Stone Mountain Roofing did an excellent job re-shingling my roof! The work was completed in just one day and the team did a great job of cleaning up afterwards. Matt and Hailey were an absolute delight to work with. I recommend this company highly!

We had three quotes, all in the ballpark with each other but Stone Mountain was, by far the most knowledgeable and professional of them all. I liked the product and the way our options were laid out. We were actually out of town on the day of installation but our neighbors were thoroughly impressed with the work and the speed with which it was done. We arrived back a day later and, honestly, the place was spotless — they raked the leaves and cleaned the grill. We couldn’t be happier! Stone Mountain is doing two other houses on our street now. I can’t recommend Stone Mountain Roofing enough. From start to finish, the experience was seamless. Their office manager Hailey is kind, helpful, and incredibly responsive. It is extremely apparent that the owner, Matt, is an expert in his field, while also honest, detail-oriented, and committed to quality. His crew was efficient and hardworking, completing a full roof replacement (including plywood replacement) in just one day. I haven't had the pleasure of buying a roof from Stone Mountain Roofing, but the next time I need one I definitely will. I got involved with them because my insurance company had been snooping around a rental property I own and had demanded that I get a roof inspection in order to keep my insurance. I called Stone Mountain and explained the situation, expecting to need to pay some chunk of change for that service, but Matt said that they didn't charge for estimates, and that an estimate included the kind of assessment and inspection that my insurance company was asking for. He came out and took what probably added up to half of his day to inspect my roof and write up an estimate, for no charge. He impressed the heck out of my property manager with his knowledge, being able to tell at a glance what the roof was, color, shingle type, age, everything. He also inspected it thoroughly, looking in the attic and pointing out the problems that existed. Those problems are minor, and while he did provide a replacement cost (which was very reasonable and about what we'd paid maybe 18 years ago when the roof was installed) he was honest and said it didn't need replacement yet, just maintenance and minor repairs. These are good people and deserve your business. When we do return to New England and move back into that house I'm absolutely going to hire Stone Mountain to put a new roof on it!

Best roofing experience ever. Matt, the office, and the roofing team were accessible and responsive and helpful, flexible too. Then there's the cost, which was competitive and reasonable (ours is a big and complicated roof). This was a very nice, respectful and skilled group. Matt at Stone Mountain was recommended to me by two places. He set an appointment to assess my roof, brought a ladder, communicated clearly, set expectations well, gave me samples of his work with the shingles I chose, dropped sample shingle colors off at my house, underpromised and over-delivered. They had a long-ish lead time, but I was able to wait and willing to wait since I know that quality is important when you’re protecting your home from the elements (my previous roof wasn’t old, but it was improperly installed before I bought my house). Matt offered a fair price and I am incredibly happy with his crew, their workmanship, communication with Matt, his paperwork process and his professionalism. They also went around my hard with a magnet roller afterwards to pick up any stray debris that may have occurred when stripping an old roof. We need more contractors like this in the Valley. Stone Mountain Roofing was beyond my expectations. I generally get 3 estimates for any work around the house and was very pleased with the promptness and review of the damage to my roof. Matt was very professional in all aspects of the job and kept me wll informed of any changes or issues that cropped up. The roof work was done as described and the yard was left cleaner than when they started. The receptionist was always pleasant to deal with and getting in touch with them was never an issue. Overall I am extremely pleased with my roof job and might I add, the estimate was the lowest of the 3 that I got. This was not the reason I went with them but more the personalities of the people that I worked with. Great team at Stone Mountain Roofing!!!

Work was done very well - hardest working group I've ever seen. Cleanup was great - I was worried about finding nails,etc. but the girl that was doing most of the cleanup all day was great---she deserves a raise. Neighbors have commented on how great it looks. Thank you.

I’m extremely happy with my new roof. I checked around, got several quotes, and while Matt’s wasn’t the lowest, it wasn’t the highest either, and do you really ever want to go with the lowest bidder? I’m a big believer in you get what you pay for, and from the initial contact with Matt and his company to the completion of the job, everything was done as specified, on time, and completely professionally. The workmanship was excellent. Cleanup was thorough. I highly respect the way this company does business.

I have nothing but praise for Matt and his crew. I walked away from my initial meeting with Matt feeling confident that I could trust him and that he would do a good job. Stone Mountain did a great job! They were prompt and professional. Two other local companies gave us estimates by Google Earth photography, but SM came out in person, climbed on the roof to look at it and gave us a reasonable estimate. When they started the job, it turned out that our roof was in way worse shape than originally planned for and they took care of replacing some very damaged plywood underneath the original roof. And when there was a minor issue (that they had accidentally caused) they owned up to it immediately and fixed it at no additional charge. Would highly recommend.

I had a great experience with Stone Mountain Roofing. The crew was polite, respectful and quick! They were careful to cover my plants and shrubs, made a tent over the A/C unit to ensure we could run it without fear of getting any debris into it. The roofing work itself was substantially complete in less than a day, with only clean-up remaining, which was done very thoroughly. The crew use magnet rollers on the grass to make sure that stray nails are found and retrieved. Finally, the owner came by the next day to make sure I was satisfied, which was very much appreciated. While there are local roofing companies that have been around for much longer than Stone Mountain, I felt that they went the extra mile to provide a personal customer service experience that distinguishes them from the pack.

Professional company. Communication was quick (responses within just a few hours). Workers were diligent, friendly and cleaned up around the house thoroughly. Where minor damage occurred to the home (slate roof tiles falling, bouncing back up and damaging the siding), Stone Mountain Roofing was on site within a week with replacement siding to put the home back to pre-existing conditions. Would recommend to others.

The entire process with Stone Mountain was seamless. From calling the main office and getting an immediate answer to my phone call, to scheduling the initial evaluation by the owner, to the final install. The price was set late last year and tentatively scheduled for March, as I told them my Solar system install would be happening in April. An 8 man crew arrived at 7:00am on March 18th. I had moved what I thought was everything out of the way. Unfortunately, there was still stuff in the way but the crew moved it. They worked diligently for 8 and 1/2 hours and then proceeded to cleanup. After blowing leaves out of the way to make sure there weren't anymore hidden nails or shingle pieces, all 8 of them literally walked side by side around the house making sure there wasn't one piece of debris left. My yard and patios were cleaner than when they arrived. The roof looks amazing and I can't say enough good things about this company. I highly recommend them!

I asked a trusted local contractor who they would use for their own roofing, and they referred me to Stone Mountain Roofing. Matt was full of information, and offered several solutions to my roof issue, including one I could do on my own. Curious, I did get a second opinion from another local business, and their repair quote was on par for the work, but would cost almost three times more. I immediately abandoned the option to do the work myself, and gratefully paid Stone Mountain to do the work. I could not be any more pleased with the results!

We hired Stone Mountain Roofing after having a series of unsatisfying experiences with other local roofers in obtaining quotes. Matt was able to come directly to our home, assess our needs, and answered questions we didn't even know we had! An extremely different experience than with other companies, who either had a constant upsell strategy or gave us a vague quote that required lots of follow up questions. The quality of the work was excellent, the roofing team were professional and cleaned up everything really well, and we couldn't be happier. We had a major issue with the roof (water damaged rafters) and the team had a ready solution and honest advice. The end price tag was higher than we initially thought due to needing unexpected rafter shoring and plywood replacement, but we were warned this might be the case given the circumstances and they were accommodating to our needing an extended payment schedule. (And still, the price was reasonable given the other quotes we received from other companies!) A strong recommend for Easthampton!

We called Stone Mountain when our roof began leaking in early spring. Matt came out and inspected the roof and noted the area where the roof was leaking. We received our estimate a few days later and signed the contract promptly. Since the schedule was full at that time, Matt came out and patched the roof. When the day came for our roof installation, the workers arrived at the scheduled time and immediately covered or moved items around the perimeter of the house. All the workers were respectful and professional. When their work was completed, they spent a significant amount of time cleaning up the yard, removing debris and cleaning up nails. We couldn't be happier with the Stone Mountain Roofing Company and their workers and the appearance of our new roof. We would recommend them to anyone needing their services.

We had our entire roof replaced in preparation for installing solar panels, so the work had to be coordinated with the solar company as well as the weather. Stone Mountain a quality job, on time, and with minimal disruption to us.. They always responded to our questions and concerns.There was one minor glitch, but they dealt with it and were willing to go to the trouble and expense necessary to make sure we were satisfied. We have since recommended them to our own family members.

I love this company - they are impressive. I got a response from the office staff within 24 hrs of my inquiry and Matt, the owner, came out to talk to me within another 24 hrs. He had already obtained satellite photos of the roof and had the measurements from that. He only took a few minutes of my time, and told me that while most work was being scheduled for April, he could get us in within the week because we had had a leak. Materials were delivered when he said they would be, and the crew showed up bright and early on the appointed day and were all done and cleaned up by 2 pm. They even cleaned our gutters!!! Also, the project was under budget because he had anticipated having to install plywood, since we had boards and no plywood, but they discovered that the boards were tongue-and-groove so plywood was unnecessary. We are so happy with the work and the professionalness and courtesy of the crew and the owner.

These guys were amazing. We had a leak around a brick chimney
in our 1954 Cape style house. They came quickly ,gave us an estimate.which was more than fair. Then they came and did the job quickly and cleanly. I can't say enough god things about them.
If we ever need another repair or when it's time to re shingle. They will get the call. Five stars wouldn't be enough.

Highly recommended! A strait forward no nonsense roofing company! Matt's crew was on the roof at 7 am, stripped by 8:10 and done around 4:30 pm. Everything was squeaky clean before they packed up and all equipment was delivered and removed on time leaving a high quality crafted roof........Flawless!
