Please do not hire this company! They only find the leak and tell you to call a real plumber.
Charged $500 to put 6" of PVC in with two elbows. Totally excessive repair charge.
I'm still waiting for that call. I want to move forward but how can I with this horrible communication?
It was going to A WEEK before they could come out! Who can wait a WEEK when you have a leak?

Had great service back in January when a rat (since dealt with) take out multiple water lines across our house. Had technician Jeremiah come out and over the course of several hours fix each and every leak. There was probably a good 20 or so chewed pvc pipes in the house but he was able to fix them all. Haven't had any issues since! Will definitely recommend ALDS to friends and family! Thanks Jeremiah!!

For the best service in town look no further. I had a leak under my homes slab and American Leak Detection of Charleston re-piped my entire home and did an excellent job. They were professional, on time and dependable every step of the way. Normally, I never write a review but these guys and the team are just to good to be kept a secret. Thanks so much Jeff, Chuck and the entire staff for a job well done. A+++ 5 STAR!

Please do not hire this company! They only find the leak and tell you to call a real plumber. Plumb pro will leak detect and fix for less than this company! They were at my home for 20-25 minutes and found the leak. I asked them to fix it and they said I had to call to set up an appt. I called plumb pro they came out and fixed the leak in 20 minutes. American Leak Detection of Charleston is....Very unprofessional. They never had to use any of their speciality equipment that they advertise and look at their website....it says leak detection and repairs....not in the same day though! Please do not waste your time!

They located leak in front yard. Pulled out a fitting to show it was cracked and charged $500 to put 6" of PVC in with two elbows. Totally excessive repair charge. I was left with an unhooked water line and had to pay the ransom or deal no water while trying to get someone else to come out (after back surgery I could not make the simple repair. DON'T LET THEM DO ANY REPAIR - THEY ARE EXCESSIVELY OVERPRICED

This gentleman came out while I wasn't home and dealt with my fiance. He noted that he could not find the leak but it will cost 1250 to fix. I'm baffled and concerned because on the side of my house the concrete is damp and so is the ground in that one area. How is it you can't find the leak and how do you fix something you can't find. I've called 3 times speaking to the young lady who answers the phone and every time she tells me I've told him you've called and he's supposed to call you back. Well I'm still waiting for that call. I want to move forward but how can I with this horrible communication. As an update. I did finally receive a call back and we're moving forward.

I called about a leak in my slab needing services. It was going to A WEEK before they could come out!?!?!?! Who can wait a WEEK when you have a leak!?!?!? Then they offered AFTERHOURS for an ADDITIONAL $300. How convenient on their part. I can't attest to their work since I can't get them in a timely fashion. =(

We are a professional swimming pool construction and service company, We ONLY use American Leak Detection for all our leak issues. Beth in the office and Chuck in the field make a great team. They handle the issues one by one and make sure we are aware of where things are at on each project. I would highly recommend using American Leak Detection for any and all pool leak issues.
