Tried to set up an estimate. They called back a week later after another company had already given me a thorough inspection and estimate. Here's where the fun begins.
3 separate people called me back in the following week, all 3 of which I explained to that they missed the opportunity to give me an estimate. By the third person, it was not a friendly conversation anymore. Now, I receive a "potential spam call" every other day. If I answer the call, no one is on the other end of the line. If I call the number back, it directs me to their (all-american roofing) automated system. The number that calls me is different every time. So even though I block and report each number a new one calls.
Do not give this awful company any business.
Extremely dissatisfied with my treatment and how this experience unfolded. Let me explain.
I called over a month ago and spoke to Candace, who was more than pleasant. We were purchasing a house in Hellertown PA and knew the roof was nearing end of its’ life, plus had some flashers and some shingles to repair, so we wanted a full roof replacement estimate since it’s going to be needed soon & would happily pay for the other work to make it not just a exploratory visit. We were told to call back once we officially owned home, no problem at all.
Fast forward to June, and I call back to find “Candace” apparently does not work there anymore & RJ would help us secure the appointment instead. Not really a great reflection on this company, but OK. Setup an appointment for 7PM the next day, and I oversee a local business & commute quite a ways, so I scheduled my following day accordingly so I could be there as they required it. Which no other roofing company has since required.
12PM the next day comes along and a gentleman named Josh calls me to tell me they won’t be honoring our appointment & apparently both RJ & Candace made a “mistake” in accepting our business as we’re outside of their coverage area. I quickly told Josh that wasn’t OK because I coordinated my schedule & plans to make this appointment work, and had 3-4 different phone calls & emails prior to this. I too manage people & I frequently have to make things work if someone makes a mistake accepting or giving information. Josh didn’t seem to care all too much, got the equivalent of a shrug over the phone, and that was that. The ultimate kicker? I was referred here… by someone LOCAL to me. Which means I wasn’t “outside of their coverage area,” it just meant that they didn’t value my time, my business, or apparently their word and determined it wasn’t worth the distance for their roofer(s) that day to assist me. Not sure how they maintain a high Google Rating with that kind of experience, if that’s how I treated my customers we would get slaughtered online.
