ALL Star Insulation & Siding

I’m absolutely stunned by how poorly this company handles customer service. While the installation itself went alright, I’ve been unsuccessfully trying to schedule repairs for over a year. When I called recently, the owner was shockingly rude and completely refused to assist me. He demanded that I find some ancient paper proposal to provide him with the exact date—just so he could “look me up.” Who even keeps paper proposals in this day and age? Because I couldn’t produce this irrelevant document, I was told I couldn’t schedule any repairs. This is beyond ridiculous, and the level of disrespect is unreal. I feel scammed, and I would strongly warn others to stay far away from this company.

All star siding went above and beyond did the best job I could ever imagine on my house. Very very very happy with them. Awesome people I’d give them five stars all day long.

They replaced my windows and added some siding to part of the house a few years ago. First of all, I should have pulled the plug when the founder, who does the home estimates, asked me if I was worried about my soul and what was going to happen after I die, and if I had found Jesus. But I was already deep enough into the process that I just wanted it done.
I told them that there was a leak somewhere where the dormer met the roof, and to look at it and let me know what they thought. They "added some extra flashing" when they installed the siding, but that was it. It didn't do anything, because the actual problem was with the gutters, which is supposed to be one of their specialties. Shortly after they worked on my house, another person correctly identified the problem.
They left kind of a mess, with nails all over the place. And the installation of the windows was less than perfect. There are a few where there are small gaps between the bottom of the screen frame and the window sill.
My feeling was that they wanted my business more than they wanted to do a good job.

I had all star siding company install new vinyl siding and gutters on my house. After 1 year siding on front of house became faded and blotchy. Owner came out and said manufacturer problem. He recommended me to contact mastic plygem to see what they could do. I did and sent sample to them with problem. They said didn’t fall into their warranty. I contacted allstar and told them manufacturer wouldn’t help me. Owner of Allstar said he would try. Never heard back from him. I got a lawyer and they sent registered letter to mastic plygem with no luck. I would never ever recommend Allstar siding and mastic plygem products. John

We recently had our house sided and new gutters installed. Candy was wonderful to work with and the crew did a fabulous job from start to finish. I highly recommend All Star. We love the results.

I needed a trim piece made for my grand parents garage. They had it made and ready before I could blink. Good local buisness.

All Star did a fabulous job bringing curb appeal back to my house with an excellent vinyl siding installation. They were prompt in communicating with me during all phases of the project, from estimate to job completion. The siding itself is high quality and looks great, they cleaned up flawlessly when the job was done, and their price couldn’t be beat. I would absolutely use them again for future projects.

This company did a poor gutter insulation. Part of the gutters became unattached right away and the owner refused to fix it. I had to call another company who found that the gutter guards they installed were used and were all cracked and split. The gutter were poorly installed with shoddy or even use materials. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

I would not recommend this company simply based on their customer service. It took well over a week to get an estimate back when it was explained to them we needed this done soon. It was also explained that we were going to do an Energy rebate with our town and Ed said he was familiar with that. Once the estimate was received I asked if he could provide us w/ a breakdown of cost for each item in order to show how much was spent on insulation and air sealing. There is a certain amount allowed for each product and it has to show how much was allocated for that product (i.e insulation and air sealing) and he did not want to provide that info and said that he didnt want to work w/ me because I live in Westfield and would be doing the rebate program. He was quite rude and abrupt w/ me and I think he felt offended when I questioned his knowledge on the air sealing. I work in customer service and do all that I can to help my clients and find them the right insurance. I will certainly not be recommending this company to anyone.

Very good construction company.They did a good job on home with a very reasonable price & fast! Can't go wrong & I'd hire them again,only minor gripe might be that there was still some bits of debree around [they cleaned up most of it though!] & some cigarrette butts on the ground & the driveway was blocked for awhile with their truck & equipment,but they were cool about moving truck so we could get out,but hey-no major sweat & not worth chipping a star off review,Nothing's perfect. Good people, family owned.Hire them,you won't be sorry!just tell them ''no butts about it''[lol!] in response to owner, don't bother looking into matter,that was a different crew from 7 years ago.No of the recent crew smoked & I'm really not sweating it at all.

I've got lot's of firsthand experience with this company. They're professional & deliver on what they promise. Highly recommend calling them for an estimate.
