We needed our oil burning furnace serviced a while back. Dave and Robert did a fantastic job. They were quick to assess and very meticulous with every aspect of the process. They spent extra time explaining all the details of the work that had to be done. I also fully trust them. Very professional. I will only use Air Controls in the future. Thank you so much!

Air Controls Bozeman Inc. installed a new central air conditioner with heat pump. Getting the quote was easy working with Shawn. He understood what I wanted and came out the first day of installation to make sure we were all on the same page.

Jeff and Joe did the new install, equipment, the very important duct work and cut all the vents and returns. They were very respectful, clean and did an excellent job! They were very conscious about keeping everything clean and the only way you would know they were here is that I have an awesome HVAC system that wasn't here 3 days ago.

They did a great job installing my furnace, so no complaints there. However, trying to get them to do repairs has been an awful experience. Have had 2 appointments so far where I took off work to be at home and they never showed up. Did not call, text, voice-mail, or e-mail, just never showed up. The 2nd appointment, after waiting an hour and a half I was smart enough to call to see if they were really coming, they eventually called me back to say they were not. So lost 2 days of work and still have broken heating system. I'll be looking for another company now.

Our experience with Air Controls was awesome. They were very Professional and kept us in the loop on evething they were doing when they were installing our new furnace. We have always had very good experience with them and would highly recommend them to anyone who needs cooling and heating work Done.

Very happy with the treatment we received from Air Controls. We were looking to replace our 21 year old furnace, and Air Controls gave us a price that was almost 1K$ lower than an identical model from another company. Furthermore, that included extensive duct work revision that wasn't included in other companies estimates, but resulted in much better heat distribution within the house. They also didn't require a pricey "club" membership for yearly service calls like some other dealers did. The technician that installed our furnace was professional and extremely competent, and when I called back with a small problem in the installation, he was here in 30 minutes to fix it. I only refrained from clicking "Good Value", because in the Gallatin Valley, everything is high priced, but that is no fault of Air Controls, as everyone is competing for a limited labor pool.

Air Controls did a great job. Fast. Replaced our furnace & thermostat in 1 day. Also corrected the issues that caused our furnace to fail.

We had a great experience with Air Controls, and specifically Shawn and Guy. They were thorough in their explanations and in the install itself. They did not try to upsell us—Shawn basically said, “Let’s start here first, and if this doesn’t work we can look at other [more expensive] options.” It did work, and we’re grateful. These guys are honest and transparent and it’s obvious they want to do quality work. They’ve won some loyal customers. The difference was night and day compared to experiences we’ve had in the past. I i’ve been working with this company for years, and to be honest, they had some struggles initially.
However, they have done wonders in improving their response time as well as their service. I am happy to call them when I need air-conditioning or heating service. I have also taken advantage of their regular service contract for my home system.
In conclusion I Would recommend them totally!

I’ve always had great experiences working with Air Controls. From their super friendly and helpful office personnel to their professional and knowledgeable technicians. My last issue was with my AC unit (condenser and evaporator coil) needing to be replaced. Robert was the technician who did the work and he was absolutely amazing. He is friendly, professional, and definitely knows his stuff. He even explained to
me why and what he was doing every step of the way during the diagnostic and replacement of the AC equipment. Because of his knowledge and expertise, I am now set up with a much better system that fits my needs. Thank you Robert!

Air Controls recently serviced my free-standing gas fireplace. The technician they sent, Robert, was one of the most knowledgeable people I have ever met on gas fired devices and did a thorough job getting me going again. He really knows his stuff! Thank-you Air Controls for taking such good care of my family's heating needs.

Guy knocked it out of the park on the install, and Dave in the office was super helpful with everything being a new home owner that has never had a house with A/C.

I called Air Controls when my furnace was not producing heat. They were professional, efficient, and got the problem fixed.
Mark M was the technician who fixed the furnace issue. Not only did he fix the issue quickly, but he was happy to let me observe the repair and he explained both the issue and repair.

Air Controls and their technicians are great. They are prompt in getting back to you and into your home to fix the issue. Techs are polite and communicate the problem. They go above and beyond.

Jeff saved the day. These were the only folks that would bother to try and help me out with a couple of roof top units that weren’t cooling. Truly appreciate it.

The yearly maintenance we utilize with Air Controls has kept our system running smoothly. Recently we felt we needed a new wall Thermostat. Dave actually was in the area and stopped by to take a look. He recommended the proper unit for our system, and he followed through. So Pleased with Dave and the crew at Air Controls. Air Controls has been a huge blessing to the Belgrade Senior Center. Dave nominated us to receive an AC and Heating Unit through a program with Lennox call Feel the Love. Dave saw the entire process through until we were gifted the new units. Air Controls installed them and continues to maintain them.

When Covid 19 hit, Dave recommended a unit that would help keep the air clean and virus free. They are professional but still serves the community with a small town neighborly feeling. We LOVE Air Controls and can't thank them enough for the service they provided to us.

These guys were easy to work with. They replaced my furnace on a budget, did good work, didn't push unnecessary upgrades, got it done quick, and accommodated my installation requests.

Got my project in quickly at a fair price, work is good quality. They were able to do a gas line as well as ventilation work, saving money over hiring two separate contractors.

A company can grow fast or it can grow well. When there is too much work, quality gets thrown to wayside. My experience-

12/31/18 furnace went out and was able to get a tech over. Gave dispatch the error code # and all other pertenant info to make the repair easier on the tech before arrival at my house. He diagnosed my control board as bad, which put me at a total quotes repair cost of 650. I was told, even with the holiday, the part could arrive the same week. Not a huge deal at the time that it did not, given the holiday.

1/4/19 had not heard from service, so I called to check on the status. I was told they would track the part and get back to me this same day. No return call.

1/10/19 still no response. Called shop and was told that the control board was sitting there. Who knows for how long. I decided to have a friend and electrician pick up the part to get the work done. Patience had expired.

1/11/19 friend got into furnace to find out that the pressure switch had water around it and that my line was backed up. This is the Carrier furnace error code I had passed along originally, that had nothing to do with the control board. It took my friend under an hour to pull the old board and put in the new board. I was quoted 3 hours for labor. In the meantime, he found the real problem had nothing to do with the control board and put the original control board back. I was almost taken for $650 due to incompetence or whatever else you might want to call it.

Here I am almost 1 and a half months later still dealing with reimbursement. Horrible communication with the head of the service department, Ken.

I own a business and I always appreciate the chance to remedy unsatisfactory issues before a negative review affects the business. I gave this company multiple chances to return my calls and to make things right. Now I am here wasting more time spelling out my experience with an accurate and level headed review. There are other companies in town you can go with, but thing is-everyone is so busy, loosing a customer doesn’t really matter until the economy stalls. I was reimbursed for the parts finally last week, but am being charged $89 for a misdiagnosis to the tune of $650. Glad that was caught before it was too late. I, like most, depend on an honest business doing the job I am not familiar with correctly...

My furnace went out at 1:00am on Christmas. I called Air Controls and they came to help... at 2:00 in the morning... on Christmas! They were able to fix the problem and the bill was fair. Very happy with them and would recommend them to anyone.

Josh from air controls came to fix our heater the same day we called. He was kind and considerate. He cleaned up after himself. He took time to explain to us what was wrong and how he was going to fix it. We are impressed!

After a lot of computer research and 4 estimates Shawn spent a number of hours doing his measuring and such very thoroughly and then explained his recommendations for our needs in a way that was very educational and informative, I truly appreciated his patience in answering all our questions.
We were extremely comfortable choosing Air Controls due to the reviews on the products we chose and the people we dealt with.
It's a big decision and a little intimidating but we were shown what was recommended, it was fully explained to us and at no time did we feel pressured in any way. Everything was done as agreed and on time as well as some over and above things we wouldn't have expected but certainly appreciated. Robert and the guys did a great job on the install and how quiet the furnace is amazes me. I just flat couldn't be more pleased. I would recommend this company to anyone, including my Grandmother!

Wow, these guys are terrific. Just finished installing a big gas garage heater in my 600 s.f. detached garage for conversion to a wood shop. Shawn responded with my request for a quote within a day, and came out to check out the job the next day. Very reasonable quote, and they were able to plug my job into their schedule in about a month (WAY faster than other contractors.) Did a fantastic job! Solved a couple of tricky surprise problems along the way. The main installer (Guy) was a real master, and a really nice guy.

Always have a good experience with them, service techs are very friendly and they can usually get you in that day or early the following day.

Replaced a part in less than 30 minutes when furnace failed to ignite. Gave advice on a condensation problem and recommend another company to hire to do the insulation. Did a safety check and set the furnace to run in 2nd stage. Signed up for their maintenance program which saved me money.
