I would give more than 5 stars if that was an option. My entire experience was superb. I had siding, soffit, fascia, shutters, and a door replaced. The customer service, product selection and quality, as well as the installation process were all excellent. My house looks beautiful! I highly recommend Affordable Remodelers.

Good luck getting the owner to show up. He contacted me 15 minutes after our first scheduled meeting to tell me hadn't left Valparaiso yet (we were meeting in South Bend). I rescheduled and he again contacted me 15 minutes after our agreed meeting time to tell me he wouldn't be at my house for another 20-30 minutes. He basically explained he had more important things to do than to finalize my purchase agreement of a $2,500-$3,000 door.

I worked with Alex at Affordable Remodelers after crazy storms ran through my neighborhood. He initiated the dialog with my insurance company, and got the job done beyond my expectations!

Thanks to Buck, and Affordable Remodelers. Ordered a storm door, and outside door. The door were installed professionally, and on time. Good solid quality, and the installation job was very well done, and completed in a timely manner. I will be happy to contact Affordable Remodelers for future projects for my home.

In July 2021 I made the now unfortunate mistake to use this vendor for replacement of all my windows. At first, seemed very responsive and customer centered. Now, cannot say the same. My window saga as I now call it, has been going on for over a year. They were first installed end of Oct 2021. But I have had nothing but issues since. Something was wrong on EVERY SINGLE WINDOW when they were installed. At first, Kevin was very responsive and kept me up to date and i feel i was very understanding and accomodating. Now for the past 6+ months I haven't really heard from him and was basically pushed off to other people in the company, who no longer work there. I have reached out several times with no response back. It's been over 2 months since I've heard anything on getting these issues resolved. I've also asked on several occasions for the paperwork and info on warranty, etc. and cannot seem to get that even when told "I'll send it to you". You'd think they'd want to be paid the remaining amount but that will not be the case with incomplete and shoddy product/work. At this point, I'd accept what I have and take the requested paperwork just to be done with this company. Do not recommend and will never use again.

We had windows installed in early 2020. Kevin, the owner, refuses to fix the issue or honor the warranty. The window manufacturer he uses will not either. They have stated we can only go through Affordable even though one of their reps damaged a window. The only way Kevin will agree to fix the issues is if he is paid upfront before install and if we remove all negative reviews. We also have damaged siding they fixed with a large of amount of caulking. It looks horrible. We have found a much better contractor to do the work we were going however, they cannot do anything because of the warranty issue. The only way anyone can fix the issue is to replace the 7 windows we purchased from Affordable. Affordable has not completed our original contract as of September 2021. Edit to my 2 year old review: As of April 2024, we have not received any resolution. The response from owner on this review is the first time we have heard from them since October 2020. Be cautious of the reviews you read on any platform. You can see Affordable has a few with the same last name as the owner and a bunch at the same time. I would not recommend this business to anyone.

Left gaps on the corners of the aluminum trim between roof and siding—water and bugs...

Gutters were poorly installed—some already loose.

Relied heavily on caulk to cover mistakes.

Nice enough guys, worked hard for the business. Execution was poor. They subbed the work to some Latinos who were not up to the task of vinyl siding and roofing without major mistakes.
