Dan Baker of Alta Vista not only provided the most competitive quote for a new combination metal & TPO (for the flat areas) roof at our home but he worked closely with us to be sure we installed the right new roof while explaining the pros & cons of our various combination of options. He and his team then showed up the week he had committed to, and performed the major job quickly, efficiently, with minimal impact on us, and cleaned up everything when they were done. The work appears excellent, and we are exceedingly pleased.

Bottom line up front: Every single aspect of our recent roof replacement was superb. I absolutely recommend Alta Vista Roofing and will only use their services in the future. I've used other roofers and to put it simply, Alta Vista does it better. Clearly there is a reason this company was voted Park City's Best twice and Neighborhood Favorites three times.

Joe and the roofing crew were exceptional. During the meeting at the house for an estimate, Joe instilled confidence, a sense of fairness, and was candid. He was easy to talk to, very friendly, and addressed all of my concerns and some I wasn't aware of. The conditions of the work agreement were very fair, comprehensive, and far more favorable than other scopes of work and bids.

Joe set a schedule and held true to it so we weren't left waiting for the work to get underway. He stayed in touch with us and was quick to respond to calls and texts. He also stopped in often to check in with me and exercise job oversight. His expertise in the business was evident. Joe took the time to do an after installation walk around with me and assured us that if any issues arise, Alta Vista would be quick to respond.

The roofing crew was as equally impressive. Guillermo was the crew boss and was incredible. The crew showed up on time, cleaned up after themselves everyday, clearly were seasoned professionals, and were courteous and respectful of us and our property. In addition to all the things you'd expect with a re-roof, Guillermo installed a metal slip-sheet to shed snow and ice(obviously a very skilled task), custom fabricated sheet metal joints where roof pitches meet, and custom fabricated a intricate multi-facititide metal piece to address a roof joint water shed problem. The crew wasn't watching the clock, they worked to do the job the right. They treated our home like it was their own.

Alta Vista Roofing replaced our roof this summer. Their initial estimate was done in the winter when our roof was covered in many feet of snow. When the snow finally melted, Dan inspected the roof, only to discover that the flashing around the 3 chimneys had been improperly installed 20 years ago, when the house was originally built. To make matters worse, one of the chimneys wasn’t installed correctly, which could have caused the roof to cave in or the stones to crash down over our deck. This chimney had to be completely rebuilt. It is a minor miracle that we didn’t have any issues this past winter. Dan sub-contracted with professionals to fix the flashing, move and re-seat the chimney stones, etc., before his crew continued their work. Throughout the process, Dan was in constant communication with us to ensure that we were in agreement with what needed to get done. The crew cleaned up the deck, yard, and driveway and hauled away the debris, ensuring that no nails would puncture our tires. We were very happy with the work that Dan and Alta Vista did, and we highly recommend them when you need a new roof.

Alta Vista did a fantastic job installing a new roof for us. They did the roof installation on the day that was promised and finished earlier than promised. The property was clean with no debris. We were thrilled by the workmanship and professionalism from the Alta Vista team. Dan guided us through the project from start to finish and provided education based on his 15+ years of experience in the industry. We took their advice to heart because they approach their clients with the attitude of "if it were my own home I would...". We were never sold something we didn't need. They even found a way to vent our bathroom fan midway through the project. There was excellent communication throughout (daily calls/texts with project updates and what to expect).
