We own (for 30 years) a large home in the historic district and each year decide on a major project. This year it was the back porch flat rubber membrane roof. A total replacement. Ryan and his team from Alexander Home Services came to me from a niece and we proceeded and are completely delighted with the result. They were fast, professional, friendly and the price was reasonable. I am an architect and sometimes know more than I should about buildings, but I heartily endorse this company and will use and refer them again.

What a wonderful experience with this company. Fair pricing and an awesome crew. I had severe roofing problems not covered by insurance. I chose this company as they seemed fair and reasonable. My roof issues were way more severe once the subpar roofing had been removed, but they were able to explain everything, showed pictures of the needed work, and were upfront the entire way. The workers were completely committed to doing a great job. There were even a couple women on my crew who were awesome. As an army veteran, gulf war veteran, and a woman, I really have nothing but praise for a business that respects and allows women to do the jobs that were once only possible for men. Alex has been friendly, attentive, and organized throughout the adoption process. Hunter is receiving heartworm treatment, and Alexander Home Services guarantees they will cover the treatment costs until Hunter is heartworm-free. Both Hunter and I are very thankful about this and all they have done to ensure a smooth adoption process.

We had Alexander Home Services come out for a smaller project but they treated it with the care of a large project. We asked for about a 20 foot gutter run on a 2nd story to help divert rain and snow melt to a different channel. We would highly recommend them and plan to use them in the future for any other projects we may have!

Did great work! This was for a 25 unit condo association! Good price! They cleaned up every evening and completed the project in the timeframe given. Working with Ryan was a good experience. He communicated throughout the installation. He was on site the day after completion using a magnet to go over the work zone one last time to make sure we had no issues with nails! Our commercial building needed a new roof. After getting a few bids, I saw an ad for Alexander Home Services. Their bid was less than the others and they could work around our business schedule. I found Alexander Home Services via Facebook advertisement. Once I learned they were local to my area, and after examining their website, I decided to pursue an estimate to re-roof my home.

Getting an appointment to meet was easy and quick. Their pricing was better than other quotes I had received, and the communication was prompt and thorough. Had a great experience working with Ryan, and his samples as my project required matching the existing shingles on my garage. Really appreciated the time invested to cover that task.

He built the black frame to my catio in 2018 and I have been able to upgrade the interior into a great space. The enclosure is holding up well even in 2023. Solidly built.

We hired Alexander Home Services to replace our windows, roofing, and siding. While Luke and Alex were very polite and friendly, we had problem after problem with the work done on our house. From the beginning, they would rarely (if ever) do site visits to manage subcontractors. The first subs to come work removed our old roof and then just left, leaving an enormous hole open to the interior attic of the house. Nobody came to fix this for three days until I called to find out what was going on. Once the new roof was installed, we had an enormous leak inside the house. They did not come to look at themselves but sent an assistant to check, who came while we weren’t home and looked at the wrong side of the house despite clear instructions. It took a lot of frustrating communication to get the leak repaired. Now, 6 months after the “repair” we have a leak AGAIN in the same location. Our attempts to communicate have gone unanswered so we are having to hire another company to fix their poor work. The window order was done incorrectly THREE times, totaling over six months of back-and-forth. They did not order picture windows we requested and did not order frosted windows for our bathrooms, despite many communications clarifying the order. At the end of the project there were a lot of construction materials (shingles, plywood, etc) left at the house for weeks that we requested be picked up. They sent an assistant to pick it up, and again even with clear instructions, he went to a closed shed and took our personal air compressor. If I hadn’t been home and seen it, he would have taken our air compressor and we wouldn’t have known until it was too late. Being friendly as a business owner is nice, but their project management skills left a lot to be desired and our ongoing issues with the roof make me question the quality of the work.

Great experience working with Alexander Home Services from storm damage on our roof and gutters. They walked us through the process and made it simple and stress free! We love our roof and later hired them to do our kitchen remodel and some painting! We highly recommend Alexander Home Services and the team there!!

Friendly, hard-working people. Excellent results. Quickly painted our house in just a few days which would have taken us all summer. We totally recommend them. When our next job comes up, they are the ones we will call.

We paid them to paint the ceilings of the main level. Initially, it was great communication. After they painted the ceilings, they took down all of the plastic coverings and said we should wait a couple days for it to soak in and see how it looks. That was almost a month ago. We have tried contacting them 4 times since then and have yet to receive a response. Very disappointed.

Alex and his team did an amazing job with staining our deck. The price was great and was also all inclusive using top of the line Cobalt stain. This stain was recommended, but we could have chosen anything which was great. The day he came to pressure wash, he also brought along a book of samples for us to choose from as well. Do yourself a favor, and call these guys for your next project. I would have wasted a great weekend trying to do this on my own, and likely spent more money,, but instead they knocked it out on the weekdays. Top notch service, doesn't rush, etc. Very highly recommended!
