Albany Oregon Gutter Service

Long story short I spent $2000 and within 60 days my gutters crumpled and bent without being touched. I am told on runs longer than 30 feet they should have put a splitter or joint to allow for contraction. My run on each side of the shop is 60 feet long. I called and sent pictures to Oregon gutter to which they respond sorry you're out of luck it's due to the cold and hot of contraction and expansion. I thought they were the professionals. They proceed to tell me they should have installed an expansion joint on anything over a 30 foot run but they didn't! Why didn't they install my gutters correctly? Now they won't even call me back. I have called the owner he won't call me back either. All this after my business and a $3500 referral to a co worker before I had this issue. I would never recommend this company to anyone else ever and I had 4 other friends needing gutters. I guess this is customer service at its best for this company instead of fixing the problem just ignore it maybe it will go away since they already got paid. I won't go away. Don't waste your time look at other reviews and use a different company. Thanks for reading this. Good luck everyone. Do your research before hiring this company. They need to resolve this issue they caused as I will not go away until it is resolved. thank you. Very sad this is what customer service has come to in 2023 for certain businesses. Called the 800 number & scheduled an estimate to have our gutters cleaned, which was nearly double ($375) of what our former Gutter Cleaner charged ($190). Scheduled the work, & a couple of rather young chaps showed up to clean the gutters, & they were done & left the job in just under 20 minutes. Sadly, during the very next moderate rainfall that came right after the cleaning, the problem area where the water flowed over the gutter, was still there. It was if all the gutters hadn't been cleaned, & it's sad to pay double the cost for half the quality.

I reached out to this company for a gutter estimate the gentleman showed up and presented a really good price for entire house installation we accepted and was put on the schedule. That is where thing got bad the day of my install came and 30 minuets before my job i was contacted by the office telling me the job previous had issues and they could not get to me that day now this was at 230pm it gets dark around 8pm but what ever i said ok expecting that i would just be the first appointment the next day, nope not at all infact the sent a message saying i was put back on the schedule a week out. I then called the office and spoke with katy/ Kaitlyn and when i asked why she said"my scheduling dept has not arrived yet" which i found odd since they had already scheduled me out a week. After a few phones calls on my ebd not there i finally just canceled our buisness . But they had taken 400 up front on a card . I was then told that they would issue me a check as a refund but her accounting lady is on "vacation" and wont be back in till Monday. Everything about this experience has made me feel like this company is out to take money but not provide a service.

Horrible Gutters from an unprofessional company. I have requested a refund and damages to my homes flashing and facia boards repaired. This company does not and will not accept that they made mistakes nor will they correct them. Customers satisfaction is not guaranteed or necessary to this company. They have an F with the BBB and they have multiple lawsuits pending. I believe their employees were intoxicated, high or a little of both when they installed these eye sores. Also the round drain adapter is used for round downspouts not rectangle, I believe that class was kindergarten. The downspouts do not get fastened with screws in them, the straps go around them and are screwed into the siding. Use touch-up paint when you make mistakes like excessive crimping of end caps or when your hardware does not match the color of the downspouts. Oh yeah, end caps should also be parallel with pretty much anything on the home and they only need to go past the shingles by a couple millimeters not inches. Gutters should start a "tiny" bit higher in places where the water will need to flow down stream to the downspout. There should not be an excessive and noticeable inch difference with waves throughout the gutter. If this company needs a real Supervisor/Manager/Forman let me know. Before I joined the military and became a seasoned Veteran, I worked for a gutter company that actually aimed to satisfy customers, even if it was raining or freezing out.

Installed a gutter. Workers were polite and professional and worked with me on the best way to align the gutter drain spout to fit my needs.

We had gutters and down spouts installed on our barn. The price was right and the job was completed a day ahead of schedule.
The employees all were very pleasant and did a great job. We are very happy. We will use, and recommend, these guys again for any gutter projects we have in the future.

Really great follow up after coming out to quote to get us scheduled. Installers were professional and courteous. Really happy with their work and service.

Horrible, regrettable experience. See the Better Business Bureau complaints, which I should have done before hiring this company. They have several locations, my experience was with the Lebanon/Albany branch. They take the money! But, have no accountability regarding the quality of the work, nor indeed, whether the products are the best solution for the environment. Costly mistake that will need to be redone, this time by a reputable company that considers viable solutions, not just a quick buck.

They fit my small job in and did a fantastic job. I have used them twice and both times have been very happy with their work and their value

Very knowledgeable, good sized crew, work done very quickly. They sealed 8 gutter corners that were starting to leak and I didn’t have to get on a ladder this year - Yeah! Thanks!!

If you just want gutters, Oregon Gutter Service installers did a great job. Despite misgivings, based on the false information provided by Tom Braun who did our estimate, we chose to add gutter guards to our new gutters. Huge mistake. The very first rain, they failed. It may be hard to see from the photo which was taken just a couple of weeks after installation, the water, instead of collecting in the gutters, cascades over the gutters. The slightest amount of tree debris causes the gutter guards to fail. Despite weeks of seeking removal and a refund from Oregon Gutter Service, we have received nothing but procrastination and refusal to return calls. The gutter guards are a colossal mistake.

I was impressed with the quality of workmanship and the courtesy of the workmen. They arrived did the work in a professional manner. When they were done they asked me to inspect their work which I did and it was a quality installation. I would confidently recommend this company to anyone needing gutter work.

We chose this company after being blown off a handful of times by another local company to install our gutters on a new shop and gazebo that we had built on our property.

Oregon Gutter staff, from beginning to end were very friendly, fast with their quote/install and their quality of work was spot on.

Arrived when expected. Good communication about the job. Decided to go with 6" instead of 5" on their recommendation and it was worth it. Got right to work, removed and hauled away old gutter, and were in and out in about 5 hours. Very happy.

Very pleased with the new gutters. The workmen did a good job. They were focused on their work and got it done in a timely manner. It is of note that the workmen were very pleasant and finished up by a good lob of cleaning up. I would definitely recommend.

I'm truly amazed that there are not more negative reviews on this clearly cash strapped low quality customer service business.
When we first called the number on the Lebanon site (can't find on Google) in mid-September everything was good. They sent a gentleman out within days and he was very respectful honest and straight forward. We waited awhile to accept their quote so we could get more offers.
We finally chose Oregon Gutter Service of Lebanon based on internet reviews and the impression given by the person that gave us the quote. This wasn't the lowest quote by any means, however I felt as if they were the best most professional choice. We set an appointment (received confirmation email) for the 10th of October .
On the October 8th I was contacted via text and was told they had another appointment in the area on the 16th and if we would like our job done then as well. When I responded that I was under the impression my appointment was on the 10th. They took almost an entire day to get back to me. At which point they apologized for the confusion and again offered a job date of the 16th. Proceeded there after to say they would look into why there was a conflict and I could receive a less than 4% discount on my job take it on the 16th or cancel my job!
The next day (my scheduled job date) I contacted what I thought was a different home office with the belief that who I had been dealing with was just an employee not very good at their job. During that email exchange I found out that the reason my job needed move was someone was sick. So apparently someone knew they would be sick 2 days out! I was also again offered the discount and job date of the 16th they just needed my 50% deposit with a lot of fluff about how they've never not retuned a deposit never done this or that(if you look enough through reviews and their responses they don't line up). When I asked for this date and discount in writing, as I'm sliding them a few hundred dollars for a job they've already no showed for, I was told they were sorry it was all their fault but they don't want my business.
They want you're money upfront so you won't waste their time and charge you if they cant do the job on time because of anything out of their control (3x what they offered me for their error). But heaven forbid you ask for assurances. They sent me elsewhere to "other great business in the area".
We called back another quote we had within a few weeks we had new gutters. They made their appointment on time completed the job swiftly and didn't ask for a penny untill the job was done, clearly they have their business held together better than this 30yr old company that clearly still relies on deposits because that can't manage money well.

Oregon gutter came out and installed new gutters on my house...about 100 feet, including downspouts. The 3 man crew was a fantastic. They were courteous, helpful, and made some adjustments during install to address some of my concerns. They were also blazingly fast. Put it all up in about 2 hours. It was impressive to watch them work. I would not hesitate to hire them for any future work.

We recently had selected Oregon Gutter Service (Lebanon location) to install new aluminum gutters on our 1960's vintage home. We had excellent service from original estimate by Tom Braun on June 26th to installation by Micha and his crew on July 8th. Very quick, friendly and efficient service from start to finish. Micha's crew worked as a team.

Unfortunately on the next day (today) I noticed that the incorrect gutter guards had been installed, but once again within minutes of notifying Oregon Gutter their efficiency showed its face and we were on their schedule to replace the guards within 2 days.

I will surely recommend Oregon Gutter Service to all my friends.

**Update on my original review posted 1/11/19, which will be 2 weeks tomorrow. We have not heard a word from Oregon Gutter Service (besides their reply below) since the 11th. Today is Jan 24th. The job STILL has not been finished and Oregon Gutter Service has put zero effort into communicating directly with us about the back ordered parts that were supposedly picked up by the manager last week. This has such a frustrating experience and since the job isn't complete who knows how much longer it will drag on.

We have been very, very disappointed with Oregon Gutter Service in Albany. On 11/30/2018 we scheduled to have our gutters replaced and paid half of the balance due to confirm the work. They came out about a week later & replaced our gutters & down spouts but they did not have the transition pieces to finish the job.
3 different times now they have scheduled a time with us to come back to our house to finish the work and 3 times they have not shown up. My husband has had to call each time and they keep telling us the transition pieces aren't in and they don't know when they will be here. They cannot provide us with a ship date of these parts and we keep getting the run around.
It doesn't make sense to us that they have supposedly ordered these parts but they don't know when the parts will be here. It also doesn't make sense that they have scheduled the job 3 different times when they don't have the parts they need.
It is now over a MONTH later and the job is still not complete, the down spouts aren't connected to anything and so all that water goes down the down spout and into our driveway, yard, sidewalk & garden.......
I would absolutely NOT recommend Oregon Gutter Service and we are so incredibly frustrated with their service! The only positive note is that the guys who do the actual installation were very nice and they did a good job on the part that was completed.

A very easy company to deal with. I called and asked for an estimate. A few days later they visited my home (while I was at work) and was given a reasonable price. I then scheduled the gutters to be installed (and the old to be removed) a few weeks later. The crew came (again, while I was at work) and I was pleasantly surprised to see the job was completed by the time I got home. I was properly billed (you might be surprised at how many contractors screw this up) a few days later. I paid the bill and everyone was happy. I've already recommended Oregon Gutter to several of my neighbors.

These guys were in the neighborhood while we were outside. We asked them about problem we were having with a gutter overflowing. They fixed it for us on the spot!! So awesome! Thank you for being caring and responsive...we will be calling you for all our future gutter needs :)

Not impressed was lead to them through a web site asked them to clean gutters.. Made a deal .. payed half... then they didn't show up .. did get a phone call asking to reschedule after i have taken time off work. Things happen i get that.. Was told i would be getting a phone call the following Monday around 10 am, yeah didn't happen took an early and extended break from work so i could reschedule.. After almost two hours of waiting called told them i was upset was told someone would get back to me... Yeah 4 hours later i just called and canceled, was told I would get my money back ... Yeah .. that has not happened either. ( Better Business Bureau my next stop) . So just be careful when dealing with them .. Do not get Robbed !!!

This company has no respect to customer’s time. The simple gutter cover project drags for 6 weeks after I put $740 dollars deposit in their pocket! And they wasted my 2 leave days on Fridays due to their mistake. At the end, I decided to not continue waste my time and share my experience over here, so other people can save their time.
First estimation was done on Aug 2nd, I paid $740 deposit on the same day. Then things started to go down. Aug 10th (Friday) was the first installation day, I took full day leave because they cannot let me know when they come. They arrived after lunch and told me the gutter guard they order doesn’t work. They need 2nd estimation. It took 2 weeks for the estimator and owner to come to my house. After the owner came down and rearrange the installation to Sep 14(Friday), 6 weeks after I paid deposit. The installer could not make it on that Friday and only inform me at 4:30pm! It totally wasted my entire Friday! They end up come on Saturday which screw my weekend plan. And they told me that’s the only time they can do it. They offered compensation and I told them my expectation which to compensate my 2 leave days salary. But, at the end, it’s far away from my expectation. so I decided not to waste my time with this company. And come here to let people know my experience and save other people’s time.

Robert and Austin just finished our gutter replacement. They did a SUPERIOR job...! They were a great pair and I found out that this was Austin's third day. Robert did a good job coaching but most of the time they worked as a seamless (no pun intended) pair. They answered all my questions and cleaned up everything nice and neat. I definitely recommend them.

This wasn't the first quote I got, but it was my final! Best price and the very next day...I have gutters. Brandon and Cree came out in nearly 100 degree weather, never complained, got done in just a couple of hours. Very friendly and professional. I will be a return customer if there is ever a need. Don't even bother calling around, these guys are the best! I called 4 gutter places to get bids. Oregon Gutter Service sent out Lucas to do the estimate within a week. He probably was at my house for at least an hour making sure he understood fully the scope of the job, what my concerns were and discussing options. What a true professional and all around nice guy. Before he left, he provided me with a written estimate.

The other people I called just wanted to swing by the house when I wasn't there and didn't want to discuss any of my concerns. One company (based in Eugene) told me to just send them my bids and they would give me a lower price (job unseen!). They explained that because they were in Eugene, it was too much of a bother to come up to Corvallis to do an estimate, even though their website says they serve Corvallis. Hmm- then I'd say it's too much of a bother for me to hire you!

Given all the estimates I got, Oregon Gutter service was right in the ballpark of the others (even less than some). They were able to start quickly and did a fabulous job. It looks exceptionally great!! Even when they ran into a problem with my neighbor not allowing them to put ladders into their side yard, Oregon Gutter Service figured out a way to get it done and get it done right! They cleaned up after themselves daily and at the end of the job. It sounds funny to say, but I LOVE my new gutters! I plan on hiring them again yearly to come back for gutter cleaning.

I was very pleased with the quality of the work, the efficiency of the crew-up, and their clean-up afterward. I had thought about doing the job myself (replacing six downspouts); I'm glad I decided to have them do it.

The only time I was happy with working with Oregon Gutter Service was during the initial estimate consult. After that, things quickly went downhill and I will list what I dealt with before I asked for my deposit back.

1. I wanted my estimate adjusted because I decided to have a couple rain chains in place of standard downspouts. When that adjusted estimate came back, the price of the downspout went down accordingly, but the price of the gutters went up. I inquired about this they explained that the price of the material had gone up since my initial estimate. I expressed my distaste with their attempt to price gouge me. Which they wouldn't have had that chance had I not asked about the new estimate adjusted for the rain chains. They did understand and had the price reverted. Which leads me to number two.

2. After a week of nearly two phone calls a day with them, I was finally able to receive a correctly adjusted estimate. I have no idea if they simply don't communicate with one another but it was becoming incredibly frustrating. The job was less than $1,000. I don't have a large home. It wasn't a big job, yet they couldn't get their act together.

3. About a month before my scheduled date of install I decided to change my color choice. I was having the entire exterior cleaned and painted as well and had changed those colors, which affected the gutter color too. I called and the woman I spoke to said it would be no problem since I had given them a heads up well before the scheduled install date. She told me that generally if its two weeks before, they can make changes. I was able to okay the color change with my contractor for exterior paint and move forward. Two days later I receive a call from someone at Oregon Gutter Service saying that I indeed can change my color, but that it would be a $175 restocking fee.

I became livid. Her excuse for all this miscommunication was that the woman I had been speaking to hadn't been working for them for long and gave me incorrect information. I asked if I could cancel the job and have my refund back, which was $400. She said that shouldn't be a problem and that she would let me know the following week. And that leads me to number four.

4. It took them TWO WEEKS to get me my refund back after I had asked for it. Their excuse was that their accountant only works two days of the week. It took two days and three phone calls before I spoke so someone about where my money was. They still didn't give me the correct information. They said that the money would be showing up back into my credit card account. Yet when I arrived home this evening there was a check in the mail from them. Which they had no idea was ever put in the mail apparently.

This companies lack of coordination and communication is appalling. DO NOT USE THEM.

Easy to work with, they did a good job on new gutters well as moss removal from the roof. I would use the company again in the future.

Excellent work! Gutters look perfect and it looks like the drops toward drain spouts and done right! Creed and Mickey were the two techs that came out to do the work, cleaned up nicely after work was finished. I will definitely recommend and use them again if the need arises.

From the initial estimate, to installation and follow-up to install some out-of-stock reducers, the entire process was simple. They were here for the install ten days earlier than originally scheduled and they did what they said they would. The installers, Cree and Lane, were thorough and accomplished the work in a manner in which I would have (except Much better). No shortcuts, No skimping, Great end result! They even replaced about 36 feet of 8 inch fascia board. The gutters are so well anchored I could probably do chin-ups from them! I fully expect these gutters to be on the house and functional for as long as I’m alive. We’re going to see how they perform this winter and might have the stainless steel gutter guards installed next Summer. Cree and Lane did a great job on this installation and I wouldn’t hesitate referring others to Oregon Gutter Services.

I went with a combo 6 inch and a short run of 5 inch gutter. I had removed old gutters and had the face boards ready. Called them with measurements got a highly competitive quote and book it then. Great crew showed up where very quick with their work. Gutters look great and the next day we had a few heavy rain days no leaks everything was perfect. Based on my experience I would recommend Oregon gutter service.

We were highly recommended to call your company and I'm glad I did. I am very impressed with my new gutters! We opted to get the 6" gutters and 6" gutter protection so that we can collect rain water in the future. The guys were friendly, fast and efficient. I definitely will have them back to replace the ones on house. Thank you so much!

Excellent! From the first phone call to set up an estimate; to the visit with Lucas who worked with us to make sure we could handle it financially; to the installation, everything was topnotch! Came at 8:30 in the morning & by the time I returned home around 1 they were done. Very professional job, no mess. I want to say that Lucas and Micah (the installer) were both extremely polite and respectful, especially to my husband who has some memory issues & was concerned about a few things. They both took their time to listen, explain and assure him ~ very unusual in today's world from young people! The gutters & downspouts work perfectly, are attractive & solid! The removal of old gutters and installation of new gutters was done on schedule and colors matched perfectly. We are very happy with the work and clean up after the job was completed, would recommend them .

Had a $3200 gutter installation to replace old gutters. After the crew finished they left mud on the side of the house in multiple places, emptied the mud from the old gutters in the street in front of our house, broke 2 shingles on the side of the house and didn't tell us and overcharged us requiring a call to get a refund. I talked to the owner about the situation. He said he would talk to the crew but didn't offer to do anything else, including fix the broken shingles.

The estimator came out and all seemed well. They sold us on the bigger 6 inch gutters. They also said that they would haul off the old gutters (even if we took them down to have the house painted) After they left my husband found an area that the bigger gutters would cause issues. I attempted to contact the office, which proved difficult. After several attempts I got threw, explained our issues. The office said he would contact the estimator to call us back, that never happened. Leading up to the appointment we never got a confirmation call. Finally the day before I got ahold of the office, this is when I was told the gutter sized couldn't be changed and I should have gotten a call explaining this. On a positive note the guys showed up and installed the gutters quickly (which look very nice) but then they didn't haul off the old gutters!!! Really!!

Update--
So the day of service no one had me pay my bill they just left. 3 days later I received a bill in the mail, almost immediately after getting the bill I received a phone call. It was the company wondering when I was going to settle my balance. Why yes I am but damn I just got the bill 30 minutes ago and why didn't you take my money when you were here doing my gutters. Don't call and act all accusing like I am not going to pay or something. I had your money ready to go day of service. It is sure funny how when they want money they get in contact with me real easy but when I need them I can't get a hold of anybody for weeks

Could not be happier. They were polite and courteous. Did the job(replacing all my gutters and downspouts) on time and to my standard, which is difficult. They are the only company I've worked with in 5 years of owning my home that I was 100% satisfied with. Estimator was pleasant. Price seemed reasonable. Followed up the day after the job to check on my satisfaction. Whole process was easy and now my house looks much better.

Oregon gutter was both timely with their visit to estimate then the followup visit for install. All work was quality and in the colors we desired. Additionally, communication was top notch throughout.

I called for a bid for a commercial gutter replacement and never received any calls back for a couple weeks. I called to get an update and they told me the style of gutter on the building was too troublesome for them to deal with, so they didn't even want to do it. That is the most unprofessional thing I have heard, compounded by the fact that they never called to tell me that. They apologized for the fact of the no call fyi.

Update: I'm starting to regret handing over thousand of dollars to Oregon Gutter Service as I'm still having issues with the new gutter set up that they recommended and was installed less than a year ago. They have been out 5 times since and as of today 2/17/18 I have water leaking all over my patio.....gets old having to take time off of work.

Fast, friendly & professional. Had the best price of the three places I had come give me a quote. One week after I accepted my estimate I had brand new gutters!

Quick and easy purchase. Their price was great and their service was even better. Work was done the next workday. By 11 AM I had new gutters. They work great and look wonderful.

I had your gutter estimator guy come out and give me a estimate on installing new gutters. He was very professional and said he would contact me about scheduling a time to have you guys come out at install them. No one called me so I called back and no one I talked to could give me a date of when they could come out. They just said they are booked two weeks out. So he said he would call me back the next day with a time. Another week goes by and I call them back and they tell me the same thing and honestly now I am at the point of going somewhere else. So finally they called me back and schedule a time to come out which was a two weeks later. I asked the office guy to speck to the owner and he said the owner didn't have a phone number. Your installation guys did good work but the office and scheduling gets a f in my book.

The guys did high quality work cleaning and treating our roof, installing guttrrs, painting the fascia board the same color as the gutters, and repairing a "bent" fascia board. (Runaway motorhome.). Reasonable prices too.
