I bought supplies for a privacy fence from Lowes. The Lowes delivery and installation could NOT get it together.
Ray if this company saved the day. He sent his crew here the first time and not all the supplies were here.
Ray immediately reached out and we rescheduled my work and he sent his crew to pick up the materials.
Needless to say...I will not use Lowes again!

Alegra Construction did fantastic work in remodeling our bathrooms (2). The crew was timely, more than timely actually, they worked steady and the final product is perfect. Robert and Martin were so polite and courteous and they are welcome back to our home anytime. We highly recommend Alegra and we will certainly use them again. Unfortunately I was very disappointed in my experience with Alegre Construction. The joists of my trex deck were rotting and they provided a quote to remove the decking, replace the joists and reassemble the trex deck. Here is the summary version of items and what has lead me to writing this review:
1. Long story short, when we let our dog out one morning we noticed he was spending a lot of time in one spot, where the Alegre Construction crew had been the previous evening when they finished our job. A couple of hours later our dog became very sick and we took him to the emergency vet. Turns out he had ingested marijuana (listed on ER vet report) and there is 0% chance it came from my family or anyone associated with us. I immediately called Andrew Alegre and angrily discussed this with him on the way home from the ER vet.
2. Nails & Screws left behind - As you can see from one of the pictures, when they finished our job, there was no effort made to clean up rusted nails, screws, etc. Luckily my father in law had bought me a rolling magnet a few months prior. We have 4 young children so we decided to roll it in the yard where the work was being done to pick up anything that may have been missed. Turns out, we picked up over 600 nails, screws, etc. even a drill bit and piece of a saw. We were mortified by what we found which was probably going to be an ER visit for our kids when playing in the yard. When the Alegre guys were out a week later finishing the electrical work on the deck, one of them (separate crew) I saw take pictures of the pile of nails and then they quickly cleaned it up. No one ever reached out to me on this, it was like they were hoping we never said anything or addressed.
3. Steps not to code - As you can see from one of the pictures, the bottom step of the steps they reassembled, the first step is not nearly to code. The first step is almost 10.5 inches high and code should be a maximum of around 7 inches....which is what they were previously. We were so fed up with dealing with the other issues, that we didn't even address this with them to correct it because we had no confidence in their work.
With all of this said, I had called Andrew and said that I would like an in-person meeting with him and his father or whoever needed to be there to discuss the issues I had. He agreed and then never got back to me, just continued to text from that point on. I think he did not want to sit down and take responsibility for all of the issues, which is probably the most disappointing part, they just wanted to finish the job and move on.
To be transparent, I gave 2 stars instead of 1 because Andrew did seem to at least want to finish the job and apply some effort. He stated that he fired the crew responsible for the issues above and did send an electrical crew out to complete the lighting job on the deck, as well as a mason to complete the stone work....all part of the original quote/scope of work though. Many of the issues can probably be contributed to the particular crew we had, but there still should be a project manager with oversight as well as leadership sitting down with anyone who has had these issues to offer some type of personal conversation, apology and how they are going to learn from this to get better as an organization. Overall, a very disappointing experience that could have been handled much better.

The average roof replacement cost for a residential home typically ranges from $7,000 to $15,000, depending on factors such as roof size, chosen materials, roof pitch, and labor rates in your area. Premium materials or complex designs may increase the price.
The cost to replace the roof of a commercial building typically ranges from $5 to $12 per square foot, depending on several factors such as roof size, material, labor rates, building type, and local code requirements.
Several factors influence roof repair cost, including the extent of the damage, roof accessibility, material type, labor costs, and whether it’s a general repair or an emergency fix. Minor repairs can start around $150–$400, while major repairs may exceed $1,500.
Roof leak repair cost generally ranges from $300 to $800, depending on the size and location of the leak, the materials required, and labor intensity. Complex leaks involving structural repairs or interior damage will cost more.
Flat roof repair cost for commercial properties usually ranges from $500 to $3,000, depending on the roofing material (TPO, EPDM, PVC), the extent of the damage, and roof accessibility.
Mobile home roof replacement cost typically ranges from $3,000 to $8,000, making it generally more affordable than traditional home roof replacements, due to smaller size and simpler structure.
It's not necessary to stay home during roof replacement. Roofing work is noisy and can cause vibrations inside the house, which might be uncomfortable. Most homeowners choose to leave during major parts of the project, but our team ensures safety and keeps you updated, whether you're home or not.
The timeline for a roof replacement typically ranges from one to three days, depending on the size and complexity of the roof, weather conditions, and material type. Larger or more intricate roofs may take a bit longer, but we always aim for efficient, timely completion.
To hire a roofing contractor, start by researching local companies with good reviews and proper licensing. Request quotes from multiple contractors, verify their insurance and certifications, and ask for references. Always ensure you get a written contract that outlines the scope of work, timeline, and payment terms.
Check if a roofing company is legit by verifying their business license, insurance, and local certifications. Look for memberships in professional associations, read customer reviews, and ask for recent project references. A legitimate company will be transparent and provide all documentation upon request.
When choosing a roofing company, consider their experience, customer reviews, warranty offerings, and quality of materials. Make sure they provide clear communication, detailed estimates, and a solid portfolio of completed projects. Local expertise is also a major advantage for understanding regional roofing needs.
Warning signs that your roofing contractor might be ripping you off include vague contracts, pressure to pay large upfront deposits, lack of proper documentation, and unexplained price increases. Always ask for itemized estimates and written guarantees, and avoid contractors who avoid answering your questions directly.
