Estone Charles and Affordable Mold are the best! After another mold remediation company (one of the main players in the mold remediation space) gave us an estimate of $37,721 packed with frivolous charges like $378 to slide our dining room furniture into the adjacent room, Estone gave us an estimate of $7,900 to address all the areas addressed in the previous estimate. The previous company required us to have an independent company create a mold report for $667 before they could give us an estimate. Estone said he would like to take his own readings because if his name was going to be on the job, he wanted to make sure all areas that needed attention were addressed. He came up with all the same areas as the $667 report for free and sent us an estimate the next business day. It took over 9 days to get the other estimate. The job was started quickly and was done efficiently. I highly recommend Estone and Affordable Mold. He is very hard-working and honest!

I have had an on going leaky window that’s been repaired twice by other companies. The issue returned for the 3rd time, Estone Charles came out and assessed the problem. Estone Charles and his crew did an outstanding job repairing and restoring my Living Room ceiling after a water leak in our upstairs guest bathroom. They took their time to ensure the job was completed correctly and perfectly, covering all the walls and floors, the wall mounted television, and all my paintings with high grade plastic, and encased the room so no germs, mold or dust escaped into the rest of my house. While any restoration project is nerve racking, they provided assurance that the job would be done perfectly and in a timely manner. Even my two cats were not too stressed out ! Charles was so gracious and great to work with. He was on time and walked through our whole house and reviewed our potential mold situation. We had another company come out and they quoted us a crazy amount to correct the issue. Charles came out and was so honest and told us it wasn’t needed and really told us what we needed. Estone and his team did an extraordinary job in remediating the mold from an A/C leak that seeped through the ceiling. He and his team were prompt, knowledgeable and returned the ceiling to its former appearance. He remediates and repairs. You can't even see where they mold or ceiling damage was upon completion. I was 1000% satisfied with Affordable Mold. I was in an emergency situation when my washer on my second floor leaked and destroyed the first floor ceiling. Affordable Mold showed up quickly, removed the wet drywall and set up fans to dry the ceiling well before any mold formed. The process was quick, clean, friendly and professional. Never written a review but here we are. Called to schedule for someone to come give a quote for mold removal in a crawlspace for a customer that is selling his non-occupied home. Gentleman was initially friendly, but once I said "quote" he immediately responded with "we don't do that". I asked, you don't provide quotes for someone looking to get work done? How will they know how much a job will cost before proceeding? He said they only do work for occupants of homes, and not sellers and buyers looking to sell their homes. Obviously, writing me off as wasting his time before he got any information from me or even understood what we were needing, which included getting a quote to get work done asap. He told me other companies can do that. I told him we needed a quote to GET THE WORK DONE. But, that we would take our business elsewhere. Totally rude and unprofessional from the get go, unfortunately. In the RE business we often need work like this done and paid for prior to closing. But obviously, would need to know the cost of a job before proceeding. Absolutely won't be referring anyone here.

After some previously unsavory experiences with another company, I was very trepidatious about calling in help. I must say I was very pleased from the start with this company’s level of professionalism. Their workers were careful and mindful of my needs, they were super efficient and timely, not to mention right on the dime with their original quote. (No surprises!) Charles was great. He answered my inquiry the first time I called. I had many questions and concerns and he answered all my questions.
