairing after Craig. His poor services really hurt my family financially. If there’s a roofer out there please call me and contact me to help and my family fix this problem from this man.

Craig is the absolute worst owner and customer service person in his business. We've had a leak since he replaced our roof and Craig makes empty promises to fix it but never shows up to do his job. He replaced our roof 2 months ago and we still have the leak. Stay away from this scammer. The photos attached show some of his best work.

I called for an estimate and he came out the day we agreed upon. He was in neighborhood and he came right away. Told me a week or so but we then had rain so his scheduled work was pushed back a week or so. I was understanding of the situation but called back after the two weeks and kinda got the run around. Acted like they didn’t remember the estimate he gave me and didn’t hear from them again. Was looking forward to having a local neighbor’s company do the work. Unfortunately I still need some repairs if anybody can suggest a roofer in river Ridge. Thank you

The crew and Craig arrive on Thursday to start the job and completed the job by noon on Friday. The crew cleaned up our yard after both days work. If looked as though no work had taken place. The staff was very helpful and easy to work with. We love our new roof.

The company is unusually responsive and focused on quality materials and workmanship, all with a competitive price. In two full days of working smoothly (well organized and everyone productive), we had our top quality roof for house and detached garage.
Mr. Craig helped in our selection of shingles and scheduling around the COVID isolation period. The crew conscientiously cleaned up each day and left us in great shape. A refreshingly positive experience all around.

We had a really positive experience with American Men Roofing. We got a few quotes and American Men came out a bit lower than the others, but the main reason we chose them was that Craig seemed very knowledgable, experienced, up front about everything and I did not feel like I was being given a "sales pitch". When they came to do the work, they brought a large crew, and were in and out pretty much within a day and a half, and cleaned up well. Everybody was professional and there were no surprise expenses. While it may be early to tell, the roof looked great and everybody seemed to know what they were doing. Will definitely call them again for any future roofing needs.

I saw these guys working on a house next to mine about a year ago. Now I own a renovation company, and am obviously renovating houses in the area. One needed some minor roofing repairs, so I called a few companies for quotes . Only three out of five returned my calls, and only two of those came to my house. Out of those two, I really liked how professional Craig was, as well as his pricing. He and his crew did a great job within a reasonable amount of time., even though there were some rain delays. I will continue to use them on future projects,.

This company is awesome! I have a 2800 sqft house and they removed and replaced my whole roof in 1.5 days. Ive never seen a roof get replaced that fast and efficient on a house. They came on the day they said they would and provided a very competitive price. I WILL use these guys again for future projects

My wife and I recently discovered leaking from the ceiling and feared costly repairs were necessary, so I looked around for roofing companies and found American Men Roofing. I talked with Craig and he came out to give me an estimate on the damage, which turned out to be pre-existing (sale of house) and we also inquired about a new roof. Craig did agree that a new roof, with repairs would be in the best interest of not only our house but us as well.
He worked up the quote and it was actually less than what we expected, so we agreed to it. He made another visit to us to pick out the shingle color and then we set a date for the roofing.
His crew showed up on the date, as promised, and began work that morning. Since my wife and I work nights, they were on the roof, removing the old poorly done roof prior to our arrival, which was at 7 am. Craig was unavailable that day, however his foreman on the crew was very busy assisting the other crew members but took time out to greet my wife and I and update us on the progress of the job. All crew members were courteous and greeted us while continuing work. Any questions that we had were answered by the workers and since my neighbors driveway is somewhat close to my house, they carefully draped a tarp over a car that was parked in the driveway!
All in all, Craig's roofing crew were professional and very, very clean and careful not to leave any nails or debris from the job. While my house is not extremely large, it is our castle and we care very much about its' structure and appearance. The job took approximately 8 to 9 hours to complete and EVERYTHING was picked up and the crew was leaving around 3:30 p.m. that day. While getting a new roof on your house can be noisy, dusty/dirty and intrusive, it was a pleasant experience. Craig visited us the next day to check if we were happy with the job conducted, which of course I was. I would definitely recommend American Men Roofers to anyone looking to have this type of work done, thanks Craig!

Yes, know who is on your roof. I had peace of mind knowing that this company was licensed and insured as they give you a copy of all that info along with the estimate. Craig and his company were all professional and courteous. Roof looks great and I feel Craig went over and above with matters that were needed. I feel confident that if anything arises that I need his company for, he will be attentive.

Last week, Mr. Craig came out with his crew and did wonders with our roof. When he first inspected our roof, he was so very appalled at its current state. You could hear and see the passion he has. American Men Roofing came out shortly after and lauded a beautiful roof. They showed up earlier than planned and went straight to work. The workers were so kind as well. Mr. Craig and his staff were always available and answered promptly. I would most certainly refer them and definitely use them again if ever needed.

Craig was great. Very organized and friendly. They were reasonably priced and the level of service I received added extra quality. My roof was in bad shape and they ended up having to extra work to do it right, but when it came time to pay he didn't charge any extra. I would definitely recommend and will use again, if needed. American men roofing did my roof and it looks awesome they showed up on time and performed all the work just like they said they would do.

This company started tearing a roof off across the street from me, nailing in toeholds and dropping debris from the second story at 6:30 am. When I contacted them to make a complaint the man said this was their standard procedure. There is a noise ordinance here, they are clearly in violation and don't care. Not impressed, and I will be sharing my experience not only with the proper authorities, but with four of my friends who are beginning renovations.
