Aluminum Shake Roofing

Aluminum Shake was unable to help fix my kind of aluminum roof, but went out of their way to find someone who could help.

Brian Hasegawa and his team at Aluminum Shake Roofing are awesome! My 1st call to Brian was to inquire if they could help to pull a sample section of my old shingles so that I could file a claim with the manufacturer. Without hesitation or a commitment from me to use them for my new, Brian said that they can help. Brian and a worker showed up to pull the singles and replace with a temporary section, took pictures, and measurements needed to file the claim. Brian even mailed and submitted the claim for me for a very small fee (which was credited back to me on my purchase of the new roof). I decided that I wanted to move forward to replace my roof with Aluminum Shake Roofing. Brian explained the benefits and cost then had my estimate ready to review a few days. Brain also went to our Association to file the necessary paperwork for the permit and got the approvals from them. They did additional work by removing my existing solar fans, repaired the section since I was not going to replace them, and replaced some of the water damaged fascia around my roof. The roofing crew was very polite professional, and cleaned up after every work day! It's been been 4 months since I had my new Aluminum Shake Roof, we had heavy rain and gusty winds during these 4 months. I'm happy to report no issues and I have peace of mind that I have a solid roof over my house. Brain even did a follow up to see if everything was okay. I would highly recommend Aluminum Shake Roofing, Inc., Brian, his crew, and the product are great!

I can attest to the satisfaction side as well since they installed my roof just a few years ago. The team was very efficient, very organized and excellent at making sure we were aware of every step being taken. One thing that impressed me immensely was the fact that they did a very thorough clean up just to take a half hour break to eat lunch. Everything was put away as if they were leaving for the day, all just to take a half hour break.

Got an new roof from Aluminum Shake Roofing a few years ago and we were worried that if we installed PV panels on our roof that it would get damaged or start to leak. We called Fred and he explained the PV installation process and referred us to JSI solar. He also assured us that the guys could walk on the roof without damaging it. JSI solar did a great job, but Fred did a excellent job walking us through the whole thing.

Installment was good many years ago and would have given them a 5-star on this so called best product in industry, the Aluminum Country Manor Shake.

I called and Alum Shake Roofing will only come in between when they have time and not schedule this important replacement. It was disappointing the company doesn’t address the urgency for their customers who have portion of uncovered shake tiles subject to the weather.

Can't believe it's been 25 years since Fred installed our ASR roof. The aluminum roof looks and performs like new. One of the very best decisions we ever made. I'm thinking that many other roofing products would be needing repair/replacing by now. Well done Fred. You've made a lot of people very happy.

I highly recommend Aluminum Shake Roofing. Our house feels 50% cooler. It looks amazing, 100% better than I expected. The workers were professional and my neighbors all told me how respect they were. Fred is knowledgeable and was able to answer all of my questions and concerns. I was worried about an extension that we added and he was able to solve our problems.

Aluminum Shake roofing company did a fantastic job on my home. Removing tons of old wood shake and replacing it with aluminum shake. Just beautiful! The whole team are professional, respectful of privacy and property, clean and prompt! Fred knows his business and was a great resource. Replacing our skylights as well. Highly recommend !

We are very happy with our Aluminum shake roof. It was a little on the expensive side, but we saw it as an investment not an huge expense. The owner Fred was very knowledgeable and explained the benefit of buying an aluminum roof once, versus buying another wood shake roof and then having to replace it again in ten or twelve years. The crew was very professional and clean. They didn’t leave a mess and didn’t blast their radio. The house seems twenty degrees cooler and the roof still looks brand new.

Aluminum Shake Roofing saved us during the rainstorms of 2018 when our roof started leaking terribly. Didn't think it was possible, but they had a brand new roof on our house about 7 days from the call! Now we have an energy efficient lifetime roof we never have to worry about again. Looks great and works fine with PV and solar hot water.

We're very pleased with the great job that Aluminum Shake Roofing did on our roof. From Tearing off the old roof, to the Disposal of the rubbish, to the laying of the plywood sheets and the installation of the aluminum roofing everything was done quickly, neatly, and professionally. The workers were pleasant and hardworking and most importantly to us, cleaned up the area around the roof well. The Foreman, Jeffrey, listened to and answered our questions patiently and explained what was going to happen that day. The owners, Fred and Brian, were straight-forward and explained the product and roofing process clearly. To us, the company seemed "old school" where honesty and craftsmanship are high values that they take pride in. We never felt as if there was a "hidden agenda" as with the two other roofing companies that we got estimates from before choosing Aluminum Shake Roofing. One thing that we enjoy about our new aluminum roof is that the house is much cooler now!
